Dear Occlus,
my hunter shares your concerns regarding the big families and their new allies, which I can confirm are the followers of a troublesome man who caused much grief for the wanded community before his disappearance eight years ago. We believe them to be responsible for a number of things and are currently enquiring as to the whereabouts of several missing children. It is the same pattern we saw with the altar, and I pray that it is not too late.
We are not the only ones concerned with the housekeeper’s absence. His older brother appears to be searching for him, and regards the big families with suspicion. My hunter is considering reaching out to him. Of course, we are always cautious in what we reveal to people, but I belive that collaboration is in our best interest here.
I am glad to hear the new oven has been a success. Thank you for the scones. They were indeed lovely, and I was able to persuade my hunter to take the time for a picnic in the garden.
It would be nice to see you again, and in light of recent developments, I believe I have sufficient reason to invite you over for supper. How does Saturday, the 23rd, sound to you?
