It's August 5th, 1993 and Remus had gotten a newspaper in, but the familiar face of a past friend—and more—is displayed on the front. It reads, 'Sirius Black escaped from Azkaban July 31st. Authorities are unsure how the prisoner happened to escape and where he has set off to.' Upon reading this news, Remus lets out a slight laugh. Of course his old friend would be the one to manage an escape.

"What's funny, love?" a voice calls from the kitchen. When Sirius got sent to Azkaban, Remus was heartbroken. But that was 12 years ago. He had to move on, and he did. He met Grant and has been with him for a year and a half. They're happy, but Remus finds his thoughts drifting to Sirius and what could've been.

"Nothing, dear. Just a funny comic strip in the paper." Remus says in reply.

"What movie should I pop in the VCR?" asks Grant.

"Episode IV." Remus suggests. When Star Wars: Episode IV came out, he had seen it with Sirius in the cinema. He had told Sirius about it, and then practically got dragged to see it. Sirius loved it, and Remus loved that he loved it. He likes to watch it to be reminded of good times.

After maybe 45 minutes into the movie, there's a noise at the front door. Remus stands from his spot on the couch and walks over to the door. When he opens it, he is stood in front of a black dog. If Remus didn't know better, he would've thought it was Sirius. Despite all, he walks into the hall of the complex and shuts the door behind him. He lowers into a squat and starts to pet the black dog, talking to it.

"Hey, Sirius. Long time, no see, aye mate?" he jokes. He lets out a laugh then a sigh. "Hell, you even smell like the bloke." he continues.

He looks away from the stray down the hall and when he looks back, it's gone. Absolutely nowhere to be seen. He finds it weird, but he just stands up and goes to walk back into his flat. But before he could, he feels a hand on his shoulder and next thing he knows, he is being pulled into a hug. A familiar hug.

"I've missed you, Moony." says the man.

Remus doesn't exactly hug back, he just stands there in shock. He knows that voice.

"Pads...?" he questions.

"Miss me, love?" Sirius says, pulling out of the hug, hands cupping Remus' face. He has tears welling up in his eyes, but a smile on his face.
