It's All Greek to Me
Summary
The tale of the longstanding love-hate relationship between Alpha Sigma Phi and Omega Chi
Note
I'm doing another chaptered work because clearly I am a glutton for punishment. I am not a part of Greek life and am definitely making up a lot of this as I'm going along for plot purposes, so feel free to chime in in the comments. This first chapter is short mostly to serve as an introduction. More of our beloved favorite characters will make an appearance next chapter. I'm never really sure what to say in the author's note so yeah enjoy!

Suguru was in the midst of pitching an idea for their next upcoming social event when he’s rudely interrupted. While he may not be an executive member, he still took his duties as the Social Chair seriously. Planning events to bring in money for their fraternity and charming people to actually show up to them was a big job and he was the perfect candidate for the position. He was discussing with Ino, their Philanthropy Chair, and Mei-Mei, their treasurer, and ironing out any possible kinks in their plan.

An annoying, grating voice interrupts them. “Guys, come quick! Somebody vandalized our flag!”

That gets everyone out of their seats and rushing to the front yard. The Alpha Sigma Phi flag that hung up in front of their house proudly bearing their name and Greek letters had bright green spray paint covering it. The vandal had made bold lines striking through the Sigma Phi and had replaced it with LIGMA BALLS. They all stare at it in disbelief.

“Who could’ve done this?”

“Do you think it was Omega Chi? Have we done anything to piss them off lately?”

Nothing recent they had done came to Suguru’s mind immediately but those Omegas were a very feisty and vengeful bunch. They were probably better suited letting Yuki handle any possible issues with their sister sorority. She had preached to them about the importance of repairing their strained and frankly terrible relationship with Omega Chi.

Kusakabe puffs his chest out in a poor display of dominance. “There’s only one way to find out.”

He walks determinedly in the direction of the Omega Chi house leaving the rest of them with the options of either going back inside, which Mei-Mei does with no hesitation or following him to see the trainwreck unfold. Geto’s schedule had already been thrown off and he felt like he had earned himself a little entertainment.

“Kusakabe, wait!” Ino tries to grab the older Alpha’s arm but he’s shaken off.

Kusakabe bangs on the front door. Here we go.

Showing up out of the blue, in tandem with a confrontational attitude could only spell trouble. Suguru didn’t really care much for Kusakabe or his personality to be honest. He was just along for the ride and couldn’t wait to see how this blew up spectacularly in their faces. Maybe he would record it and show it to Satoru later.

They’re not kept waiting long before the door is snatched open aggressively.  The show was about to begin.

Choso, Haibara, and Utahime stand in the threshold looking disgruntled and very annoyed. Their anger was practically radiating off of them and they wasted no time.

“Who the fuck do you think you are to come banging on our door like?”

“Wow it’s clear none of you were raised with any goddamn manners!”

“Just looking at you sorry bunch is pissing me off. You’re interrupting something very important.”

Suguru feels his eyes grow wider with each statement. While Omega Chi was known for taking no shit, they were never this outwardly aggressive, especially not at the beginning of an interaction. Something else is clearly at play here and Suguru couldn’t help but wonder what.

A light breeze blows by carrying the Omegas scents outside and everything makes a little more sense. They were in preheat.

While Suguru was no Omega he knew from past biology classes that preheat symptoms included cramps, mild fever, elevated annoyance and emotions running high among many other ailments. The more Omegas around each other the more likely they were for their cycles to sync. Living in a house full of Omegas he could only imagine how hellish their preheat week looked. If there was one thing they were warned as Alphas to never do it was—

“Oh geez, are you all on your cycle?”

Never bring up or mention it out loud because not only was it incredibly rude, it tended to trigger more aggression. Nice going Kusakabe, you total moron. Suguru wouldn’t blame them if one of them slapped the disrespectful Alpha.

“I’ll fucking kill you.” Haibara’s angelic face combined with hostile words sent a thrill down his spine. “Do you wanna die?”

“Take it easy. We just came here to ask you a simple question. Did you vandalize our flag?” Wow, Kusakabe was really digging his grave here. He was much dumber than anyone could’ve ever guessed.

