The announcement
Katniss:
Mom, Prim and I sat on the couch waiting for President Snow to announce what the 75th cruel trick is. Whatever happens I have to mentor the poor tribute girl. President Snow comes up to the screen with white gloves holding a blood red box.
“The 75th hunger games tributes are going to reaped from the existing bowl of tributes,”
Prim cries, Mom sits there stunned. I walked out of the house so I don’t have to show them my expressions.
Peeta:
I sat there stunned. I could have to go into the steam again? One thing was for sure that Katniss was and so was I. I leave and head to Haymitch's for his help.
Tris:
I stand there as Tobias throws a vase across the living room out of rage.
“Tobias calm down. There are so many victors in Two the odds of you or me being chosen is so low,” I tell him.
“The odds are never in our favor never,” Tobias said.
Percy:
The hell? Back in that damn arena?
“What do they mean, reaped by an existing pool of victors?” I ask Annabeth.
“Exactly what it sounds like seaweed brain,” Annabeth says to me. This is going to be hell.
Cinder:
Kai is sitting there stunned. Neither of us expected to have a chance of going into the arena.
“I’m going to call Iko. See how she’s doing,” I say
“I’ll call Thorne,”
Mare:
“They're joking right?” Maven asked.
“They’re not joking,” Cal said.
“The hell!” Maven said, throwing a vase at the wall.
“Really? I liked that vase,” Cal said.
“We got this alright. Best case some else are called. Worst case one of us is,” I say.
“Yeah Mare, that is the worst case!!” Maven said.
“Everyone just calls down,” Cal said. Maven sat down and muttered.
“I really hope it’s the silver haired sibling,”
Jace:
“We got this. If they call one of these we got this. We can win again,” I say.
“It sounds like you want to go back,” Clary said.
“Maybe a bit,”
“I’m calling Alec and Isabelle,” Clary said walking to the phone.
“Alec is going to tell you the exact same thing I am,”
Harry:
It wasn’t like Ginny to cry, after we’ve been through most things seem so little. But this isn’t little. The possibility of reliving the horror that is the arena is crazy.
“We could call Ron and Hermione,” Ginny said after a while.
“I’ll call them,” I said.
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah, beside I haven’t talked to Ron in a while,”
Isabelle:
Alec walked into the room after he hung up his phone.
“That was Clary,”
“Shocker,”
“We are all dealing with this knews differently. You will your sassy attitude, Clary calls her friends,”
“If we are going into the arena it’s not going to be any different then before,”
“What are you going to more people with your horrible cooking,”
“Haha Alec,”
Ron:
“Yeah man, thanks. Let us know if there is anything we can do for Ginny. Hermione and I would do anything to help you guys….yeah. See you both soon,” I say:
“Harry?” Hermione asked.
“Yeah. This is so bloody bad I don’t even know what todo,”
“It’s clearly a power move on president snow’s end,”
“Wat?” I am so confused.
“Don’t you think it’s strange that the districts are rioting and trying to get victors to help them this comes up. Not a coincidence,”
“And this also goes with the reapers are rigged and not a lottery,”
“Oh Ronald,”
Edmund:
“This is so unfair,”
“Ed the games are never fair,”
“It's just us. Two of us are going to be reaped,” Lucy says aloud.
“We all won once and can win again,”
“Do we really want to chance that,”
Iko:
I got off the phone with Cinder. I called Thorne.
“Yeah Robot?” Thorne’s voice crackled on the other end.
“You gotta stop calling me that,”
“It’s catchy,”
“Are you drink Throne,”
“Maybe,”
