Chapter 5
Seeing Narcissa hit with multiple stinging jinxes from the sixth and seventh years I grit my teeth seeing the swelling start including over her face.
Once everyone's hit her once they walk away leaving her on the couch as the head girl looks at me "such stupid Gryffindor action" she mutters.
Lucius walks over helping her up, hearing her hiss in pain I clinch my fists till they turn whiter then my already pale complexion seeing her swollen face as she holds her head high.
I tense seeing her older, holding her hand out "come meet your God son" the older her says smiling.
"With having an heir to meet the agreement with our contract he's free to be with who he wants Sev, I wish there was another way but he was the only one my father agreed to" she adds as the memory takes me closer.
"At least he won't abuse or control you Cissa, I would have tried but you're father knew I'd never be able to follow through on having an heir" a deep smooth voice says.
"I know Sev, he loved you like he's own son and would have been proud to call you his son in law, but we all know who holds your heart" she says softly before leaning towards me as the memory stops.
"Are you okay?" She asks.
I nod stepping back "did you have another?" Sev whispers putting his arm around me.
Glancing at the others I tense seeing Lucius looking me over with a calculated look "Severina, are you a possible seer?" He asks after a moment.
Tensing more I see Sev move between us keeping me behind him "calm down Severus, if she is she needs to learn how to harness her gift so she's not just randomly overwhelmed by it, a seer who's trained can control the clarity of the gift".
Sev glares at him keeping me behind him till Lucius starts walking leading Narcissa to their shared common room.
Narcissa pov
Sitting on the couch I sigh feeling Lucius healing me instead of letting it happen on its own "what was that about? Acting like a bloody Gryffindor" he says spitting Gryffindor out sneering.
Smiling I hold my hand out to him "Lucius, that girl has absolutely no trust in anyone but her brother, we need to show them we will help them, I seen an opportunity and took it she's unsure right now because I just protected her, they have so much potential, we need to make sure no one can use them".
He hums nodding "if we can help them show their worth they can keep the Prince line going, their grandfather is all that's left" he says thinking it over.
"Exactly and with House Black and Malfoy backing them, they will do amazing we just need to make sure they trust us, then we can connect them with our families, I'm almost certain they're abused at home they act like they're waiting for everyone to attack them"
He hums nodding with a thoughtful look before smirking "this Yula break, we bring them home with us we'll write our families explaining this, start establishing our families as protection for them" he says.
Severina pov
Stalking to my room I hear Sev following me "what was that?" I hiss to myself.
"Why did she protect me" I demand seeing Sev looks just as confused.
Hearing the restroom door open I glare at Alecto coming out with wet hair "because she's you're mentor, it's her responsibility to prepare you to survive Hogwarts, this place is filled with favoritism and corruption, once out of here we have to continue fighting in a world that would rather ignore us, we have to be twice as smart then the rest to get jobs, connections mean everything and Dumbledore is the Holy Grail of connections but he only helps Gryffindor".
Frowning I see her sit on her bed brushing her hair "Lucky enough Slytherins have beaten down the doors giving us openings that we need their connections to get in, house Black and Malfoy are the most powerful, if you gain favor with their members, you both have them as mentors that means you have a higher chance to gain their favor".
Seeing her flinch before tugging the brush I raise my brow seeing her start yanking it, sighing I walk over stopping her, grabbing the brush I get it out then brush from the bottom moving up.
"How did you get this bad of a tangle?" I ask.
"Amycus thought it was funny to push me into Black Lake I got him back but it cost me" she mutters.
Nodding I finish up and step back putting her brush down seeing flashes of her running beside me in black robes laughing "hurry up before he sends help for them" suddenly a spell hits Amycus knocking him forward.
"You filthy blood traitors" Alecto yells.
Shaking my head I avoid looking at her while moving back to my bed, seeing movement I look up seeing her laid on the bed with her leg in air looking at her toes "you avoid looking at everyone a lot" she casually says before rolling over looking at me.
Humming I keep my eyes on the bed as Sev leaves "you two are tall, I'd almost believe you both were third or fourth years".
"Our father is 6 foot 4 and built lean" I say shrugging.
She nods rolling over landing on her feet before dropping face first on my bed by me, I frown seeing her take a deep breath near my pillow "leather" she mutters before looking at me "your hair oils smell like leather".
Looking at her I raise my brow "you're creepy" She laughs nodding before getting back on her bed.