Choso looked ready to kill that idiot where he stood. “Don’t tell us to take it easy when you showed up to an omega den unannounced. And if you haven’t noticed most of us are in pre-heat so we haven’t left the house or been anywhere near your dumbass flag.”

A flash of blonde slides into the door frame next to the other three and Suguru recognizes Nanami. He did not like the look in those hazel eyes as they focused on him. He was here to be a bystander, not a victim of their wrath.

“Hey you, give this back to your stupid friend and get the hell out of here. Next time don’t show up here with an invitation or head’s up.” The blonde throws a bundle of black at Suguru then slams the door shut with finality. Suguru catches with ease and can’t help but be a little amused. He now had fresh ammunition to tease Satoru. Well he would after he questioned him of course. My, my Satoru has been busy. Giving an Omega in pre-heat some of his clothes? Just what had he been up to and when had his and the blonde’s tumultuous relationship changed?

“.......guess it wasn’t them.”

They walk back to their house in complete silence. By the time they make it back to their house Yuki and Satoru are in the front yard examining the flag. They were both still wearing their backpacks, clearly having just returned from class.

“Hey guys, have you–” Yuki pauses at the sight of them. “Why do you all look like that?”

“We went over to the Omega Chi to ask them if they did that to our flag and Kusakabe made them really mad.”

Yuki stares at them in horror. “You did WHAT?!”

“They’re all in pre-heat right now! You can’t just show up over there!” Satoru stresses. Suguru doesn’t bother concealing his smirk. Yeah, he was sure Satoru was very aware of that fact.

“Well we certainly know that now. Catch.” Suguru tosses the jacket back to its rightful owner. “A certain angry blonde told me to give this back to my ‘stupid friend’ and I presume that’s you.”

Satoru clutches the fabric to his chest and groans. “I was finally starting to get him to like me and you guys just undid all my progress.”

“Now we as a fraternity owe them an apology for invading their den on top of dealing with Alpha Kappa Lambda,” Yuki groans.

“What do they have to do with this?” Kusakabe was dumber than a box of rocks and Suguru was quickly tiring of his presence.

“It was obviously them who did this to our flag. Who else would pull some shit like this?”

Alpha Kappa Lambda had been a pain in their side whenever they could. They were from their rival campus. They had been quiet for a while and it was clear that they had used that time to plot. Alpha Sigma Phi had tried to be nice to them in the past, but the members of Alpha Kappa were a bunch of unsavory characters with a proclivity to be creepy and had quickly and decisively been banned from setting foot anywhere near  their house.

“So what’s the plan, Prez?”

“First things first, Kusakabe go get the spare flag from the attic. I’m gonna go text Sukuna and start preparing. Meet me in the dining room in two hours and we’ll go over the plan.”

They wait until two hours after the sun sets to put the plan into motion. Suguru slides in next to Satoru in the backseat of Yuki’s Jeep. Ino seats himself in the passenger seat ready to provide navigation for Yuki. Sukuna was following behind them in his big ass truck. Who knew that one day it would actually come in handy? They had forced Kusakabe to ride with him. It served the idiot right.

They were heading for their rival campus which was about a thirty minute drive away. There weren’t many people on the road this time of night, so they quickly eat up the distance with Ino’s careful navigation.

They park down the street from Alpha Kappa Lambda house. Once Yuki parks and turns off her car, she signals to Sukuna. Sukuna turns his headlights off and drives past them, continuing to the pre-discussed just out of sight of the house. Yuki turns to them in the backseat and gives them an appraising look.

“Ino and I are gonna head out. You remember the signal right?”

“Yes ma’am. Now get out there and make us proud.” Satoru salutes her which she returns with a laugh before her and Ino hop out the car and creep towards the house with their bag of tools. Ino pulls his black mask down over his face, concealing any recognizable features.

