HARRY – Waking up at Malfoy Manor

Harry Potter woke up and immediately frowned.

He had a very nice dream, he thought; he dreamt about his godfather, Sirius, coming to Privet Drive and inviting him to live together with him. Last year he almost left the Dursleys, after thirteen excruciatingly long years, but his wish didn't come true. He found his godfather, whom he thought was a servant of Voldemort, but turned out to be innocent; yet the real man responsible for his parents' demise, their ex-friend Wormtail, had escaped, leaving Sirius with nothing to prove his innocence. Harry helped Sirius escape, and he was hiding in Africa according to his last letters; but Harry was disappointed, since the possibility of leaving Dursleys was never closer.

Alas, it was how it was, and Harry spent another year with the Dursleys. Fortunately, they were afraid of his jailbreaking godfather, and his life improved noticeably. But he still didn't like it, and when he came to Hogwarts, he felt himself longing to meet Sirius again.

His dream wasn't a reason for his frown; it was, after all, quite a nice dream. No, something else seemed weird to Harry. He was lying in a rather large bed, which wouldn't be shocking per se; beds in Gryffindor dormitories weren't small either. This bed, however, seemed larger than his usual ones. Harry frowned again. Something strange is going on.

The room around him was in complete darkness, and it was eerily quiet. Another strange thing. Usually, some sounds would be heard in the dormitory; Ron's snoring was perhaps most prevalent, but other sounds were there as well, and never in the four years that Harry has been going to Hogwarts was his room so quiet. Neither was it so dark.

He frowned for the third time and searched for his wand. Luckily, it was there. He smiled.

"Lumos!“

A jet of light suddenly made the room much brighter and Harry frowned harder than ever before. This was, most certainly, not his room. His usual room consisted of five beds, where his friends Ron, Neville, Dean, and Seamus were sleeping. Lots of books, notebooks and other things were there as well. This room was empty, with no one inside. No friend of his were here and no other bed was in this room. No books, no notebooks, no clothes, no suitcases, no brooms.

Harry frowned for the fifth time. He was starting to feel worried.

This room was, however, much more beautiful than his dormitory in Gryffindor Tower. He was lying on a large bed, wearing more comfortable robes than he'd ever seen before. Looking around, he noticed the room was rather large and spacious, with many paintings across the walls and a magnificent crystal chandelier which was obviously highly expensive. But something else made his breath stop. In the wall against the bed, there was a portrait of a man he knew quite well. A portrait of a man he didn't like, at all. A portrait of a proud aristocrat, with long blond hair and a snake-shaped wand in his right hand.

A portrait of one Lucius Malfoy.

Harry's heart stopped. What the hell was he doing in Lucius Malfoy's bedroom? He was thinking quickly. Last night he talked with Ron a bit and then went to sleep… in Gryffindor Tower… in Hogwarts. He was now in Malfoy Manor. Thanks to Draco's constant boasting, he knew Malfoys live in a magnificent manor in Wiltshire, which was in South West England. He travelled across the whole island, it would seem.

He got out of bed and stood up, thinking what to do next. He had a wand, but would it be of any help? Draco was likely in Hogwarts still, he knew – the first time he was jealous of that bully – but his parents were in the manor. Lucius Malfoy, one of the most powerful people in the country, and his wife Narcissa Malfoy, a member of the Black family. Yeah… brilliant.

He noticed three doors were leading out of his room. He also noticed a mirror. Perhaps he should see how he looks and decide what to do after.

He walked up to the mirror and his heart stopped again.

In the mirror he saw the face of one Lucius Abraxas Malfoy.
