"I kissed a boy"

It didn’t take long for Luna’s advice to come in handy. Before Harry knew it he was once again pushed up against the wall of his and Draco’s joint room with Draco’s wand pointed at his throat. In hindsight Harry supposed that he’d gotten himself into this position, after all he had made a rather rude comment to Draco, though it did seem that upsetting Draco was getting easier and easier as time went on.

Draco stood over Harry talking his ear off with his usual Pure Blood snobbery that he did anytime Harry pissed him off but Harry couldn’t (or rather didn’t want to) focus on what Draco was saying. All Harry could think about was how hot Draco was at this moment. Harry found himself looking back and forth between Draco’s eyes and lips wondering what Draco’s lips would feel like on his own. “Are you even listening to me!” Draco yelled, cutting into Harry’s daydream. Instead of answering Draco’s question Harry decided to use the advice Luna had given him.

Harry slowly slid his hand around Draco’s waist and pulled the tall boy closer to him, his gaze now fixated on Draco’s lips. Harry felt Draco’s wand dig into his skin more and more. All at once the emotions Draco had felt for Harry that he had been bottling up since they met came spilling out of him. Draco pulled his wand from Harry’s throat slightly and slid his hand to the back of Harry’s neck and pulled him into a passionate kiss.

When the two finally broke apart Draco stumbled back a bit, putting his hand to his lips with a look of shock on his face and running out of their dorm room as quickly as possible. Harry couldn’t help but feel bad about Draco’s reaction. He’d never felt so alone before, he had no friends from his own house, he was far away from the only people he’d ever known and now his roommate probably hated him… or rather confirmed his hatred for him. Harry slumped down against the wall and sat on the floor with small tears welling up in his eyes.

The next day during potions class Luna could tell that something was wrong with Harry. “Harry, what’s wrong?” Luna asked, in the same absent minded tone of voice she always had. “Nothing’s…” Harry glazed over at Draco and then back at Luna, “Nothing’s wrong, Luna.” Harry said unconvincingly. Luna’s attention was now laser focused on Harry. “Harry, you can’t possibly think that I believe that.” Luna scolded. “Look it’s…” Harry glazed at Draco once more, “It’s complicated, I don’t want to talk about it.” Harry said, looking down at his hands. Luna turned her head to see who Harry kept looking at, “Ah, I see. Well, if it’s any consolation…” Luna said while leaning closer to Harry, “Draco’s a fool for not wanting to be with you.” Luna whispered. Harry chuckled a little and gave Luna a small smile. “Thanks, Lunes, that helps.” Harry replied before refocusing his attention on the lesson.
