Chapter 5

September 1st then finally arrived. Little Harry, accompanied by death then arrived at Kings Cross Station. Harry who was holding Morrigan perched up on his shoulder while holding the hem of Mr.Deaths clothes. He wore a business like white suit, red tie, and shiny shoes, his hair now white and long as before. Mr.Death was the one pushing his cart, his trunk and the bird cage on top of one another as they walked towards 9 and ¾. "Hey Mr.Death?" Harry asked, looking up finally at Mr.Death while he held the Golden ticket in his other hand.

"Yes little prince?" Death looked down at the child. "Where is 9 and ¾? From what I remember, there are only 9, 10 and so on, there is no 9 and ¾." Death chuckled, patting Harry's head gently. Placed the cart over one of the pillars then turned to Little Harry and crouched as he was now eye contact level from the child. "Harry, remember when I told you about your lot hiding?" Harry nodded. "Harry's eyes lit up as he beamed at Death, who crouched in front of him. “Oh, the witch hunts! Yeah, you told me about those before!” He bounced on the balls of his feet, excited to show how much he remembered. “So, back then, people didn’t get magic, right? And they got scared of anything weird, so they thought anyone with a broom or a cat was a witch. But real witches didn’t get hurt by fire or water because of, um... that spell you said they used! So, when they tried to burn them, they just pretended to scream and then got away! It was like a big trick!"

Harry laughed, his eyes bright with fascination. "But the crazy part was, they didn’t just go after real witches—they accused loads of people who weren’t magical at all! Just because they were different! Can you imagine that? They were so scared they didn’t even stop to think!”

He glanced at Death, proud of himself for remembering. “I bet the real witches thought it was kinda funny—tricking all those Muggles like that. But... yeah, it’s sad too, ‘cause lots of innocent people got hurt.” He smiled, still caught up in the excitement of sharing what he’d learned. “It’s crazy what people do when they don’t understand something, huh?” death chuckled at his little prince's childlike explaination but nonetheless proud, knowing he'd been listening for the most part that is.

"Yes my little imp. So that is why 9 and ¾ is hidden from the muggles eyes. Can you guess where it is?" Death asked. Harry scrunched his nose in thought, he moved a bit, glancing over the pillars that held the sign of each number. He then glanced back up at death. "Uh.. it's in between 9 and 10?" Harry said in a questioningly way, unsure if it's correct or not. Death smiled, kissing Harry's forehead "yes that is correct love." Harry's eyes widen and smiled, proud of himself for getting it correct and also excited in discovering new things. "So.. how do we get there?" Death then stood, stretched his long legs a bit, sore from crouching, grabbed the cart and held Harry's hand. "Follow me then."

Harry nodded and followed Mr.Death side by side as they walked further into the aisle of the station, coming to a stop Infront of a brick wall, on top where a sign says the number 9. Harry looked at Death expectantly. "Alright, now Harry, you see that wall yes?" Harry nodded, confused on where this was going. "Yes." Death smirked, his hands tightening it's grip on the cart, while he held Harry's hand firmly yet gently. "Now we run." What? WHAT? "what do yo-" Harry did not have time to ask, Mr.Death already held Harry close to him, pushing the cart as Harry closed his eyes, scared they might collies against the wall, Harry now expecting pain was shocked.

He opened his eyes again, now finding himself in a old looking Train station, it was packed with kids pushing their cart around with their parents, familliars noisy as ever. It was magical, it is magical. Harry smiled, this was going to be the first time where he could really embrace his curious side and plan on learning anything and everything. Mr.Death then started walking, Harry following beside him. Then they came to a stop, Harry looked up at Mr.Death, swing an unfamiliar expression on the man's face, it made Harry sad, it looked sad, Mr.Death never really showed emotions except when he smiles when he thinks Harry wasn't looking or the way he looks at Harry when he has done something amazing. But this time, it was different. It made Little Harry anxious.

"Is there something wrong Mr.Death?" Harry asked, Death looked down at the child beside him, a ghost smile over his face as he crouched down Infront of him. Holding Harry by the shoulders. "I'm proud of you my little prince." Harry preened at the complime but no matter, he still feels something was wrong and he is sure that he will not like it if it concerned Mr.Death. "But- you are not happy?" Death smiled more broader this time sighing then looked straight into he eyes glowing emerald eyes, the same pair of eyes that he has in his grim form, but, his was different than Harry's, one look at him and people would run, hide, do anything just to get away.

Harry's eyes were innocent, full of happiness, and intelligence in them. "No my little prince, I am happy but- I find my self missing you." Not for long, Death has a little surprise for his little prince's he has not told the child yet, so it shall remain a surprise until later on. "Oh.." Harry said, now realizing what Mr.Death ment, he looked down at the converse that he and Mr.Death bought on one of his shopping sprees the other day, it made him happy in knowing that someone does care, but just someone but Death, funny isn't it. Death, a person known for being an embodiment of fear, death and many more, but when his with Harry, his different, he has the different persona between him and others, it made Harry feel special in knowing that Mr.Death thinks of Harry special enough to actually be affectionate towards him.

"I- can't you come with?" Harry asked in a small voice. Death shook his head. "No dear child, I cannot, but we shall see each other soon" Harry sucked in a sob and threw his arms around Mr.Deaths neck, burrowing his little face on the crook of Deaths neck. "Pl ple...ease.." Harry now sobbing, his words incoherent as his voice become nothing but muffled noises from the way he was hiding his face. Death soothingly rubbed the back of the gree eyed boys back, holding him as tightly as he could, earning themselves a side eye glances from other people pacing near by. Death sighed, pulled the younger child out of the embrace making the child face him. "Remember my little prince, I shall always be there for you, always" As he said that final word, Always he then placed his hand on Harry's chest where there lay the pendant that Death gave him that awful night.

Harry smiled at that, took a deep breath as he nodded. "Okay.. okay, I'm ready." Death nodded, kissing the child's forehead before standing up, taking Harry's hand as he walked forward and now started loading Harry's trunks into the compartments. Morrigan who was in her cage before they entered the platform then hopped off of it's carrier and flew and landed to it's mini masters head earning a chuckle from little Harry.

Death then straightened up, looking down at Harry. "Be good, alright? If not, I have eyes and ears everywhere you know that." Harry just smiled cheekily. "Now go. Or you'll be late." Harry hugged Death one last time, before picking up Morrigan and placed her on his arm before boarding the train.

The train then left in a cloud of smoke, death smiling at a waving Harry. Everything will be a challenge, his sister said, but worth it.
