A plan
James
"Oi, Evans." James says as Lily walks out of the restroom.
"Hello, Potter. What do you need?"
"So I have this friend, who is interested in Remus. Would you, by any chance, know if he likes anyone?"
"I knew Sirius likes him back!" She exclaims excitedly.
"Yes, I knew it. I've been trying to convince Sirius that Remus likes him back for weeks." James says relieved that he was right about that Remus likes Sirius back.
"Me too, but I think I might've finally convinced Remus."
"That's amazing, but that's not the only thing I wanted to talk too you about."
"Alright, what is it?" Lily asks clearly curious.
"I have a plan to set them up, but I need your help. So will you help me?"
"Of course I will!" She exclaimed.
James nods, thinking for a moment before explaining to Lily what they're going to do.

Lily
James' plan is brilliant, even though it's very simple. They're going to set Remus and Sirius up. Lily is going to slip a note into Remus' bag and James will do the same with Sirius. Lily will write the notes, because she's the best at copying handwritings. She'll make it look like they wrote to each other. Lily got started on it immediately.
Two days later, Lily and James meet again and Lily hands James the note for Sirius,

It's absolutely brilliant and it can't possibly fail with Lily's help.
James just put the note in Sirius' bag. They just had quidditch training. James had slipped the note into Sirius' bag while he was in the showers. Now James will just need to wait for the next Hogsmeade weekend.

Lily just slipped the note into Remus' bag. They just did their homework together in the library. Lily has put the note into Remus' bag while he was reading a piece about astronomy. Now she'll just need to wait for the next Hogsmeade weekend.
