Am I In The Wrong for Being in a Situationship with my Baby Momma’s Cousin?
I (25M) got in a relationship with my best friend (26M) when I was 15 and he was 16. We broke up a bunch of times but ultimately got back together very quickly each time so we never counted them.
However when I was 24 and he was 25 (last year) we got in a massive fight and broke up for six months. During these six months I got with his cousin (then 19F, now 20F) because this was our first real breakup.
The only reason I got with her (T) was because she reminded me a lot about my best friend (S) and they even looked similar! I didn’t expect it to end up where we slept together or she got pregnant.
When she got pregnant I got really scared but stayed loyal during most of the pregnancy. That was until the five month mark (she got pregnant a month into our relationship) when S said he wanted to try again. Naturally I said yes but we haven’t made anything official in this time.
The baby was born four months later and is currently three months old, making me and S being back “together” a seven month thing. We haven’t made it official yet and we’re just talking to each other and are very committed to each other but he says labels aren’t for him right now.
T seemed fine with me and S’ relationship especially because she knew we’ve been together for (on and off) nine years prior to us getting together. T also should’ve have expected much considering I got with her about a week after me and S broke up and got her pregnant a month later.
However a lot of comments on S’s reddit posts (and even one by another mutual friend) has been saying I’m the asshole for dating someone, getting with their cousin (and getting her pregnant), and then getting back together with the original person. And while I don’t think I’m in the wrong I wanted more opinions about this situation.
