Estella Black was the youngest daughter in the whole Black family, she learned at an early age that she was unimportant not only because of her age but also because of her gender. She liked it that way tho, being able to just sit around without having any real expectations. She lived for the little things like listening to the rain fall onto her window.
Her grandfather had a house down the coast, she would spend hours just sitting on the beach looking at the waves slowly creeping closer to her. Her brother Regulus called her a mermaid, it made her happy for a little while.
Estella went to Hogwarts in 1974 and she was placed in Slytherin, to no one’s surprise but a little part of her was sad, maybe she wanted to be more then what her parents wanted? Maybe she wanted to read poetry and cry, swim in the ocean and be happy. That seemed impossible having her parents and their expectations, but never say never right?
