Platform Nine and Three Quarters

4th Year…

Chapter 1: Platform 9&3/4

Amelia stood nervously but with a hint of excitement in front of the two platforms; the platform 9 and 10, with her trolley full of supplies. She was mostly excited to see her best friends again, albeit a bit nervous to see a certain someone with rugged good looks, long black shoulder length hair, obsidian ey- She mentally slapped herself and jumped off the cliff for thinking such things about Sirius Black. She was clad in her normal Hogwarts’ uniform. A white button up, half tucked into her thigh length grey skirt. Her Gryffindor tie hung loosely around her unbuttoned collar, and her uniform was finished with a pair of white knee high socks and a pair of newly polished black shoes, and a black leather jacket which had Queen badges on the front and her name printed in the back in a gothic font in white. She was snapped out of her intrusive thoughts by her parents practically shooing her to run into the platform.

“AMELIA DOVE MAY. YOU WILL BE LATE IF YOU WASTE 10 MORE MINUTES JUST STANDING THERE!” Amelia’s mom, Grace May, previously Selwyn yelled at her.

“Jeez mom, aren't you excited for me to be gone? Do you honestly hate me that much?” Amelia had a fake hurt expression on her face.

“9 minutes and ticking Ames.” Grace played along.

Amelia rolled her eyes. Of course she’ll play along.

“Fine fine I’m going. Have fun leading boring lives without me.” Amelia hugged her parents one last time before she left for 6 months with magic before meeting them again on Christmas. She took a deep breath and ran in with her trolley through the wall and was greeted by the familiar train station, the smell of the smoke of the engine, and most importantly the smell of…home.  She searched for the familiar faces of her best friends…and the oblivious Sirius Black. To her surprise…or rather not because she expected this from her “inseparable sister”, or so she called because they were inseparable since the first day of the first year. Lily nearly caused her to crash onto her own trolley with a bone crushing, blood circulation cutting hug.
