He walked over to Yeonjun, crouching down he noticed he had his eyes closed. Fear creeped into his mind hoping he had not beat him to a pulp that he passed out and died. Anxiety boiling he shook him a bit making sure he hadn't killed him, "Are you okay?" Yeonjun groaned in pain but slowly opened his eyes

"Well considering I got my ass kicked for a second time I would say I'm doing fantastic!" He slowly got up which allowed Soobin to see the damage, he looked worse this time but not horrible that he would need to be bed ridden which was a beautiful sign that he hadn't broken anything this time.

"What happened? The last thing I remember is you grabbing my collar" Soobin stared at Yeonjun fear plastered in the younger's eyes. He actually blacked out which was something he was terrified of whenever it happened, being out of control of his own mind and body was terrifying.

"You beat the shit out of me. I'm pretty sure that is apparent by my obvious bloody nose. You blacked out clearly, once again your anger clouds your mind." Yeonjun groaned in pain as he touched the side of his torso. Soobin stared at the boy but noticing the bloody nose he looked away he did not want another bloody nose running situation to happen.

"Are you some sadist? You're avoiding me to not get hard again" Yeonjun limped a bit as he walked closer to Soobin grabbing his face forcibly to stare at the bloody nosed boy. "Look at me" Yeonjun's nose was bloody but thankfully it did not look broken nor was it gushing blood.

Soobin closed his eyes tightly he did not want to give Yeonjun the satisfaction of believing that so to avoid it all together not looking at the boy seems like the right answer.

"I said look at me" Yeonjun growled under his breath clearly frustrated that Soobin wouldn't cooperate with his childish ideas of him.

"No, I'm not a sadist who gets off to beating the shit out of you so i'll just look away from the mess I made of your face" he held his eyes tightly not allowing himself to look up. He was scared of Yeonjun being right even if deep down he had no actual desires such as that. Soobin would rather shit in his hands and clap than ever let Yeonjun be right.

Yeonjun let go of Soobin's face and instead of opening his eyes Soobin still closed them tightly. Soobin could tell Yeonjun was staring at him but he didn't say anything. Suddenly he heard shuffling and then footsteps causing him to open his eyes to no one there but him. Exhaling a breath he did know he was holding Soobin grabbed his backup waiting a few minutes before making his way home.

"Eomma I'm home" He yelled enthusiastically as he entered his house. If he tried to ignore his mother he knew his mother would freak out so tackling this head first is the only answer.

"Welcome back bi– What happened to your face!" His mother rushed to grab his face examining it with worry and fear in her eyes. Soobin winced at the contact of his sore face that he forgot was in deed probably busted and more noticeable than last time.

"I...I fell" He had to lie to his mother how can he explain he is all fucked up because he beat the shit out of his wannabe bully while blacking out halfway through it? Answer is he cannot.

"Fell my ass. Choi soobin what happened. Are you getting bullied again? I'm going to your school tomorrow" His mother started to tear up, Soobin's heart broke a little at the sight of his devastated mother.

"No! Eomma I promise you from the bottom of my heart I am not getting bullied. I just got into a scuffle with someone that went a little too far but it wont happen again I promise you" Soobin reached for his mother's face wiping her tears away as he hugged him

"What are you going to tell appa? You know he's a hot head he's going to go mad knowing someone hit you, bully or not" Shit he forgot how intense his dad is... truly a blessing and a curse to have parents that give a little too much of a fuck about him.

"I'll tell him the truth which is exactly what I told you" Soobin smiled hoping that would ease his mom's pain "Please don't be upset eomma" He flashed her puppy dog eyes while forcing his dimple out. This was his "I'm sorry" look that always worked.

She sighed before pulling him into a tight hug "Soobin-ah you know eomma loves you dearly right? I wont stand anyone puting their hands on my baby. I believe you and I'll break the news to appa so he doesn't go berserk. For now go to bed and fix yourself with the first aid" She broke the hug kissing him on the cheek.

"Okay eomma" He started to walk away before turning around "I won by the way. His face looks worse than mine" his mother chuckled at that.

"Of course you did, appa is a taekwondo teacher he would be more pissed if you lost. Goodnight binnie"

Soobin bowed before heading to his room immediately going to the bathroom to see the damage. It was pretty intense but his face looked 10 times better than Yeonjun's he only had a busted lip and some bruises that weren't too dark. Staring at himself he didn't like what he was seeing even if he won. He has used violence against Yeonjun twice, even if today was self defense.

"I promise I wont hit him ever again even if that means getting my shit rocked" Soobin whispered to himself as he started treating his lip by putting ointment on it.

The statement would be true as the remaining month of school Yeonjun stopped berating Soobin. To be specific he stopped entirely interacting, acknowledging, or being near Soobin. It was a weird shift of getting ridiculed everyday to nothing at all. Not even a glance at him absolutely nothing. It was as if Soobin were a ghost and Yeonjun truly could not see him. It was a weird and uncanny situation to not interact with Yeonjun even if it was negative one.