Their plan was to steal Kappa Lambda’s beloved statue of their Founder. Yuki and Ino were in charge of removing it from its pedestal. With Yuki’s extensive knowledge of engineering and Ino’s willingness to follow directions, Suguru had faith in their ability to successfully pull off the task. From there they were gonna utilize Sukuna’s freakish superhuman strength and have him carry the statue to the bed of his truck. From there Kusakabe and Ino would drive the statue to their designated drop point (Hooters). Suguru was in charge of the final )and if you asked him the best) part of the plan. Satoru was in charge of being their look-out. He was extremely observant and aware of his surroundings. Nothing got by him and he had earned himself the nickname Six-Eyes as result of his ability.

But for now it was just the two of them in the car until they received the signal it was time to move onto the next stage of the plan. The perfect opportunity to interrogate his best friend.

“Exchanging clothes with Nanami to comfort him during his pre-heat, huh? I had no idea your relationship had improved so much. It’s not like you to keep secrets from your best friend.”

“It’s not like that!” Suguru can’t help but cackle at the blush painting his friend’s cheeks.

“But you want it to be,” the raven sing-songs.

“Of course I do,” Satoru sighs. “He walked me home and took care of me that night you dipshits abandoned me. He was so caring and sweet I thought I was hallucinating. But he was so cold from the short walk to our house and I couldn't drive him home because I was drunk, so I gave him my jacket to keep him warm on his walk home. Our schedules didn’t line up this past week so I didn’t have a chance to see him.”

“How chivalrous of you.” That explanation made sense. Suguru did feel a bit bad for leaving his friend behind, but he himself had been blackout drunk and did not remember much from that night. “But I’m sure you didn’t mind the thought of him wearing your jacket a bit longer.”

“Duh! He could’ve kept it forever if he wanted to and I would’ve given him more if he wanted, but you dumbasses messed that up this afternoon,” Satoru sighs. “I had just gotten him to start texting me back and making progress and now all that went up in smoke.”

Suguru pats him on the back. “I’m sure once his pre-heat and heat are over Nanami will reach back out to you. They all seemed like they were having a particularly difficult pre-heat and needed rest and comfort, not loud ass Kusakabe bothering them.”

“Man, that guy is the worst.”

Suguru’s phone pings with a text from Yuki. “Looks like that's my cue. I’ll be back.”

Suguru grabs the final piece of their plan from the trunk and soundlessly sprints across the grass. The house in front of them is quiet, all of the residents either asleep or away for the evening. Yuki is waiting for him in front of the now empty pedestal.

She nods at him before wrinkling her nose at the thing in his arms. “God, that thing is hideous. Let’s set it up so we can get out of here.”

The final piece of their plan was a hideous looking blow-up sex doll. It had been a white elephant gift from last year and all of them had been horrified when Akio had been unlucky enough to unwrap it. It looked more like a cursed doll with his misshapen, lopsided face, empty eyes that they swore could see, and the stringy hair. They had shoved it in the attic to never be seen again, but now was the perfect time to rid themselves of it.

After some strategic posing, they’re satisfied and snap a few pictures of the set up to show the others later and mark a mission complete. By the time they finish, Sukuna returns and they head back to the car. Suguru once again claims his seat next to Satoru and Sukuna slides into the passenger seat.

Once they’re on the road back home, Suguru shows pictures of the finished product to Satoru. Before he’s able to comment, his phone begins incessantly buzzing. With a puzzled look, he glances at the screen before his expression splits into a smile.

Satoru wastes no time answering the call. “Hello Gorgeous.” Suguru could guess who he was talking to off that greeting alone, the lovesick fool.

His jovial energy is quickly replaced with a pout. “Why do you wanna talk to Sukuna and not me?”

There’s a pause as Gojo listens to the response. “Fine, Fine! I’ll put him on!” He pulls the phone away from his ear and offers it to the pink haired  man. “Phone for you.”

“Speak,” Sukuna orders. His demeanor almost immediately relaxes. “Oh hello Nanami.”

Sukuna’s usually displeased expression morphs into a deepening frown the longer he listens. “The situation has been handled? We’re on our way.” He ends the call and hands the phone back to Satoru.

“Well? What did Nanami want? I would’ve thought he was still too pissed off at us to want to speak so soon.”

