Black, Jules black.
Jules' thoughts were interrupted as the door to her compartment opened, she looked at the door and saw a beautiful blonde girl. She smiles at Jules and grabbed her hand to shake it,
" I'm luna, and you are?" said the blonde

"uh- Jules- nice to meet you, Luna" Jules replied swiftly.

"it's nice to meet you too Jules!" Luna had replied.
they sat together and talked the whole train ride, they talked mostly about the "muggle" world, as Luna calls it.
eventually, the train stopped. Luna and Jules shared a knowing look of excitement then raced to grab their bags.
"first one to the Castle is a rotten egg!!" Jules shouted as she ran, not caring who looked at her.

"oh you Cheat!!"- Luna giggled and ran after Jules.
they made it to the castle and if Jules thought it looked big far away- it was GIGANTIC up close.
"whoa" said Luna and Jules, at the same time. they shared a smile and walked in.
they got their bags taken and walked into what everyone was calling 'The Great Hall', it was beautiful- definitely Worthy of its name with floating candles, long tables all lined up and filled with students wearing Red, Blue, Yellow, and Green ties.
they were lead to the front of the room, infront of a long table full of what She guessed to be teachers, where a talking hat was?? it was pretty cool, it was called 'the Sorting Hat.'

"Luna Lovegood!" called McGonagall.
Jules gave Luna a soft smile before she walked up, and sat on the little brown chair.
"Ravenclaw!! " shouted the Sorting hat.
all of the blue-tied folks cheered and she walked to their table.

"Jules Black! " said McGonagall, the room fell silent, she don't know why. she walked up and sat on the brown chair, a little too big for her.

"oooo has a lot of courage " said the sorting hat.
Jules eyes raced to find Luna. when her eyes met Lunas, and Luna gave an encouraging smile, Jules visibly calmed down.

"a lot of wisdom and intelligence as well.. Ravenclaw maybe? " stated the sorting hat.
Jules held her breath and thought about being in the same house as Luna.. how fun that would be-

"ooo but a lot of patience, and fair play. Hufflepuff?" said the sorting hat again.
jules let her breath go.

"NO! i know where to put you!! SLYTHERIN!!!" shouted the hat.
the table full of Green-ties erupted into loud, deafening cheers.
i made my way to the table full of green, a lot of the Boys tried to make a space for me, but i walked past them all and sat with a Girl who didn't bother to acknowledge me.
"can i sit here?" jules asked softly

i don't know. can you? " the Girl said with a teasing smile before saying "Pansy, Pansy Parkinson."

"Black, Jules Black." she smiled and sat next to the Girl.
they ate dinner together and she told jules about everyone, and everything she needed to know, she invited jules to try out for the Quidditch team, and Jules reluctantly accepted.
