“So… you got the same letter?” Harry asked. Ron, Hermione, Ginny, and Draco all nodded. They looked around the small room they’d been instructed to go to.
“It’s strange, I’ve never seen this place on the Marauder's Map.” The room was… cozy? It was like a small living room, with a large, L-shaped couch, a table, and a rather large television. Ron opened a door off to the side.
“Bathroom,” He announced, shutting it again. They all stood silently for a moment, wondering what to do.
“Oh- shit, you guys are here already!” A voice came through a speaker near the top of the wall. They all drew their wands.
“Now, we can’t have any magic while we’re here!” The wands vanished in a poof of smoke. The group looked at eachother, distressed.
“Don’t worry, I'm not going to hurt you. I’m simply going to show you something very interesting! Please, take a seat.” Draco crossed his arms, defiant. Ginny, frightened, took her brother’s hand and led him to the couch.
“Let’s just do what they say,” She said, settling down. It was actually very comfortable. The rest followed. The three Gryffindors all sat next to each other, on one edge of the couch, and Draco sat on the other.
“Real quick, I need to add two more people. Don’t freak out when you see them, ok?” Before anybody could respond, Snape appeared on the couch, near Draco. Harry glared at that murderer. Snape looked shocked, but quickly covered his emotions with his usual sneer.
“I don’t want him here,” He said, scooting closer to his friends. He’d killed Dumbelore mere days ago. If Harry had his wand…
“Don’t worry, he can’t hurt you, or anyone, in here. One more person!”
Dumbledore appeared on the couch, between Snape and the Gryffindors. There was a collective gasp as they registered that he was there.
“You’re alive?” Draco whispered. Dumbledore smiled.
“Not anymore. The kind boy whom you’ve been hearing over the speaker explained everything to me. May I explain to them?” He asked.
“Sure!”
Dumbledore grinned once more, and stood to face the whole group.
“Now, first I have to explain something to you. There is another universe,” The group’s eyes widened, "where we are characters in a Muggle book.” The group all had mixed reactions. Dumbledore raised his hands for silence.
“Don’t worry, that’s not this world. Today, we’re going to be watching a parody of those books.”
“A movie?” Hermione asked. Dumbledore shook his head.
“No. While there are movies based off of these books, we’ll be watching a musical inspired by them.” Draco rolled his eyes.
“I think it’ll be quite fun, Draco,” Dumbledore said, noting his disinterest. The boy shrugged.
“Now, this musical is, again, a parody, so it won’t be fully accurate.” The speaker turned on once more.
“Also, it was made by some crazy college students, so… take that as you will.” Dumbledore nodded at the speaker, and sat down. The room took a few moments to process all that they’d heard.
“I cannot stay, I have important matters to attend to,” Snape said, standing up.
“Don’t worry you greasy bitch,” The speaker said, “Time won’t move forward outside of this room. Not until you’re done watching.” The teacher reluctantly sat down.
A sigh could be heard from the speaker. “Look, I know you’re all probably really worried about a lot of things going on right now. Don’t worry. In the words of a very wise man, ‘just go with the flow, ya know?’” A few people smiled at this. The screen flickered on.
“Without further adieu, allow me to present, ‘A Very Potter Musical!’”
