Nico helps the Oracle of Delphi

before i tell you this idea let me tell you first the relationship (short version) between Nico (son of hades) and Apollo:

in canon

1) Nico and Will (son of apollo) are dating

2) Hades (Nico's Father) curse the Oracle of Delphi (High Priestess of Apollo's Temple)

and I saw a Nico/Apollo fic (on the nature of daylight Link: https://archiveofourown.org/works/62266631) a while

and i got this brilliant idea what about a fic where nico helps the oracle of delphi

so we knows hades curse the oracle after maria is killed and swears that as long as his chilren are outcasts and the great prophecy concernig his children are still going she will never rest in peace and will never have another mortal host.

So what about if Nico helps the Oracle of Delphi rest in peace (kinda cancels out hades's curse)

the more full plot ideas

  1. The Beginning: Nico might not initially realize that the Oracle is still trapped under Hades' curse. The Oracle could be in a state of limbo, unable to find peace because of the unresolved tension between her fate and the curse placed by Hades. The Oracle, still lingering in her current form, could either appear as a spirit or a form of fragmented prophecy that reaches out to Nico directly. It might be because of the involvement of Will/Apollo that Nico becomes more aware of it.

  2. The Oracle’s Suffering: The Oracle could be haunted by visions of Maria’s death, and the curse placed on her could cause her to manifest in strange and painful ways—perhaps her voice reaches out in cryptic prophecies that torment those who hear them. Nico could discover that the Oracle is caught in an endless loop of suffering because of the curse, unable to move on.

  3. Apollo’s Role: Apollo, as the god of prophecy, could be a reluctant ally to Nico. He might be moved by the fact that Nico is trying to help someone who has been bound by a cruel fate. Though there could be a sense of rivalry or tension between him and Hades.

  4. Nico’s Power: Nico could use his abilities with the Underworld to reach into the depths of the Oracle’s torment. His powers are linked to death, the souls of the dead, and the shades, so he might be the one who can communicate with the Oracle in the way she needs.

  5. Emotional Resolution: There’s a lot of room for emotional development here. Nico could experience guilt over trying to undo part of what his father set in motion, especially if he has to confront Hades in some way. The resolution could involve Nico reconciling with his father, or at least understanding that some things, like helping others, are more important than being bound by the past. Helping the Oracle could be Nico’s way of trying to break free from the shadow of Hades and his own sense of being an outcast.

  6. The Oracle's Release: Once Nico helps the Oracle rest in peace, the curse could be broken, and the Oracle might finally be able to pass on into the afterlife, her soul finding peace. This could also lead to a moment of redemption or healing for Nico as he releases part of his father’s influence on him. The Oracle could even leave him a parting gift—perhaps a prophecy or a blessing of her own
