Chapter 5

Over the remaining days, weeks or maybe a month of their letter exchanges. Viktor and Harry had gotten close overtime. Viktor, now seated by his four poster bed, read Harry's letter, talking about nonsense, but for Viktor, whatever Harry tells him, he memorize them by heart, for every little information he finds out about Harry everyday, he cherished them, he appreciates them, he even might I say love them.

Though none of the two have noticed the bond they had created during the time. Though about his sketchbook, he asked Viktor on their third letter but Viktor, avoided that question, knowing he cannot lie to Harry or even tell him.

He had found some drawings that broke Viktors heart, there sat in the corner to what seemed to be a cupboard was a little boy with black raven haired, green eyes, and think circle glasses, curled like a tiny boy while crying. It led to Viktor to many questions, is any of this relevant to Harry's situation? He asked himself. Harry had mentioned to him about his living arrangements with his muggle relatives but other than that, he never mentioned any thing else.

Was Harry being abused? That question often ran around Viktors head. He thought about all the possibilities that might have happened while Harry's stay at his Aunt and Uncle's house, all the possible horrors he had to endure. That thought alone made Viktors blood boil and sick to the stomach.

No child, magical or not shall suffer. Not even Harry, no. So Viktor, vowed to himself that he will protect Harry, if not him then who will? As he noticed in those letters they had exchanged, he had mentioned people stealing from but won't say who, maybe Harry's afraid of what Viktor might do, as he should be! But Viktor being the mature one let it slide, for now. But he promise he will get the bottom of this.

Though he was not sure if his little imp was abuse, the possibility was still high, Question after question keep popping on his mind but none answered, the only way to get that answer is to ask Harry, that alone is a challenging one for he had noticed Harry being jumpy around the subject, he had not mentioned anything about his so called family aside living with them, and that alone made him suspicious.

That aside, he will see his little friend soon, and he could not wait, he will protect Harry from all the horrors of the world. And maybe one day, learn to love that green-eyed teen, or maybe am already starting to. But if a friend is what Harry needs then he shall respect that. Love can wait. For Harry, he shall conquer the world if need be.

It was the day after the summer they would be starting their 4th year, the Weasley family went out for their supplies in Diagon Alley. Harry now stood between Fred and George, he had not yet noticed anything different about their behaviour nor that leads him to think of a possible betrayal. Inside Flourish and Blotts for their textbook, while everyone was pre-occupied, Harry then grabbed his sack of money, noticing he was running short. Noticing everyone was busy, he then slipped out of the Shop.

He walked down the pathway towards the whit e building of Gringgots, there was a long line and it was crowded with people taking money with their respective vaults but to Harry he was fortunate, surprisingly. His Goblin Manager, Griphook then approached Harry with a sort of smile.

"Ah, Mr.Potter, how may we Gringgots help you this fine evening?" He and Griphook had ben closed, friends even. "Hello there Griphook, may your enemies befall by your hands. I am here to withdraw some money, I am running short for my supplies as you can see." Griphook then nodded. "Follow me then Mr.Potter." Harry then followed the Goblin through the long halls if Gringgots, it was a little dark, it had lights but no windows, making Harry shudder.

They then both stood at a tall door, both then entered as Griphook took his seat at a small nearby desk in the middle of the office. His office had rows and rows of books, a shelves of documents, typical design of an office worker but more elegant.

"Mr.Potter, Before we get down to business, I do need to discuss with you some serious matters regarding your vault." Harry then tensed at that. He knew what happened. He knew what they did, but even then, it still made his heart break. "Oh."

"I take it as you already know then?" The Goblin asked. Harry then nodded slowly, but kept his head straight, sat up and looked directly into the Goblins eye with a new profound courage. "Yes. I want you to stop the transaction because as you must know, I was not aware of it." Griphooks smirk faltered, anger being replaced, making the Goblin look more scarier. "You weren't aware?" Harry then nodded at that, too scared to anger the Goblin, even knowing that wasn't directed at him, it still scared him shitless.

"Well. Consider it done." Harry then smiled a little at that. "Yes, but with interest." Harry then added. The Goblin nodded before pulling a piece of parchment and a dagger, placing it on the table before averting his gaze back at the teen Infront of him.

"Very well then, now before we continue anything further, I will now need you to prick your finger, 3 drops of blood by the parchment Mr.Potter, or if that's even you." Harry then rolled his eyes at that, he knows the Goblin knows it is him. "Fine." Harry then sighed.

He grabbed the dagger, pricking his finger and over the parchment with the exact 3 drops of blood. Harry then returned the dagger back to the Goblin as words then started to form along the parchment.

The list of many Galleons Dumbledore just kept going and going, but that's to be expected already, but what got his attention most was that, his father was alive? And- SNAPE?! Harry then placed the parchment down, looking at Griphook, before fainting.

"Oh dear..." Griphook then muttered, pressing a button over his desk, a healer Goblin then entered, one look at Harry, the Goblin then rushed to his side, placing Harry over the sofa. "Griphook?" Griphook then just sighed and shook his head. "Fainted, just give him time. And water if you will." The Healer Goblin then nodded before leaving the office. Meanwhile, Griphook then took the parchment Harry just read, he could feel anger for the money that has been stolen and guilty for not preventing and being trusting with the man before a smirk spread over his face. 'Ah, so this is where it all begins, how fun it will be, you are going down Dumbledore.'
