Years later would pass and Soobin held onto that vow of friendship very seriously. He could confidently say Beomgyu was his best friend and enjoyed the title of being his as well. Because of that Soobin has to endure the constant "bullying" from Yeonjun. For Yeonjun he might think he is bullying him but Soobin is only sparing him the ass whopping he could give him any day now.
Yeonjun's perseverance to be an asshole to Soobin daily is impeccable he did not miss a single day of some sort of berating. Soobin was now 16 meaning Yeonjun was 17 still holding on to a 6 year old grudge... pathetic is all Soobin could describe Yeonjun. Sure he is popular, has good grades as well, very sociable, blah blah that didn't hide from the fact that he is a pathetic loser in Soobin's eyes.
Beomgyu has successfully infiltrated his friends onto Soobin because they are a package deal. Their friend group consisted of four people in total Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun and Hueningkai. Taehyun and Kai are only 6 months apart and are freshman's while Beomgyu and Soobin were juniors. Beomgyu had befriended them due to them being in the band club together. Soobin did not mind Kai and Taehyun he actually enjoyed being their friends they were really sweet and funny to hangout with.
"Where's your boyfriend" That pathetic voice breached his ears causing him to lose focus while studying.
Soobin ignored Yeonjun who was now sitting directly in front of him clearly trying to provoke Soobin. Usually Soobin would just grab his stuff and walk away but he really needs to study he has a midterms soon that he could not fail. Junior year was deeming harder than what he had initially expecting it to be, he has kept being number 1 in the whole school for years now and he wont stop until he gets valedictorian no matter what.
"I asked you a question Choi" Yeonjun placed his hands over the paper Soobin was writing on. Anger started to flow through his body Soobin was beyond stressed and sleep deprived the last thing he needs is this fucking asshole disturbing his studying.
"Fuck off" Soobin started to shake his leg which was not a good sign once he starts to do this he knows it's only a matter of seconds before he explodes. Feeling the sense of urgency Soobin started to pack up quickly in hopes he did not do anything to break his 6 year streak of non-violence against Yeonjun.
Yeonjun grabbed Soobin by the wrist forcibly causing him to turn around before he could run out.
"Who the fuck do you think you are talking to like that loser? Show some respect" the now angry Yeonjun held onto Soobin's wrist tighter while staring so intensely into Soobin's eyes he could almost feel the heat from it on his iris.
The thing is Soobin is quite literally at his breaking point and any sense he could have are slowly being kicked out the door. They aren't even in the school building they are outside so technically Soobin could dog walk him without any disciplinary action but Beomgyu popped into his head which caused him to slowly start to calm down. Forcibly pulling his hand down Yeonjun's grip went away as he freed himself from his grasp.
"Don't touch me you pathetic fucking loser. I genuinely don't understand how you have soooo much fucking free time in the world to berate me. You're a fucking senior for God's sake you have colleges to apply to and look forward to yet I occupy so much fucking space in that little brain of yours for the last 6 years... news flash we aren't 10 and 11 anymore. Grow up." Soobin inched closer with every sentence he said spilling how he has felt over the last 6 years to Yeonjun.
Yeonjun started to laugh really loudly tears daring to spill out of his eyes. Then he stopped abruptly wiping a fake tear from his eyes and he started to inch closer and closer to Soobin.
"You...wow man you really know how to make someone laugh. You call me pathetic and a loser yet those are the two things you are synonymously known for. You are a nobody who acts like he is hot shit. Your ego is so suffocating that you made me to be the fucking villian in your fucked up brain. You may be academically smart but you sure are a fucking dumbass out of the books man. You are quite literally nothing to me, you are on the same level as an ant which is why I step on you because you deserve to be stepped on. Knock you down the fucking high horse you are riding on. God you really are a fucking loser" Yeonjun was hitting Soobin's chest with his pointer finger during each sentence he finished.
Soobin could not hold back longer as much as he vowed and cared for Beomgyu his anger forsakes all. Before Soobin could process anything he swung back and landed a clean hit on Yeonjun's face causing the elder to step back in pain. Holding his cheeks it took
Yeonjun a second to process what happened before staring at Soobin and he was also throwing a punch. Soobin was fast enough to block it so with that he punched Yeonjun again but this time in the stomach. Yeonjun clearly in pain still took the punch and as if it was intentionally he swung again this time actually landing on Soobin's cheek. The pain caused Soobin to get even angrier which was not a good sign, someone save him before he kills this man.
Swinging again Soobin cocked back hard and aimed at Yeonjun's face which landed with a very loud smack. The punch caused Yeonjun to stumbled back and blood started to leak down Yeonjun's nose. The sight of blood caused Soobin to get back into reality...what was he doing? He broke his vow. Soobin stared at Yeonjun's dishelved state and once again at his nosebleed, he is objectively an attractive guy and for some reason it clicked in his head that he was. The sight he was seeing was a Yeonjun beaten up and leaking from his nose this was a sight he did not expect to see. Soobin started to feel hot...was it from the fighting? No because something was not right. Before he could process anything he quickly grabbed his things and ran away. Soobin realized he had a fucking boner.
