Chapter 1
Waking up I groan grabbing my head before hearing someone else grunt getting up, looking up my eyes widen seeing a boy that glares at me "did you have to do that Severina" he asks before we hear something slamming.
Looking up at the house I frown feeling shocked at the disgusting home but also like is not that shocking "hurry get up" the boy says tugging me.
Hearing the urgency in his voice I jump up following him as we run from that house, I can't shake the feeling of dread and terror when I look at it.
Coming to a park I lean on the tree overlooking water seeing my looks are different, I'm younger and have a similar look to the boy "are you okay?" I ask.
"Yes, we got away in time"
"He's drunk again, we'll have to camp out in the park again" I say without thought.
"Look she's like us"
Looking up I frown seeing a red haired girl holding a Lily while her sister runs off yelling about telling their mom she's a freak, shaking my head I try to figure out what happened this seems off yet normal.
Frowning I rub my forehead trying to figure out why "Severina what was you dreaming about that made you kick like that?" He asks.
"I was in a room full of glowing balls but I looked different, a boy with red hair pushed me and knocked me backwards into this strange room full of little balls with sand, they poured on me and I think I seen you, just older reaching out to me like you were worried, and someone else in a mask trying to grab me with you"
He nods glancing at the girl "Mom still says you have seer dreams".
Frowning I shrug feeling a tickle at the back of my head "you dreamed of a redhead girl who was my friend remember".
"No, I dreamed of a red haired girl who used you, laughed when her friends bullied you, and then had the nerve to act like you were evil" I say before looking at the girl narrowing my eyes.
"Stay away from that girl in fact, she's who I seen you talking to on a the train" I suddenly say.
I'm not convinced these are dreams, but I can't be sure and asking Mom's pointless because she avoids us thinking it would keep Dad from beating us.
I know he hates me more than Severus because I fight back refusing to curl in a ball and take it, I remember him being thrown back like magic and Mom looked like she wanted to cry, I was six at the time.
She keeps saying Hogwarts will be safer for us and talking about it when he's not around, I know it's a type of school and that it's name causes the same tickle at my mind, like I'm forgetting something.
Sometime later
Standing in a store I frown as the woman checks my size before handing me some robes, glancing at another person I frown seeing him being handed some that are clearly brand new.
I know we're poor, dad spends all the money on his whiskey I'm not sure how or where Mom got the money, I know everything's second hand just by glancing at a few other kids with nicer books and clothes, I clench my fists feeling anger.
Glancing at my brother I see him looking embarrassed while holding his robes hearing someone mention our clothes, at least our wands are new instead of second hand.
My wand turned out to be Ebony with Rougarou hair that was created when Ollivander was testing to see what cores he preferred to use.
Severus got Black Walnut with a Thestral tail hair, again another wand that was made while testing cores.
