Hat Girl is jealous
It had been almost a year since the crash, it was now late summer. Nevaeh didn't know when the group would be rescued. She had given up hope long ago, maybe she gave up hope when winter hit, maybe she gave up hope when the cabin burned down. Either way, it was clear they would never be rescued and they would all die alone out there. The worst part was wondering who would be the last to die out there. That would be true torture. But looking at Shauna…maybe the wilderness wasnt so bad after all.
Shauna shipman, the butcher, #6, friend(?) of jackie, and the girl Nevaeh wanted the most. Nevaeh had just joined the team a few weeks ago and never expected to be put in this situation, but being stranded on an island with all the girls she's had a crush on since middle school wasnt that bad, especially with the newfound bisexuality of the group.
Just then she saw Tai and Van coming back from one of their “hunts”, which means they went off in the woods and had sex for a few hours only to come back and tell the group they couldn't find anything. Everyone in the group knew this, but there truly weren't any animals left, so there wasnt much of a point to hunting anyways. However, this time Van has a deer draped over her shoulders.
“Nevaeh, can you help Shauna cut the deer down? I don't think she'll be able to do it on her own.”
You look over at Shauna, she smiles but quickly catches herself and rolls her eyes.
“I could do it.” Melissa said, jealous that someone else would be around ‘her’ Shauna.
“No, you have to make sure Lottie doesn't try and brainwash Travis into ‘talking to the woods again” Said Van, annoyed that Melissa suddenly thought she held any relevance in the group.
Melissa stormed off, mad that she couldn't have Shauna all to herself. Maybe it was because Shauna wasnt hers to begin with. Everyone saw the glances between Nevaeh and Shauna. How they found any excuse to sit next to each other. How they always tried to sneak glances at each other while in the locker room. If it wasnt for Jackie trying to play matchmaker between Sauna and Randy, who knows what might have happened between the two of them.
