INTRODUCTION!
Salvete, friends, Romans, and countrymen! I'm creoquie, or Édie! This is my strangely thought-out fanfic, Clever Solidarity Boy, as you can see. It will be, hopefully, a fourteen-act epic about Tom Riddle and his rise to power. While I'm not sure exactly how many chapters there will be inside the sections of this fic and in total, I suspect there'll be many.
The main reason as to why I decided to create this fic, was based on the fact I always thought it strange that Riddle, with his immense charm and good looks, didn't go into politics, so this fic is, put, my idea of what would happen.
ROUGH TIMELINE!
ACT ONE: The First Home.
- Tom Riddle's life with his father.
- His mother is dead, and he has to live with Tom Riddle Sr., a very catholic priest who believes wholeheartedly that his son is a demon. This is not good for baby Tom.
- Riddle is aged from 0 - 7.
ACT TWO: Wool's.
- Tom Riddle's life at Wool's.
- He realises just how different he is from other children. He uses it to his advantage, and this attracts the attention of the morally grey Albus Dumbledore.
- Riddle is aged from 7 - 18. He's legally under their jurisdiction, and the only time he visits after making friends is when he is forced to by Dumbledore.
ACT THREE: First Year.
- Self explanatory.
- Riddle is aged from 11 - 12.
ACT FOUR: Second Year.
- Riddle is aged from 12 - 13.
- World War II begins. (The war is of some importance to Riddle specifically).
ACT FIVE: Third Year.
- Riddle is aged from 13 - 14.
ACT SIX: Fourth Year.
- Riddle is aged from 14 - 15.
- The Blitz bomb hits England.
ACT SEVEN: Fifth Year.
- Riddle is aged from 15 - 16.
ACT EIGHT: Sixth Year.
- Riddle is aged from 16 - 17.
ACT NINE: Seventh Year.
- Riddle is aged from 17 - 18.
- World War II ends.
ACT TEN: Auror Training.
- Basically, college. He learns a lot abroad. Yes, he goes abroad.
- This is a two-year period of more school.
- He is aged from 18 - 20.
ACT ELEVEN: Understandable Ways Of Getting Supporters.
- You'll see just how logical and understandable these methods are.
- He is aged 20 - 22.
ACT TWELVE: Riddle's Political Rise.
- The methods worked, and now he's getting popular.
- It takes a while for him to get this popular.
- During this period, he is aged 23 - 33.
ACT THIRTEEN: Minister For Magic.
- He got so popular that now he's
Godthe Minister for Magic! Time to rule the globe. - At 33 (and onwards), he is Minister.
ACT FOURTEEN: The Golden Revolution.

- A bit more serious than that, but you can see what exactly Riddle did with the place.

WORLDBUILDING INFORMATION!
Not sure how to format this at all.
Alrighty then! There are a lot of cannon divergences when it comes to this fic and the actual Harry Potter story and what it says about Tom Riddle. I truly hate how he is portrayed. Whether or not you're aware, Tom Riddle's father (Tom Riddle Sr.) is a victim of rape. Tom Jr's mother, Merope Gaunt, was in love with Riddle Sr., but when he did not love her in return, she gave him a love potion and took advantage of him when he was under its effects. Eventually, he left her, and she later died, giving birth to Tom Jr. Tom is a product of rape and his whole personality is based on the fact that because he was born not out of love but of an artificial love potion, he feels no emotions. I find this extremely insensitive to people who were assaulted or taken advantage of. So, while I did not eradicate the part where Riddle Sr. was assaulted, I did change why Tom feels less strong emotions than other people. Additionally, yes, Tom does feel emotions, but they're very weak compared to the feelings of others. The reason why Tom lacks emotions is that, after Riddle Sr realised what Merope had done to him and he left her, Merope felt a gut-wrenching, overwhelming hatred. I headcanon that when a witch or wizard feels an intense emotion (so much so that it overwhelms them), they accidentally do magic. The magic is oftentimes very destructive. In Merope Gaunt's case, she gave herself a sickness built off of hatred, an obscurus. This infected all of Tom. His neural system, his magical properties, his soul, his very being. This hatred spread all over him and melted into a sort of indifference that infested his body.
The Death Eaters are also changed into a political party! They're referred to as the DEPP, which stands for the Death Eater Political Party (very creative, I know). The name of the party itself is also a political front, as Riddle, when he is still trying to be elected as Minister, says that the DEPP, more specifically the "Death Eater" part, is a homage to the poverty he was subjected to when he was a child (he doesn't expand on that, as it's well known he chooses never to speak of his childhood before Hogwarts).
The Golden Trio era itself is stained with blood. Nearly all of the UK is made up of magic-extracting factories, and muggles are in hiding from a foe they cannot face, let alone fight. The environment itself is also very different, very destroyed and dead-looking because pure-blood children are free to do whatever it is they want with magic when they aren't in school. Speaking of schools, muggle schools were obliterated. (There wasn't any use to them, as they were a waste of space since most of the muggle population was taken). Wizarding schools shifted the entire curriculum so that it was, essentially, propaganda in favour of Riddle. While half-bloods aren't sent to the magic-extracting factories upon birth like mud-bloods, they are heavily chastised and not able to get into any wizarding schools or get jobs if they are of the age. Usually, half-bloods work as cooks, cleaners, gardeners, or just general servants for the pure-bloods. Society itself is entirely based on blood status during the "Golden Era". For the sake of accuracy in this book, I will be labelling this era as the "Lighting Revolution". It sounds cooler and is more true to the book because there is nothing golden about the reign of Tom Riddle.
Besides that, I'll likely try to explain the rest of the worldbuilding during the fic itself. It might sound a bit expository, but we'll see how easily I can slot in world-building facts into this fic!
