What is jealousy?
A bitter taste, poison worming its way to the heart
of your favourite luscious apple
Munch crunch

I wish

Laughter filling the halls, glossy hair
Flick it back and smile with perfect, perfect, teeth
I scrubbed my fangs with bleach and they still didn’t gleam the way that her’s do

I wish I was

A row of cars gleaming in a row
It may have been fake grass but the stadium was real
You leave me in the dirt, and the zombies will grab your ankles

I wish I was her

Monster vs Princess, who is more green-eyed?
You sing praises to those emerald eyes and shy away from mine
Those jewels you heap upon her? They would look far better on me
What is this ‘jealousy?’
