Charlie wings

~ A few weeks later ~
It had been a few weeks since Charlie met her aunt. Quite quickly they got into a routine where each was comfortable.
As promised, Adele taught Charlie every day how to control her power as well as get to know her better.
Adele told her many stories about her dad and uncles. She told her about all the embarrassing moments she could think of.
When Charlie had good control over her powers Adelaide took her to various muggle and wizard wards. She didn't begrudge her attractions while dissolving her a bit.
Slowly but surely Charlie was becoming more confident with her powers but it was clear that something was blocking her from gaining full control.
Adele decided to embrace her training more before realizing what was going wrong. She saw that Charlie held control for a period of time before losing it.
Her dad and uncles were doing exactly the same thing. She herself also thought at first that forcing her power would be effective than letting it flow at its own pace.
'' I see the problem as you do little Star. I, your father and uncles made trn same mistake as you '' he said awakening Charlie from meditation
'' Tell me honestly. Do you let your power quietly appear on its own, let it all embrace you and appear in a peaceful dullness. Or do you force it outwardly tormenting yourself with it? '' asked Adelaide
'' I am forcing it out '' she said softly
'' Take a deep breath and close your eyes. Go to your favorite quiet place where you can relax, calm down and be yourself. Find the center of your power but don't move it. Soak up its warmth before it slowly spreads through your body. You will feel as if a warm blanket is surrounding you, " said Adel sitting down opposite her. A few minutes passed before the pink and gold aura enveloped Charlie.
" Good and now slowly let it envelop you like a cocoon " continued Adelaide hoping Charlie's wings would give way.
Charlie did as her aunt said before feeling the warmth envelop her all over before pooling on her back. She opened her eyes quickly feeling not much extra weight on her back.
" Here " said Adel holding up a large mirror.
Charlie barely held back her gasp seeing two pairs of beautiful pink and white wings with a hint of gold in them.
Charlie gently waved them feeling them at first before looking at her auntie sub-extended. Adelaide could see the joy and extritude in Charlie's eyes knowing that she would be able to fly with her.
From that day on, their lessons also included learning to fly. Despite a few skirmishes at first through Charlie's impatience, she quickly learned to fly well. Charlie embraced getting like a duck to swim.
It is apparent that Charlie has Adele and Luci's love of flying and talent. The rest of their siblings were afraid of flying until God dropped them from a high altitude to make them fly.
However, it was known that she or he would catch them before they hit the ground. Charlie's stay with her aunt did not come without meeting her family.
At first, Adeleaide introduced Marvolo, Regulus Sirius and Remus to Charlie. Although she didn't laugh at first Charlie warmed up to them quite quickly.
It took a few days before Adele introduced her to Draco Theo, Blaise, Mattheo, Neville, Pansy, Daphne and Astoria who quickly welcomed her into their group.
They taught Charlie what it means to be a teenager as well as to have fun time and time to do their chores.
Unfortunately, Charlie's stay with Adele did not come without any close encounters with Dumbledore and his men.
As Adelaide expected Dubles spies searched for Charlie or more ''unknown energy'' all over the state without success thanks to Adeleaide wards and her family's activities.
Old Goat called many Wizengmamotu meetings to form search groups at which Adele often appeared. Despite her little show of face, most people listened to her than Dubles who looked like he was slowly losing his thoughts.
Charlie could see why her aunt is considered one of the strongest people in this century. One event allowed Charlie to see how advanced her aunt jesp during a fight that
Adelaide has taken Charlie to some of her favorite restaurants. The Golden Moon Ellipse is one of Adele's favorite places where she takes her friends to dinner. It is also her go to place when she arranges to meet people.
The food there is very good as well as having excellent waiters. You don't have to wait long for the food which is brought to the ciepie within 10 to 15 minutes.
When they finished eating Adele suddenly stiffened and used her mirror to look behind her. She could feel the wards appear and could feel that their line was a piece away from them.
'' Charlie listen to me well '' said Adele
'' Behind me on the left sits six people a picture of a flourescent on horseback. Look at them carefully and remember their faces '' she said knowing after they discovered that Charlie has an almost photographic memory
'' These are Dubledore people who I am sure will follow them to get to me. With the bracelet I gave you I am sure they think you are my muggle friend. We will go to a forest not far away and when I tell you ''run'' you are to run as fast as you can. We need to get to the border of the wards so I can get us out of there. I don't know if the wards will block Yuki, Umbra and Davial from showing up to help us. Don't panic they won't attack us until we are in a public place with a lot of muggles '' she said
'' I understand '' said Charlie feeling a bit of fear but she knew however, that her aunt has the situation under control.
When Adelaide paid the bill they quickly but quietly left the restaurant to make it look like they were in a hurry to go somewhere. As Adele expected the group followed them
'' Run '' said Adele softly before they quickly moved into the woods
'' Bombarda '' said Adele casting a spell over her shoulder
'' Confringo! '' Locomotor Mortis! '' Stupefy! '' Rictusempra! '' Reducto! '' Stupefy! '' shouted the persons
'' Protengo Maxima! '' said Adele blocking the spells that one by one hit the barrier
'' Incarcerous! Don't stop running '' said Adeleaide catching Charlie's arm before they continued running
'' POTTER! '' shouted the man
'' Sectumsempra! '' shouted the woman before the spell hit Charlie, Adele managed to pull her away from the danger
'' Reduco! '' shouted Adele
'' Run forward for a moment more and shout for Yuki! She'll take you home '' she said
'' But '' Charlie tried to deny
'' You can't help me Charlie, you don't have enough experience with your powers. I will be able to focus better on the fight knowing you are safe '' said Adelaide seriously and firmly focusing on her dragon animagus forms allowing her to have tougher and more resilient skin
'' Now you have to run '' added Adele effectively stopping when however Charlie soon ran through the lines of wards they collapsed.
This allowed Umbra and Davial to join their Mistress to assist her in the fight. When Charlie reached home she quickly informed Marvolo, Sirius, Remus and Regulus of what was happening. However, it wasn't long before Adele appeared in the house with a soft cut under her eye
'' Is everything okay? '' she asked pulling her aunt into a hug
'' Everything is fine Charlie. Sirius is an Auror so he will take them in for questioning. It will be known that you are my ward and that they attacked us for no reason. We'll have to lay low for a few days '' said Adalaide
'' Do they often attack you '' she asked uncertainly
'' I don't stay in Britain so no. However, they try to catch me every time they catch sight of me '' replied Adele
'' Why don't you pick a movie and I'll prepare some snacks '' suggested Adele
'' That sounds good '' said Charlie heading to the cabinet where Adel has flippers and flash drives with movies before she decided to pick one
From then on, Adele became more careful about where and when she takes Charlie.
She tried to always have at least Marvolo, Sirius, Remus, Regulus or Barty, Rodolphus, Rabastan with them when traveling.
Knowing that it is better to have another person with her to help. They also began to teach Charlie more also offensive and defensive magic so that she knew how to defend herself.
They also incorporated more self-defense and gymnastics into her training.
Under their tutelage, Charlie became more confident as well as more comfortable with confrontation.
Adele knew that Charlie would always be a kind demon thanks to them, and she would be more ready for when she accepted her place on the throne as the Queen of Hell.
