My dearest doll,

much has happened since my last letter. Faced with continuous harassment and threats, the she-wolf has taken a stance against the hunting pack. The pup remains firmly on her side and ours, and his connections to the new crew could prove useful. The she-wolf’s housekeeper is confirmed dead, offically in an accident. I doubt it, and begin to suspect the identity of a ghost the pup has complained of, but I cannot be sure without visiting myself, and I would rather keep a low profile. I don’t trust the man who sold the house- I suspect he has contacts in the big families.

Speaking of the big families, the little mice’s guilt remains neither proven nor unproven. I am inclined to believe that the brother mouse was hunting his cousin, a follower of the she-wolf’s, with the intent to silence him, implying guilt. However, it appears that situation has been peacefully resolved. Mice and wolf have gone back to their respective lives.

The recent changes in the big families’ modus operandi concerns me. I believe their new allies are both more vicious and more ambitious than we assumed. I know your hunter thinks several missing persons cases can be traced back to them. I hope we’re not looking at another altar situation in the making. If either of you find anything, please let me know. I know I wanted to stay out of it last time, but this may concern friends of mine directly.

On a lighter note, the new oven is installed and working! There are a lot of dials, which precisely regulate everything from temperate to airflow. The batch of scones I sent with this letter were made in it. I hope you and your hunter enjoy them!

Best wishes,

O.

Dear Sir or Madam,

your advice concerning the haunting in my apartment is most appreciated. I have enclosed compensation for your time within this letter.

I am afraid I have no knowledge regarding the recent disappearances around the Hangleton area. However, I mentioned the matter to Mr V. Valentine, an associate of mine who may be able to help you further. As I understand, he will be in contact with you shortly.

Thank you again. If there is anything else you require, please do not hesitate to ask.

Yours sincerely,

Juliet Capulet

Target escaped. Will be gone longer than expected. Might see about meeting with the elder Denholm brother while I’m in the area. Keep me updated on the pack dispute. New scarf is for you.

Hope to see you soon.

My dearest doll,

your reveal of the big families’ new allies is greatly concerning. These people were quite vicious towards the end of the conflict eight years ago. I am in favour of reaching out to our dead housekeeper’s brother. I still have not had any opportunity to communicate with the house’s ghost, though I hear the new crew was hired and identified its type.

I would love to visit again- you never need an excuse to invite me, or to come over yourself. I will be there on Saturday at 6pm.

My friend says hello back, and also that you shouldn’t waste your time with such unnecessary guestures, but don’t be discouraged- I can tell he was pleased.

Best wishes,

O.

Mr Hunter,

I don’t know why you care or if I can trust you but any infomation you can give me is welcome. I can pay well. Police have dismiseed all my concerns. Said my brother died in a freak accident. I’m not that gullible and I’m glad you aren’t either.

Sincerely,

Xornoth Denholm
