A few weeks later
Limping in the Slytherin rooms with Sev I hiss touching my head as he stands close in case I need to lean against him "toerags" I mutter.
"They don't even realize you can fight without magic" Sev mutters frowning.
Humming I flex my hand looking at the bruised covering my knuckles "has a hard head" I snort.
Feeling Sev push my head back I sigh closing my eyes "it was dumb to headbutt Black".
"His own fault for jumping in to help Potter when he started losing" I mutter.
"Did you break it?"
Humming I reach up touching my nose "I don't think so, it feels different then when Dad broke it".
"Your hand?" He asks.
"I think so, I felt that same cracking feeling I felt when I hit the wall at home"
"I'll go get someone to help" he says jumping up and rushing off.
After a few minutes I hear people coming and open my eyes seeing Narcissa "oh sweet Salazar" she gasps rushing over.
"What did you do?" She demands while letting the head girl heal me.
"Kicked Potter and Black's asses" Sev says smirking.
Feeling my bones snap back I hiss slightly flexing my fingers "she tried to drown Pettigrow in Black Lake".
"He smells, I was just trying to show him water wouldn't kill him" I mutter.
The head girl glances at the wall before nodding "no points lost, I doubt they'll admit they got beaten by a girl".
"Muggle fighting as well" I add.
She nods looking uncomfortable "right, well they won't say anything then".
"What started it this time?" Lucius asks coming in as Narcissa sits by me pulling me against her holding me.
"She didn't like something Black said" Sev answers.
"Oh, what was it?"
"He was talking about someone being nothing but a pure blood trollop that drinks teas to induce miscarriages" Sev answers.
"Narcissa" I add feeling her tense up.
"So you got in a fight to Protect Narcissa's honor?" Lucius asks looking at me.
Glaring at him I try to pull away only for her to hold me tighter "Luc, do not get her started again" Narcissa snaps glaring at him.
He nods walking away "have you always been a fighter?" She asks softly as Sev leaves with Lucius.
Grunting I pull away huffing when she yanks me back, feeling her fingers in my hair I tense up, eventually I relax slowly enjoying the attention and kindness in her touch.
"My sister and mother have requested to meet you both" she says.
Severus pov
Following Lucius I frown seeing him write two quick letters before leading me out "I'm letting Lady Walburga know what her son is doing and letting Narcissa's father know of your sister's actions to protect her honor".
"Why?"
"They must be informed, our family has been friends for generations my job is to protect her honor, with Severina doing it, she's unknowingly shown her loyalty to the house of Black, Narcissa is probably trying to reward her at this moment"
"Reward?"
"Establish their bonds, Narcissa shows her favor by physically touch and protection, it's why she wouldn't release her, each of the Black sisters have different ways, Bellatrix the oldest teaches and guards, Andromeda shows her favor with food she use to feed her sisters when they were all three here and lastly Narcissa"
Nodding I watch as he sends the letters off before he turns placing his hand on my shoulder "you're sister has my respect and I will protect her to the best of my ability, I will protect you as well Severus".
Nodding I glance at his hand on my shoulder "why do you keep doing that?" I ask.
"It's a sign of my protection and Guidance the day you return the gesture will mean I have gained your trust and that you accept my protection, do not do this gesture to anyone till you're education in pure blood culture is finished, should you choose to return it to me touch here" he says pointing to his upper arm.
Nodding I keep my hands down as he steps back "come, we will return to the ladies and see how they are doing".
Following him out and back to the common room I smirk seeing Severina with a strained look and a lipstick print on her cheek.
She jumps up throwing herself to the hall running to her room before the door slams closed as Narcissa sits with a smug smirk on her face.
Looking at the hall my sister ran down I freeze feeling Narcissa kiss my cheek on the same side as my sister, blushing I back up before running to my room slamming the door behind me.
