Am I In The Wrong for Calling My Friend’s Situationship Weird and Perverse?
I (25M) has been best friends with someone (26M) since we were eleven. When we were twelve I met his brother (Now 24M) and I instantly had a crush.
Over the years I started following him around, tracking his whereabouts, his favorite things, etc. I have notebooks and pictures and lists about him but I don’t really see it as stalking; I’m trying to woo him when the time is right.
Recently my best friend (S) has found this out and is telling me it’s weird and perverse. I don’t think so, I think it’s sweet and romantic. What I think is weird and perverse is him having a 10+ year situationship with our other best friend (R) who got his (S) cousin pregnant.
Am I in the wrong for saying that?
EDIT: No I’m not asking if I’m in the wrong for stalking his brother, I was just giving needed context.
EDIT 2: No the police haven’t been involved with my ““stalking”” case yet.
EDIT 3: Please stop encouraging my best friend to call the cops on me.
