Chapter 2
"Mister Stark!"
"Mister Stark! Over here!"
"Mister Stark! Are the rumors true-"
"Mister Stark! People have spotted you with two young children! Who are they!?" Tony sighed. The paparazzi had spotted his Nephews. They had hid from the public for as long as possible, but they had known they would eventually catch wind of something.
They had been hoping to just brush it off, to claim it a hoax, but somehow someone had managed to get a photo of them, thankfully without their faces, but unfortunately it was enough to prove that they were in fact related to him. Which was why he was here. Unfortunately.
Clapping his hands together he got everyones attention and started the long-winded and annoying, but unfortunately nessecary, speech. "Alright! Since all questions seem to be along the similar lines of who the children are, let's start with that! As you all know, due to being shot while in Britain my mother, Maria Stark, was unable to give birth to a child. However, she had always wanted a child. That is why, after recovering, she and my father made the decision to go to a nearby orphanage and adopted me."
Questions began to spring up again, asking how this was related to the reason they were here.
"I am not done, thank you very much.”
The room froze.
"That's what I thought. Now, despite that common knowledge, what many do not realise is that I was not an only child before I was adopted." Chaos erupted at that, people asking questions left and right. Soon realizing that Tony wasn't going to answer their questions they began to settle once more.
"Honestly people, you know the drill. You want me to talk, you don't talk. Continuing on, I had two siblings. And elder sister and brother. Birth date in that order. Despite being separated, we still contacted each other. Eight years ago my sister got into a car crash. My Brother died in a fire not long after due to his job. These two incidents were not related in anyway." He added that part so that none would think that somebody could be targeting the kids and try to use that to get close to them.
He continued on.
"But that left the responsibility of raising my sister's twin sons to me, a responsibility I have taken seriously. I ask that you leave these children alone and allow them to grow up as normal kids.”
Then, done with his speech, he walked out of the room and into his car ignoring the wave of reporters following him.
Thankfully they couldn't see into his car. He didn't pay a couple thousand dollars on each car tinting the windows for nothing. Not that it made a scratch in his finances. He sighed, telling his driver to go. He then turned to face the two other people in his car.
"So, how was it uncle?"
