They like each other!
Remus
“Remus! Remus!” Lily comes running towards him exitedly.
“shhh” Madam Pince shushes her, they’re in the library after all.
“What?” Remus says confused by her exited demeanor, he hasn’t seen her this exited often.
“He likes you back.” She exclaims excited.
“What? How do you know so sure?” Remus says a bit skeptical, how does she know that so sure.
“So, remember when I told you I was going to ask him if he likes anyone?”
“Yes, of course I remember that.”
“He said no, but he was acting all nervous about it. He usually lets half the school know if he likes anyone and James was giving him some weird look. So Sirius definitely likes someone.”
Remus was looking at her still a bit skeptical but also believing her a bit more than before.
“Are you really sure?”
“Yes Remus, I’m very sure that he likes you back.”
“If you say so, I guess then it’s true.”
“Come on, I know you’re really excited about this.”
“Yeah, but I’m not going to jump around like a maniac.”
“Hey, let me be.” She said mock annoyed and she elbowed him softly.

Sirius
Sirius and James just returned to their dorm.
“He actually likes you, mate.”
“He doesn’t.”
“He does. Have you ever seen the way he looks at you.”
“And in what way does he look at me?” Sirius was starting to get a bit annoyed, because surely Remus couldn’t ever like him.
“He literally looks at you with love eyes, you have to be blind to not notice that!”
“What?! That’s not true, you’re just making that up. Just so I’ll ask him out.”
“I’m not making that up and you should ask him out.”
“He doesn’t like me back.”
“Don’t be so stubborn and just believe me, he does.”

James
James is getting annoyed with the fact that Sirius is refusing to believe that Remus likes him back. Even though, James does find it a bit amusing that Sirius is being so stubborn about this. He has never seen Sirius so unsure of something.
But James is determined to prove to Sirius that Remus likes him back. He is going to ask Lily if Remus likes Sirius. Suddenly an idea pops up in James’s head. He has to tell Lily.
“I’m going for a walk.” He says to Sirius. Before he leaves he grabs the Marauders Map and he goes to find Lily. Lily is on the second floor in the restroom, so James decides that he’ll wait outside the restroom for her.
