Day at Wayne Manor

The morning sun filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow over the bedroom. Toni woke up slowly, realizing her head was resting on Bruce's bare chest; his breathing indicated he was still in a deep sleep. A soft smile graced her lips as she remembered the late-night activity they had indulged in when Bruce and Hal returned from patrol. She slipped out of bed softly, careful not to wake Bruce. With his role as Batman, their children, and overseeing Wayne Enterprises, he barely got three hours of sleep a day.

As she moved quietly around the room, she caught the enticing aroma of breakfast wafting upstairs, figuring Alfred was already at work in the kitchen. She checked on each of her children, finding them all still soundly asleep, except for Harry, who was nowhere to be found. Toni's heart skipped a beat, and worry began to gnaw at her as she practically flew down stairs towards the kitchen.

When she entered the kitchen, to her surprise, she found Harry and Alfred cooking breakfast. Both were busy at the stove, expertly flipping pancakes and tending to various pans.

"Good morning, Mistress Toni," Alfred greeted. He glanced at Harry. "Master Harry here insisted on helping me with breakfast."

Harry looked up with a grin. "I told Alfred I wanted to surprise everyone with a big breakfast."

Toni's worry melted away, replaced by a warm sense of pride. "That's wonderful, Harry," she said, walking over to join them. "It smells amazing."

"We're making pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon," Harry announced excitedly.

Alfred nodded approvingly. "Master Harry has quite the knack for cooking."

Toni smiled at Harry. "I didn't know you could cook."

"Well, I had to learn a bit while I lived with the Dursleys," Harry admitted with a shrug. "They weren't exactly the cooking type."

Toni's face darkened at the mention of the Dursleys, but she pushed those thoughts aside for now, focusing on the present moment. "Well, thank you for making breakfast, Harry. I'm sure everyone will love it."

When breakfast was ready, Toni and Alfred helped Harry set the table. As the smells of the delicious meal filled the house, one by one, the rest of the family emerged from their rooms, drawn by the enticing aroma.

Jason was the first to arrive, rubbing sleep from his eyes as he took in the spread. "Wow, what's all this?" he asked, surprised.

"Harry and Alfred made breakfast for everyone," Toni explained.

Jason grinned. "This is awesome! Thanks, Harry!"

Tim and Harley followed closely behind, their eyes lighting up at the sight of the feast. "Everything smells so good!" Tim exclaimed.

Over the next few minutes, Peter, Dick, and Bruce eventually joined the group. "Did you make all this, Harry?" Dick asked, impressed.

Harry nodded, his cheeks flushing with pride. "Alfred helped a lot," he said modestly.

Once everyone was seated, they began to eat, and the kitchen was filled with the sounds of laughter and conversation.

"This is amazing, Harry," Bruce said with a smile. "Thank you for making breakfast for all of us. Would you like to learn more recipes and maybe even cook with Alfred sometimes?"

Harry's eyes lit up. "I'd love that," he replied eagerly.

Alfred nodded approvingly. "It would be my pleasure, Master Harry."

The family finished their breakfast, the kitchen still filled with the lingering aroma of pancakes and bacon. Toni glanced around the table at her boys.

"So, what's the plan for the day, boys?" Toni asked, sipping her coffee.

Jason, always eager for a bit of adventure, was the first to speak up. "I want to show Harry the grounds," he said, his eyes lighting up with excitement.

Dick chimed in next, "I need to get some practice in at the gym. Can I have a couple of friends over?"

Toni and Bruce exchanged a knowing look over their coffee cups. Toni nodded in agreement. "Alright, but no more than three friends, okay?"

Dick grinned, leaning over to kiss her cheek. "Thanks, Mom. You're the best!" he exclaimed, heading up the stairs at a run.

"Come on, Pete, let's go play.” Harley and Tim grabbed Peter and began leading the youngest brother away. "No sticking to the walls or ceiling," Toni whispered to Peter as he passed by, pouting but nodding in agreement.

"And avoid the cave for now," Toni added quietly, leaning into Jason's ear as she watched Harry talking to Alfred and Bruce.

"Got it," Jason replied, giving her a knowing look.

"Good boy," Toni said, watching as Jason dragged Harry out the door.

Alfred, ever perceptive, raised an eyebrow. "You haven't told Master Harry yet?" he asked.

Toni sighed, shaking her head. "Not yet. I don't know how to tell him about... well, everything," she muttered, glancing at Bruce for support.

Bruce placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "We'll figure it out together, Toni," he said softly. "For now, let's give Harry a chance to explore and get to know his brothers better."

Outside, Jason led Harry across the expansive grounds, pointing out various landmarks and hidden spots. "This is the hedge maze," Jason said, guiding Harry towards the entrance. "It's a lot of fun, but also a great place to hide if you ever need some alone time."

Harry looked around in amazement. "This place is huge," he said, taking in the sprawling landscape.

Jason grinned, dragging Harry further along. "Yeah, it's pretty cool. There's a pond over there where we sometimes go fishing, and the stables where we keep the horses."

Back in the house, Toni and Bruce settled into the kitchen, enjoying the rare moment of peace. "You know," Bruce said thoughtfully, "Harry's going to need some time to adjust. But he's strong. I can see it in his eyes."