“His dislike of you idiots has nothing to do with me; we have a truce. He called because Omega Kappa Theta showed up to their house to pull some childish prank not expecting them to be home and a fist fight broke out.”

Suguru nearly does a double take. Surely he had misheard.

Yuki glances at him in alarm before promptly turning her attention back to the road. “Who was fighting?”

“Everyone apparently. It was Omega Chi versus Omega Kappa Theta. It got so bad that someone called campus security.”

If Alpha Kappa Lambda was their rival then Omega Kappa Theta was the equivalent to Omega Chi’s. They had a long history and did not get along which is why they rarely encountered each other. It was for the good of everyone involved.

“Yuki, you’d better step on the gas.”

They pull up to the familiar house in record time. The car is barely in park before the four of them hop out. All of the omegas were outside in the lawn in their pajamas, clearly having been preparing for bed before the altercation occurred. Thankfully there was no sign of Kappa Theta and only the Omega Chi members. They spot a familiar trio of two brunettes and a blonde and jog over.

“Is everybody okay?”

“We’re fine, but those losers from Kappa Theta aren’t.” Choso rolls his eyes and yawns into his fist. Suguru can’t help but notice the bags under his eyes and bruised knuckles. The Alpha couldn’t blame them, if someone had disturbed his sleep he would be ready to fight too.

“We tried to be nice and tell them to leave, but no that bitch Yorozu said and I quote ‘which one of you sluts is keeping my Sukuna away from me?’ and would not stop running her mouth.” Utahime’s usual neat hair was in a messy french braid and there was blood on her cutesy pink button up pajama shirt. She didn’t appear injured, so he was sure it was someone else’s. Suguru was silently grateful Shoko was away at a week-long medical conference for pre-med students because he could only imagine the reaction her gay ass would have.

“God she was so annoying, so I told her we had you strapped down in the master bedroom and were taking turns riding you and she really did not like that,” Nanami smirks. His usual neat hair was a ness and the collar of his shirt was a bit askew, but besides that you would never guess he had been fighting.

If it were anatomically possible Suguru’s jaw would’ve hit the ground and he’s sure the others aren’t faring any better. If someone told him that they were taking turns having sex with his crush, Suguru would’ve crashed out too. Nanami’s usual calm demeanor must be a facade and beneath that he was an instigator much like Suguru’s big mouthed best friend.

“Then she tried to punch Utahime. Her form was so terrible. Then after that all her friends decided they wanted to join in, so we had to back up our President.”

Haibara skips over with too much glee for someone who had been in a physical altercation. He slides next to Nanami and rests his head against the blonde’s shoulder. “It was so therapeutic,” he sighs. “I really needed to blow off some steam.” There was something wrong with everyone in this cursed sorority and it was clear their combined pre-heat just exacerbated it.

“We had no problem handling them, but I guess Psi Omega Psi saw what was happening and called campus security because they were worried. As if we would let Kappa Theta of all people get the better of us,” Utahime scoffs, flicking her braid over her shoulder. “You should really get a restraining order against Yorozu because she is OBSESSED with you Sukuna. At least you can rest assured that she won’t be coming back here anytime soon.”

“Well, it’s already pretty late, so we’re gonna go back to sleep. Bye!” The quartet gives them a final wave before they start rounding up their members and heading inside.

“They’re all so bloodthirsty. I knew there was a reason I liked them,” Sukuna declares. He nods once in satisfaction and starts walking back to the car. Suguru couldn’t help but wonder how he knew Nanami and the other omegas. Sukuna was not particularly social and liked very few people. That was a mystery for another day.

Yuki lets out a low whistle and rests her hands on her hips. “Thank goodness they usually channel their annoyance into being petty and giving the cold shoulder because damn a midnight brawl is no joke.”

“Is anyone else a little scared and horny?” Satoru asks. His blue eyes were staring wistfully at the house; no doubt yearning for his favorite blonde.

Suguru claps him on the shoulder. “I think we all are. Let’s go home and pretend we don’t know a house full of psychos.” This night had been long enough and he was ready to be one with his bed.

“Don’t let them hear you say that or we’ll be next.”
