the expiry date has long since fallen away
i think it said 2017
but that might be wishful thinking, not a perfect dream
honey lasts forever
it’s too nice to be killed
but darling, we are bitter
so shrivel
to pieces
and never return always

Last night I dreamt that we were eaten and savoured.