Toni nodded, her gaze distant. "We need to be patient—and let him come to terms with everything at his own pace. There's so much he hasn't experienced yet. And so much we need to tell him."

Alfred smiled softly as he cleared the dishes. "One step at a time, Mistress Toni. Master Harry has already come a long way. With all of you to support him, I know he'll find his place here."

As they continued their tour of the grounds, Jason led Harry to the stables where several beautiful horses were grazing peacefully. "These are our horses," Jason explained, gently patting the neck of a chestnut mare. "This one is Star. She's my favorite."

Harry reached out to stroke Star's mane, marveling at the gentle creature. "Wow, she's beautiful," he said, feeling a sense of calm wash over him.

Jason grinned and led Harry to another section of the grounds where several dogs were playing. "And these are our dogs," he said, pointing to a group of various breeds. "That's Ace, our German Shepherd, and over there is Sparky, the Labrador."

Ace bounded over to Harry, wagging his tail enthusiastically. Harry knelt down to pet the dog, laughing as Sparky joined in, nuzzling his hand. "These guys are so friendly!"

Jason chuckled. "Yeah, they're great. We also have a few cats, but they're usually off doing their own thing."

As they walked towards the pool area, Harry noticed a massive Saltwater Crocodile lounging in the water.. He froze, his eyes widening in shock.

Before Harry could react, Jason put a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "Oh, that's Cuddles," he said with a grin. "Killer Croc was experimenting and created some massive crocs like him. We found Cuddles wandering around town, and Dick begged until Mom and Dad gave in. And now he's our pet."

Harry couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of having a giant crocodile named "Cuddles" as a pet. "That's... definitely unique," he said, shaking his head in disbelief. "Does he ever cause any trouble?"

Jason shook his head. "Nah, Cuddles is pretty chill. As long as he's got his pool and plenty of food, he's happy."

As the afternoon sun began to dip lower in the sky, Jason turned to Harry with a smile. "Alright, let's go check out the gym. Dick's probably already there, and he can show you some of his moves."

When they arrived at the gym, they found Dick practicing some impressive aerial maneuvers on the trapeze. He looked down and waved at them. "Hey, guys! Come on in!" he called out.

Harry watched in awe as Dick flipped and swung gracefully through the air. "Wow, that's amazing!" he said, genuinely impressed.

Dick landed with a flourish, grinning. "Thanks, Harry.”

The rest of the afternoon was spent in the gym, with the brothers practicing and playing together. Harry felt a sense of accomplishment and camaraderie that he had never experienced before.

As the brothers gathered around after their gym session, Harry began to recount some of his most memorable encounters with magical creatures.

"You guys have some pretty awesome pets, but I think I've had my fair share of interesting experiences at Hogwarts," Harry began with a grin. "Have you ever heard of a Hippogriff?"

Dick and Jason exchanged curious looks and shook their heads. "No, what's a Hippogriff?" Jason asked, intrigued.

Harry's eyes lit up as he launched into his story. "A Hippogriff is a magical creature that's part horse and part eagle. They're incredibly proud and can be pretty dangerous if you don't show them the proper respect. My friend, Hagrid, introduced us to one named Buckbeak during a Care of Magical Creatures class."

Jason leaned in, fascinated. "What happened? Did you get to ride it?"

Harry chuckled. "Yeah, I did. It was a bit nerve-wracking at first because you have to bow to the Hippogriff and wait for it to bow back before you can approach. If you don't, they might attack. But once Buckbeak accepted my bow, I got to ride him, and it was an incredible experience!"

Dick's eyes widened with excitement. "That sounds amazing! What other magical creatures have you encountered?"

Harry thought for a moment before continuing. "Well, during the Triwizard Tournament, I faced a dragon. Each champion had to retrieve a golden egg guarded by a dragon. I had to go up against a Hungarian Horntail, one of the most dangerous breeds. It was intense, but I managed to get the egg and complete the task."

Dick whistled, clearly impressed. "A dragon? That's insane! How did you manage to outsmart it?"

Harry grinned, recounting his strategy. "I used a combination of spells and quick thinking to distract the dragon and get to the egg. It was definitely one of the scariest moments of my life, but also one of the most exhilarating."

Jason nodded in approval. "You really are something else, Harry."

Harry laughed, feeling a sense of camaraderie with his brothers. "Oh, and there's one more. In the Black Lake at Hogwarts, there's a giant Kraken. It's a massive creature with long tentacles that can reach incredible distances. I encountered it during another task in the Triwizard Tournament, where we had to retrieve something precious from the bottom of the lake. The Kraken was one of the obstacles we had to face."

Dick glanced at the clock on the wall and suddenly jumped up. "The others should be here soon!" he exclaimed before dashing out of the room.

Jason stood up and stretched, turning to Harry. "It's probably Wally, Wanda, and KalDur," he said casually.

Harry's heart skipped a beat at the mention of "Wanda." He followed Jason out of the room, his mind racing with thoughts of Wanda Maximoff and their budding friendship. Could it really be her? As they walked, he couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nervousness.

