Please note the following plot changes to fit the lyrics better:
-Avada Kedarva is not an instant death spell – it's just like a bullet and doesn't immediately kill, but death is likely. "Shot" is okay to describe this.
-We enter the story after Dumbledore dies (for the most part) which Draco switched sides and didn't cause it.
-Voldemort is in charge of the Ministry, in a somewhat legal way, so they are fighting the Ministry and Wizengamot
-It is more of a warlike environment with active Order resistance (so smaller battles), with Hogwarts being the end (Yorktown)
-Harry is still the chosen one and kills Voldemort, is a commander of a group of wizards, and is not the leader
-Harry's not as close to Ron and Hermione and there was no Horcrux hunt
-France sent Aurors to help overthrow Voldemort and the Ministry, and Ron is sent there to elicit support. He's not in the war.
-Kingsley is a French Auror
-Being gay or whatever is frowned upon and Harry denies it. Draco hides it.
