Chapter 1

It was Friday so the party wouldn't affect classes. Most people expect that Lily is the one who tries stopping parties seeing as she is a prefect but she usually does all the planning.

“Who is ready for this party!” James screams, he is much too drunk for how little time since the party started. Gryffindor had won once again and this was just another party of the hundreds they had thrown. All houses were invited as normal and the slytherin group had just arrived.

“Hey Reg!” Regulus had been to enough gryffindor parties by now seeing how close he'd gotten with Lily and Remus but today he decided to bring the rest of the slytherins or the ‘Emeralds’ as Lily had named them. “Glad you decided to bring your other friends” Regulus greeted her back and his friends said their hellos.

Tonight it was her job to tell any new people the rules “I know you already know this Reg, but i don't think the rest of you have ever been here so let me give you the rundown. Gryffindor parties are pretty chill but we also have rules to make everyone comfortable. we’ve got charms set up in different areas, over there’s the main party area the music is full volume and there's not many rules” she points to where james and sirius already seem much too drunk. “there's the chill zone, the music is quieter so you can actually hear things, so no being obnoxious” she pointed out that too “then lastly the quiet zone, if anything gets to be too much you can go over there, fully silent so keep it that way” finally showing the last area. “Oh and one final thing, because you're friends you can always find one of us and go up to the dorms if anything happens. Any other issues you can find me or Frank Longbottom,” she pointed to where Frank was sitting with Alice. “I'll let you guys go now. But break the rules and you will be kicked out, we don't take people's comfort and safety lightly.”

Regulus bumped into Barty signaling for him to respond, most likely because he was always the rule breaker,  “Right Evans, thanks for the rundown” Barty responded

“Of course, enjoy the party!” She then walked off leaving the rest of them to their own devices.

Lily was always seen as the quiet one which was obvious by the way they looked so surprised when she showed any intensity. That honestly bothered her, she was so much more, she knew she was fierce her friends told her it all the time. She just wished other people would see her the same.

“Oi Lils,” She heard Remus calling, “over here” Remus was sitting on a couch right on the border of the party zone so the music was just fading out a bit.

Lily went and sat next to him. She loved parties, the parts where she got to sit with her friends drinking, not necessarily the loud dancing aspect of them

“Hi Rem, your sister just got here,” Pandora was someone Lily had always wanted to know. “just if you wanted to know” She had already thrown her feet up onto the couch her knees resting over Remus’ lap

“Thanks for always watching her even if you’ve never really spoken” Remus and Lily had always been close, and she always watched out for people she knew meant a lot to other people. The same way she always watched over Regulus even before they knew each other. She wasn’t going to let Sirius’ little brother get hurt if she was around.

Around two hours later Lily is probably much too drunk for how she’s supposed to be on safety duty tonight but oh well. The party has died down a bit and her friends are all gathered around in the more quiet zone of the party.

“We should play truth or dare!” Marlene decided

“Spin the bottle is so much better” Mary insisted

“that could cause too many issues though” Marlene fought back.

The girls loved each other, Lily swore they did. But when they were drunk they acted like they had to fight or they’d drop dead right there.

“how about spin the bottle but that person has to do a dare?” Pandora suggested instead. Pandora had always seemed to be the problem solver.

“You’re so smart, Dora,” Marlene said. and so that’s what they did. Most of them enjoyed games like this, especially when drunk.

a few rounds passed and nothing too interesting happened. Barty got dared to wear one of the girls’ outfits, so he was now in a very short skirt that probably hadn’t seen light for hears. James got dared to do someone’s makeup. all other boring things.

Then the bottle landed on Lily, James had spun it so he was picking her dare.

“oh lils i bet you wish this was regular spin the bottles!” James teased “I dare you to kiss the prettiest one in the room on the lips,” He said after thinking. It was such a James thing to say too.

“Okay.” Lily’s first thought was Pandora. she was the prettiest to be fair. But did she want to do that? she guessed since it was the rules it would be fine. and if Panora didn't want to she could push Lily away. So Lily walked across the small circle then leaned over to press a quick kiss to Pandora's lips.

“My sister Lily! Really?” Remus huffed drunkenly after she sat back down but Pandora just smiled at her. Lily could barely focus on what Remus said because of how breath taken she was from Pandora.

Lily knew she wasn't straight. That had always just been obvious to her, that she also liked girls. But Pandora? Pandora was something else. She knew Dora was pretty but now she might just be having a crisis. She practically blanked for the rest of the night until Mary and Marlene dragged her up to the dorm.

“So are we just going to ignore what just happened?” Marlene questioned as soon as the door to the dorm shut.

“Marlene!” Mary scolded quietly “she seems to be going through a full crisis”

“It's fine,” Lily said. “I really don't know what happened though.” The other girls dragged her to her bed and sat her down sitting on either side of her.

“So do you like Dora?'' Marlene asked. But Lily really didn't know because Panda was pretty and kind but that was also one of her best friends' little sisters.

“I dont know” lily replied “she's pretty and all but i think i was just drunk and a bit breath taken that she kissed me s’all”  she wasn't sure that was the truth but she tried convincing herself as much as she could. “I think i'm going to go to bed now,” she said finally before passing out in her bed.
