Ginger & Jewel
finally the girls Entered their common rooms, the green was absolutely beautiful, accenting the dark leather couches, a giant fireplace stood against the left hand wall, a few chess tables on the opposite side.
the huge stained glass windows showing what seemed to be a courtyard, on the left and right corners were two large doors, finding out those lead to the dorm rooms, a sign on the wall posted ,
"masculine to the left, feminine to the right "
she didn't know anyone in Slytherin yet besides Pansy, so with she decided to follow pansy and buddy up with her.
the hallway stretched for what seemed to be miles, beautiful wooden doors lined down either side of the hall, a painting between dorms here and there, the rooms had three beds in each, so she chose a room that was currently empty. the beds had very fluffy-looking mattresses.
on the left hand side of the room there was a medium sized window seat, the window looked as if it could open, so by instinct she rushed to that bed. throwing her wand onto its adjacent mattress as she began trying to open the window.
Pansy giggles at brooke's rush to the window, giving her a soft smile before claiming the middle bed.
"it doesn't open" pansy said

"oh dang it.." Jules sighed and moved back to bed, unpacking her trunks that had somehow magically appeared on her bed while her back was turned.

Jules and Pansy Conversed Close to two hours, talking about the basic Hogwarts procedures and the quidditch team, before it all came to an abrupt halt as the door opened. a tall girl stepped in, she didn't acknowledge Pansy or Jules at first. she just walked right to the open bed and began to put her things away. Pansy and Jules' eyes were on the girl, she suddenly turned around to meet eyes with Pansy.
"Parkinson " she nodded as he spoke to pansy.

"Greengrass." Pansy responded.

"uhhh Black?" jules spoke up, not really knowing what to do, Pansy laughed at me while the blonde girl battled with letting a smile appear.

"I'm Daphne. Nice to meet you.. Black?", she questioned, she seemed to be deciding if she liked Jules.

"Jules. you can call me jules." She smiled at Daphne, watching her face break into a slight grin.

All Night the Common Room was full of chatter, it was Pushing Close to the Early A.M.
Pansy and Daphne were playing a competitive game of chess at the main table with multiple people watching from behind Either of the girls, silently Rooting for them.
Jules Took the Opportunity to leave the common room and explore, wanting to locate everything so her first day would be as easy as possible.
Jules gently pushed open the painting. she slid out of the small open space, unseen. briskly, she walked to the stairs, quietly whispering that she wanted to find the Library, the stair cases moving in union with her as she traveled, Occasionally skipping a few steps since she remembered the trick steps pansy warned her about.
Jules eventually made it to the library, having got lost a few times before finding it- but made it nonetheless. she pushed open the door to the library, where she was met with beautiful detailed wood, this place looking like her envisioned dream library.
her heart almost stopping as she seen all the beautiful-well kept books. she Rushed to the poetry section, picking up two books she's been longing for since she found her fathers diary, which was filled with poetry- bringing her to love poetry herself. after checking out the books she wanted, she wasn't paying attention as she turned to exit the library, bumping into a tall figure trying to come into the Library. both of them dropping their books, scattered across the short distance between them.
"Oh gosh, i-I'm so sorry!!!" the unfamiliar voice whisper shouted, diving down to pick up his two books, as Jules grabbed her two books.

"no no, I'm sorry! i should've been paying attention!" Jules Replied, stepping into the hallway and letting the door shut while giving the redhead a soft apologetic smile.

the red headed boy smiled at Jules, speaking quietly, "I'm Fred, Nice to meet youuu..??" he prompted

"uhh Jules!- i'm Jules. " she quickly filled in.

"Jewels?, J-E-W-E-L-S?" Fred Questioned.

"Not quite, it's J-U-L-E-S" she quietly responded.

"ahh, i see! what's your house, Jewel?" Fred asked, seemingly interested in her answer, since she wasn't wearing her robes.

"Slytherin- Actually." Jules responded, smiling about the dumb name She was just called.

"Wow! really? you seem like a ravenclaw." he chuckled to himself. "i'm a Gryffindor, but hey! it's getting late and we should probably get back to our dorms" he suggested, smiling slightly.

"yeah- we do have classes in the morning, but it was nice meeting you Fred!" Jules smiled before starting to walk away.

"Bye Jewel!!" Fred spoke out to Her.

"Bye Ginger!" Jules Giggled, speed walking away before Fred could retaliate.

Fred Chuckled, looking down at his books and Realising he had One of Jules' books, smiling to himself about the pickle he just put himself in. he'd have to speak to the pretty girl again to return her book.. he couldn't wait.