"Dude is Yeonjun going to kill himself or something?" Beomgyu asked walking side by side of Soobin down the hall. Thanks to him he pulled Soobin out his thoughts which have consisted of Yeonjun and his sudden change every day since their fight.

"What are you even talking about" Soobin laughed entering the cafeteria. He quickly scanned around the room trying to spot the person he disliked more than spicy food.

"He literally has not bothered you in actual weeks and he graduates in like 3 days. It's weird and out of character like suicidal people before they commit" they walked to the lunch line grabbing a plate as they waited to get their portion.

Hearing Beomgyu also acknowledge the fact Yeonjun has been acting weird confirmed that he wasn't the only one seeing this. He also started to think about what Beomgyu was trying to insinuate and while normally that would be a good hypothesis he couldn't bring himself to agree.

"Maybe he just had a change of heart after getting his ass beat again" Soobin seen the two other boys enter the cafeteria signaling for them to join them.

"Hey hyungs! God I'm starving today" Hueningkai said pouting while rubbing his stomach like it would make him feel better. Kai is actually starting to grow so his hunger levels have been more and more recently.

"You always are Hyuka" Taehyun grabbed his plate while playfully pushing Kai out of the way resulting in an even more pouty Kai.

"I was telling binnie that I think Yeonjun is suicidal" Taehyun's eyebrows raised while Hueningkai started to laugh loudly causing people to stare at them. Soobin bowed down apologizing for the loudness surrounding them.

"He graduates in 3 days I doubt he would kill himself now, but why would you think that?" Taehyun asked as they moved up the line putting their potion of lunch on their plates now.

"He hasn't bothered Soobin in weeks it's weird. Like I'm happy of course but it doesn't make sense to me especially because they fought again" Beomgyu was obviously very passionate about this as he spoke quickly barely catching a breath.

Soobin tuned the rest of their debate out due to the fact he was now in deep thought. Yeonjun simply couldn't be suicidal that doesn't make sense but he was in fact acting out of character by not being mean to him. He spent 6 years doing it and now this is the first time in years that they haven't talked during school. Yeonjun got into SNU which pissed Soobin off because that has been his dream college for as long as he learned what colleges were. He knew Yeonjun wasn't dumb from the fact he is his classes valedictorian but SNU smart was not something he expected, this only fueled Soobin's drive to do even better next year.

"Earth to our great giant" Taehyun snapped in front ofSoobin's face drawing him out of his thoughts

"What?" he started poking at his food reluctant to take a bite

"We were asking you what you thought about it?" Taehyun's eyebrows raised again

"My thoughts are I'm free and whatever happens to that man has nothing to do with me" Soobin started to eat his food which was followed by light chuckles from the three in front of him. He wasn't lying he did not have to worry about fighting, arguing, and being made fun of anymore anyone in his position would be happy. So why does it feel like he was faking it?

"That's true hyung, but you've looked down since he stopped don't tell me you have Stockholm syndrome now" Beomgyu picked up a fry and threw it at soobin's face.

"Don't throw a greasy ass fry on my beautiful face Beomgyu. And you are very much wrong i've been thriving matter of fact. I don't need to go round three with him clearly" grabbing his milk he took a sip of it looking up and seeing Yeonjun laughing with his big group of friends. He stared a bit longer than he should have because Yeonjun looked over but as quickly as he did he averted his gaze again laughing at whatever was just said.

"My god you actually do" Taehyun picked up a fry and threw it at Soobin's face "You're going to burn a hole in his face" Soobin wiped his face from the salt and grease that were stuck on his face thanks to these two.

"You guys are going to make me break out and no I really don't I was just...spacing out" turning his gaze to his food he started to eat again not wanting to continue this conservation. He doesn't miss Yeonjun and what they are saying is made up like everything else they say about him.

"Right and Hueningkai is gay" Beomgyu said which caused them all to laugh at his joke. Kai pulled his hair back behind his ears and started fluttering his eyes rapidly.

"Who know's he might if he keeps hanging around us" Soobin said jokingly pinching Kai's cheek

"I'm only gay for my anime boys anything else is a hard pass sorry hyungs" He held up an X with his arms resulting in more laughter from the boys.

Beomgyu started belly laughing loudly causing the three others to follow along. Beomgyu and Kai's laugh could make any and everyone laugh due to how ridiculous it sounded and worst of all they always laugh. Soobin spaced off again thinking about Yeonjun which was something he found himself doing more and more. He hated it but no matter how much he tried to push the elder out of his mind he kept creeping back in.

The last remaining weeks went smoothly, Yeonjun graduated weeks before they left school due to the fact he was a senior so the school has been quiet since the seniors left. All the boys did great on their finals especially Soobin he got an 100 on every single final he took securing his number one spot still. Soobin eventually got over thinking about Yeonjun and focused solely on having fun with his friends while preparing for the next school year.
