Chapter 14

The mantle then flared as a tall figure stepped out, blond, looks like to be 6ft tall, bulk. He had eyes blue but no matter under that Glamour, he would always know who's under it. "Dad!" Harry then launched himself over his papas arm, hugging him close. "Hello there buddy. How are you? Hopefully you didn't get into much trouble hm?" Harry chuckled at that.

"Don't worry, not yet." Severus rolled his eyes at that as he then embraced his husband. "Where have you been?" James and Severus then parted as he led his little family over the living room. "Ah- well, why don't I ready the tea, then I'll tell you." Severus raised a brow while Harry stared suspiciously at his Dad. "Very well, I'll ready the tea."

James then kissed Severus cheek "Thanks love" Harry did a gagging noise, James slapped the back of his son's head as Severus readied the tea "oh shut it you, I've seen you you know, with that Viktor bloke."

Harry sighed, plopped himself on the sofa. "Yeah..." James then helped both Harry's hand as knelt Infront of his son. "So- about what happened, I heard-" He was momentarily cought of as Severus handed James tea, as well as Harry.

"Yeah, but I promise! I swear I didn't put my name on that bloody Goblet! Dad I-" James then shushed his child, seeing as he was now starting to tear up. "Hey- I believe you.."

"And I aswell my little raven, you may have done things stupid that got yourself in a near death experience but I know that it wasn't by choice, and what happened back there. I know it wasn't you." Harry sniffles at that as he looked back and forth between his parents. Nodded.

"You know something" Harry then said as he directed his gaze at his mom. "Tell me." Severus sighed as he pulled James up into his kneeling position as they sat on either side Harry. "Well.. your father is already aware of this- I wish I didn't have to tell you but I will- I know how much Albus has kept you in the dark with little information, and I'm trying to change that-"

"Mom, I know, but stalling isn't Ganna change anything, so better just say it." Severus sighed, contemplating whether should be tell his son or not. "You should tell him Sev, he needs to know, it involves him as much as anyone is."

Severus nodded, knowing that it was better that Harry knew. "So you know Igor karkaroff yes?" Harry nodded. "Uhuh, Viktor mentioned him, his the Headmaster of Durmstrang innit?" Harry cocked his head to the side as he looked over his mom for confirmation while leaning against his dad.

"Yes- but, even before he was made Headmaster, he used to be a death eater. On the day on his trial. He made a deal with the minister." Harry cocked a brow at that, a deal huh? "That deal got him out didn't it?" Severus nodded.

"Yes, yes it did." James then held Severus hand for support, Severus smilling appreciatively at his husband. "Well, what is it?" Harry asked. "He listed all of the death eaters he knew in exchange for him being a free man." Harry nodded slowly.

"But it doesn't make him ever being safe around Harry, know this. Some death eaters will go above and beyond to save their own arses. Take Malfoy for instance, we know for sure that he has not been under the imperious curse, why you might ask. His father Abraxas has been a devoted follower of Voldemort when Abraxas was still in school with the Dark lord."

"So his that old? Wicked." Severus tutted at that for missing the point as James smirked. Ah like father and son I suppose. "Yes, he is that old my little raven but your missing the point." Harry shook his head at that, making Severus look questioningly at Harry.

"No I completely understand, but know this dad, we don't know for sure what Malfoy Sr's motives are. People change you know, and you- you changed for me and Dad. Don't judge to quickly."

Severus rolled his eyes, but nonetheless proud of the man his son is becoming. James then ruffled Harry's hair as Harry tried to deflate it. "Hey!" James then tickled Harry's sides, making Harry squeal in surprise. "Ok- okay! Okay!" James then stopped but hovered ever so slightly to Harry's side still, making Harry wary but had this goofy smile on his face.

"Just- be careful okay son?" Harry nodded and hugged his dad, then turned to hug his mom. "I know.. but what am I Ganna do about this tournament, dad I'm younger than them- I don't know if I'm going to get through it, nor am I even Ganna make it out alive."

The moment then turned to seriousness as James and Severus shared a look before looking over at their child. Severus then cupped Harry's cheek. "Listen to me, and listen well you brat. You are going to survive this, internal glory or not. Your father and I are not going to let you go through this alone alright? Plus-"

James then smirked as he continued for his husband. "You've for a pretty, hot tempered, hot I'm general, Bulgarians celebrity by your side, you shouldn't worry about that." Harry flushed at that.

"Oh shut it both of you!" Harry huffed as James and Severus chuckled. "Seriously tho Harry, we will do every in our power to keep you safe. Not only that. We're going to help you alright?" Harry nodded at his mom. "Okay.." James then smiled. "Your not alone Harry."

"Wait, you were about tell us why you sent out dad?" James then scratched the back of his neck. "Oh! Right yes, that, almost forgot." Harry chucked as he pulled Harry by the waist, making his son lean against his chest as James scrambles for his robes.

He then unshrunk to what seems to be folders and then handed it to his husband. "I actually went to Gringgots. So- hear me out before any of you freak out- don't open the folder yet!" James quickly added as Harry was about to open the folder but quickly closed it.

"Alright sorry- so uhm. So I went to Gringgots, I already planned this out and went through the pros and cons of the situation." Severus eyed his husband warily, never I'm his life would even trust James planning something without it being a disaster. Ever. "I know what your thinking sev, don't. I already had everything planned. Full proof."

Severus sighed as he motioned for James to continue. "I plan on showing myself, tomorrow. I know it may sound risky, especially about Dumbledore but know this- I asked the Goblin as soon as I heard from Severus's patronus about you being the fourth champion while I was still at Gringgots. I asked if there might've been a possibility of someone putting your name in the Goblet of fire."

"Oh? And what did they say?" Severus inquired. "They said that no, whoever placed our son's name in that Goblet will be in for a hell of a punishment. You see, once a person writes another person's name and hand it over the Goblet, they leave their magical signature. The name that they wrote will be all for nothing because the Goblet is sort of like a Veritaserum or a lie detector, if the name does not connect to the person's magical signature, the Goblet will instead tie the person to the tournament instead of the name they had putted in."

Harry then cocked his head to the side. "What? But my name was spat out! How-" "yes yes little imp, I was getting to that. Your name was spat because it was what the person used, the name does not matter, I repeat does not matter. So, once I show myself tomorrow. I will have to ask Albus if the parchment back with your name and have it scanned by the Goblins first thing in the morning."

Harry's eyes widen at that, hope bubbled through him as he launched himself on his father's arms.

"So that means si don't get to take part in this tournament?!" James sighed sadly at that, making Harry froze in his father's arms. "Harry, you must understand that, figuring someones magical signature might take 2-3 months depending on how strong their signature is. There is a possibility of you participating in the first task, I am unsure of the second but hopefully we don't get to that."

Harry nodded slowly. Well, it was just one task, how hard could it be right? Harry then thought as he hugged his father none the less. "Yeah it's fine- Atleast there's something you guys could do, I'm happy anyways." James nodded and smiled at how understanding his son could be. "Oh- uhm... I do have something else to tell you about." Severus and James shared a look that for sure made Harry annoyed. "What is it?"

Severus finally asked. "So uh- dad, I  did this inheritance test, before school started and I found some pretty interesting stuff about. I did know it and I might have an inkling you might know, Griphook told me so, because it was passed on to our blood like by generations." James nodded as he encouraged Harry to continue. "Dad.. what's an Aetherborn? It said I was one."

Both Severus and James froze, there face shocked, mouth open and eyes wide. what?!
