~ A few days later ~

I turned on my side feeling the person next to me. I knew it was Charlie who liked to sleep with me every now and then.
We were getting closer to the time when I would be able to send her back to my brother.
We've gotten very close over the last few weeks. I know it will take time for me to wean her from her presence with me.
However, it is better for her because Dumbledore is becoming more and more determined to find her. We recently had a close encounter with him alone.
I managed to get us away at the last minute before he noticed us. I knew it was becoming increasingly dangerous for Charlie to be here.
As long as Dumbles is in power she is not safe here. Fortunately, today is a full moon together and we have everything prepared. We have to wait until the moon hits its highest point before I can open the portal back to Hell.
I rose carefully so as not to wake her up before looking at my desk. Lying on it was a small normal looking box. It contained a locket for Charlie that I had been working on for some time.
I sighed softly before heading to the closet to grab some new clothes. It seems we still have so much to do and so little time. I looked at the clock and was surprised that I had slept so long.
I always got up around 8 a.m. but seeing that it was 10 a.m. in 15 minutes surprised me. We had exactly 14 hours to effectively prepare for the opening to have 15 minutes to be ready with the ritual.
I stepped into the warm shower and sighed as my muscles relaxed under the warm water. I was in the shower like that for a few minutes feeling the lack of motivation to turn it off.
I washed my hair as well as added conditioners which I rinsed out after a few minutes. I wrapped my hair in a towel before toweling it off.
When I got dressed I did a quick grooming of my skin and hair after my shower.
I didn't put on any government makeup not feeling the need to have any, I'm at home with Charlie. I rarely wear makeup, mostly where I go to some parties or formal balls.
When I came out of the bathroom I laughed softly seeing that Charlie was still asleep. Umbra took advantage of my non-presence and took my place. Charlie howled cuddled up in his soft fur treating him a bit like a teddy bear. I shook my head leaving the room. I headed to the kitchen to make us some breakfast and to check that we had everything for dinner and lunch. When I was sure we had everything I started making our breakfast. First I made breakfast for Yuki, Umbra and Diaval before I washed what I was using. I made another breakfast for me and Charlie. I hummed the songs that were coming from the radio before I started singing completely focused so as not to burn what I had in the pan.

'' Good morning sleepyhead '' I said hearing her soft footsteps.
Over the past weeks with me, Charlie has become more confident and assertive. I have helped her with her self-esteem as well as being kind as well as serious at the same time.
Thanks to my training, she can defend herself well as move more gracefully as well as elegantly.
She can be really quiet if she wanted to. She tried to scare me a few times, but due to the fact that my magic informs me if something is approaching me and I can sense auras, she never succeeded.
I smiled softly before putting the food on the plates which Charlie took from my hands after a while
'' Very good, how about you? '' she replied before heading to the dining room.
I took the rest of the buffet and followed her
'' I had nice company who joined me in the middle of the night so I can say I slept very well '' I replied with a smile
'' I'm sorry '' she said bowing her head
'' Don't worry about it little devil. Your dad and uncles did the same as you even when they were much older than you '' I replied recalling how many times I woke up with one or more of my brothers in my bed
'' For real? '' she asked surprised
'' True, no matter if they had a bad dream or just wanted to sleep with me. I was their personal plushie '' I replied laughing a little

'' Everything is ready for me to send you back home '' I replied gently
'' Are you sure you won't be able to walk with me. I know dad and the rest of our family will be happy to see you again '' she said
'' I don't know if that is possible Char, besides it has been more than 10,000 years since my death. We don't know how they would react to my reappearance. We also don't know how it would affect me '' I replied gently but seriously
'' But still '' she said
'' Charlie '' I said firmly before sighing
'' I'll go through the portal with you but I don't promise anything '' I said finally
'' Stubborn like our whole family '' I thought with a smile as she squealed with happiness
'' Come on we have some things to do before the moon is in the right position '' I said standing up

'' Very good,'' I said grabbing two glasses of water before giving her one. I didn't expect our magic to react the way it did
'' What was that? '' she asked herself
'' Sometimes the magic doesn't depend on the emotions of its caster. We used a lot of emotion in the song to emphasize its meaning and our magic reacted to it. It's nothing hard to fix '' I said before waving my nagarstick.
All the mess that was created during our little duet disappeared in a blink of an eye. Charlie smiled at me before pulling me into a strong hug
