The reaping part one
For weeks Peeta, Haymitch and I trained for about two months to get in shape because one of us was going to be victorious and not make how we liked it. And now Haymitch and Peeta on one side of the stage and I on the other. Effie stood there on the verge of crying. After a while she walked over to me.
“Lady’s first,” Effie said. She picked up the one piece of paper.
“Katniss Everdean,” she choked out. I walked to the center of the stage. Effie walked over to Haymitch and Peeta.
“Now for the men,” she said and stalled between the two pieces of paper. Finally she picked one up.
“Haymitch Abarthy,”
“I volunteer,” Peeta says, walking over to me. The new peacekeeper dragged us to the rain without a goodbye from my family’s
Thorne:
There weren’t a lot of victors in eleven. So it was Iko, Wolfe, me, Winter and two others.
“Iko Bot,” Levana said with a little too much happiness.
“And..” she walked over to Wolfe, Jacin and I.
“Carswell Thorne,”
I can’t believe it Robot are going to be fighting again.
Lucy:
I stood next to Susan as Jadus called Peter’s name and Edmund volunteered. I don’t know why Ed did. I mean not anything against Ed’s character but Peter has a better chance of leaving the arena alive then him. I made Susan promise that she wouldn’t volunteer for me if I was chosen. She made me do the same thing for her. Jadus walked over to us.
“Lucy Pensive,” she said in a cold voice. Susan gave a small sob that the cameras wouldn’t be able to catch.
Hermoine:
When Ron got called I knew I wouldn’t let him go in alone. Bellatrix called Luna Lovegood. And I volunteered. I know Ronald didn’t want me to but I wouldn’t let him go in alone.
Ginny:
Harry had volunteered after my name was called. I knew it was out of love but I couldn’t help but feel guilty. At least we would spend our last moments together.
Alec:
I thought it was strange that both our names were called. We made a pact with each other that we wouldn’t volunteer if the other was called. Didn’t matter because we were both reaped and no one else volunteered for us. No other victors want to go back into the arena.
Clary:
Jace and I were both reaped which is weird but a complete coincidence right?