Jason led Harry to the front entrance of Wayne Manor, where they found Dick already waiting. A few moments later, the doorbell rang, and Dick opened the door, revealing three figures standing on the doorstep.

Wally West  was first to burst through the door, his trademark grin plastered across his face. "Hey, everyone! Ready for some fun?" he called out, his voice full of energy.

Next was KalDur who nodded politely. "Hello, everyone," he said.

Dick jumped in. "Guys, this is Harry, our older brother who was kidnapped as a baby—the one I’ve been telling you about,".

However Harry's attention was drawn to the girl standing between the two boys. Wanda her eyes lighting up as she saw Harry standing beside Jason. She gave him a warm smile and waved. "Harry?"

Dick glanced between Harry and Wanda "Wait a minute," he said, "Do you two know each other?"

Wanda's eyes widened, and she turned back to Harry. "Oh, Harry, this is incredible!" she said warmly. "This is the boyfriend I was telling you guys about."

KalDur nodded, a thoughtful look on his face. "We've met before as well. I was the one who confronted Harry in the lake during the second task of the Triwizard Tournament," he explained, a small smile playing on his lips.

Harry gave a small nod, still processing everything.

Wally grinned, giving Harry a playful nudge. "Welcome to the family, Harry! Looks like you've got quite the story."

Feeling a surge of emotions, Harry glanced at Wanda, who smiled reassuringly. "I missed you," he said softly.

Wanda chuckled. "I missed you too.”

Tim's voice broke the moment, filled with disgust. "Are you two going to kiss?" he asked, peering between the stair railings with wide eyes.

Jason rolled his eyes playfully and ruffled Tim's hair. "Come on, little man. Give them some space," he said, gently guiding Tim away from the stairs.

Tim pouted but allowed himself to be led away.

A little bit later Jason glanced at the door "Are they still making out?" he asked, unable to contain his curiosity.

Dick peeked through the crack in the door and immediately wrinkled his nose. "Yeah, they're still making out," he reported with mock disapproval.

Wally muttered under his breath, "Lucky bastard," earning an elbow from Dick.

A short distance away in the manor, Toni was strolling through the hall when she stopped abruptly, spotting Peter clinging to the wall like a spider. "Peter!" she called out in half-exasperation.

Peter grinned down at her, clearly enjoying himself. "Hey, Mama! Check this out!" he said, demonstrating his wall-climbing skills.

Toni sighed, quickly walking over and gently scooping him off the wall. "Peter, what did I tell you about climbing on the walls?" she said.

Peter pouted, protesting, "But it's fun!"

Toni ruffled his hair affectionately. "I know it's fun, Peter, but we have to follow the rules. No climbing on the walls, okay? Let's find something else that's just as fun but a bit safer."

Peter nodded, though still clearly disappointed. "Okay, Mama. But can we play with the dogs instead?"

Toni smiled, nodding. "Of course. Let's go find Ace and Sparky. I'm sure they'll be thrilled to play with you."

Later that evening, the group gathered at the front door as it was time for Wanda, Wally, and KalDur to leave. Harry and Wanda stood close together, holding hands as they said their tearful goodbyes.

"I'll write to you as soon as I get back to school," Harry promised, his voice thick with emotion.

Wanda nodded, her eyes glistening with tears. "I'll be waiting for your letters," she said softly, giving Harry one last hug.

As they embraced, Dick rolled his eyes, muttering under his breath. "They've spent two hours making out on the couch, and now they're acting like they're never going to see each other again."

Jason nodded in agreement, watching the scene with a bemused expression. "Yeah, it's not like they're being separated for years."

Harry and Wanda reluctantly pulled away from each other, sharing one last lingering look before Wanda turned to join Wally and KalDur outside.

KalDur nodded at Harry. "Take care, Harry. We'll see you soon."

Wally grinned. "And don't forget to tell us all about your magical adventures."

With the departure of their guests, the Wayne family settled back into their evening routine. Harry joined his brothers in the living room, Jason giving him a playful nudge. "Alright, lover boy, now that you're done with the tearful goodbye, how about another round of games?"

Harry laughed, feeling a sense of lightness return. "Sounds like a plan."

An hour later Toni approached Harry "Harry, it's time for your checkup with a family friend," she said, leading him into a room where an elderly woman was waiting.

"Hello, Harry," the woman greeted warmly. "I'm Dr. Leslie Thompkins. I'm just going to run some tests on you, alright?"

Harry nodded, feeling a bit nervous but trusting Toni's judgment. Dr. Thompkins began running various tools over him, her expression growing more serious as the results came in. After a few minutes, she turned to Harry with a reassuring smile. "You're free to go, Harry. Thank you for being so patient."

Harry left the room, and Dr. Thompkins turned to Toni with a deep frown. "What is it?" Toni asked, her heart sinking at the look on the doctor's face.

Dr. Thompkins took a deep breath before speaking. "I don't know who's had your boy for the last decade, but they should be thankful I don't get a hold of them. These scans indicate years of abuse—bones being broken multiple times and not set properly, as if they were left as long as possible. There's also severe malnourishment."

Toni sat down, her fists clenching so tightly they turned white with rage.
