Â
Sirius Black is a 17 year old model and also the son of 2 very wealthy people. Orion and Walburga, his parents, are the proud owners of a very big clothing brand in France. Orion thinks Sirius could learn much from the meetings he has to go on for his job, so occasionally he and sometimes Regulus have to go on a business trip with his parents. Today is a day like that. Though it isnât just a meeting this time. Itâs actually a very big event in Spain. About money and locations and new ideas and god knows what other shit Sirius has to sit through, heâs already bored just thinking about it.Â
Â
At the moment he is staring out of the window from the limousine he is sitting in. Music is blasting out of his ear pods, (âTurn that crap down or Iâll make you deaf myself before your music does!â His mother had yelled at him multiple times already). He actually doesnât mind that he has to go on this trip. It could be fun. He could make new friends, learn a new language, see more culture, maybe even see a pretty boy to entertain himself withâŚ
Â
Their private driver stops the car next to a very big Spanish house, snapping Sirius out his thoughts. He supposes this is the house where the big event is gonna happen, since he sees parked cars everywhere. He steps out of the limousine and sees the beautiful villa more clearly. It is gorgeous, there are flowers all over and the grass is mowed tightly.
Â
His parents step out too, âYou are gonna behave, alright. No funny tricks or youâre in serious trouble. This event is super important and you are not gonna ruin it, understand?â his mother says.
Â
âYeah yeah,â Sirius answers fast with not a single care in the world. The business just doesnât interest him as much as the beaches and pools and the ice creams do.Â
Â
His father, mother and him walk inside where a kind looking man is greeting people. Sirius recognises him as Fleamont, his father's biggest rival and also the boss of the company in Spain.Â
Â
âWelcome, Orion. Good afternoon, Walburga,â the man says nicely.Â
Â
âHello, Fleamont,â Orion says, his tone is more cold than friendly.Â
Â
âAnd who do we have here?â Fleamont asks Sirius, totally ignoring Orion's mean tone.
Â
âSirius,â he says while holding his hand out for a handshake, and Fleamont does the same.
Â
His mother nudges him sharply with her elbow.
Â
âI mean, Sirius Black,â he sees his mother acting out in the corner of his eyes, âSir.â He adds fast.
Â
Fleamont laughs gently, âThere is no need to call me sir, Sirius. You can just call me Monty.âÂ
Â
Sirius grins at him, âWill do, Monty.â And the man smiles brightly back. Whatever his parents said about the boss of the company in Spain already looks like a big fat lie. Sirius likes the man already.
Â
They walk further in the house, only stopping at a big wooden door. Orion leans over Sirius and whispers, âDonât you even dare ruin this,â with the coldest tone Sirius has ever heard him use. Before he can shake off the uneasy feeling his father gave him, his mother opens the door and greetings are being thrown all over the place.Â
Â
There are at least 100 people in the room in the big hall, all chatting and talking with serious looks on their faces. In the middle of the hall there is one very large table with glasses of water and some cookies on it, and chairs around it.Â
Â
âSirius Black, come over here boy!â He turns and sees an old man who he has never seen in his life wave at him. The man stands close to a table with a name tag that says Slughorn H. on it.Â
Â
Sirius signs and decides he is just gonna have to suck this shit up, if he chooses to do what is expected of him, he might as well do it better then amazing. So, he sets his shoulders, puts a charming grin on his face and walks over to the man with confidence in his strut.Â
Â
âBonjour monsieur, Iâm sorry I didnât see you before, lots of people here right?â Sirius says.
Â
âThatâs alright, Sirius, it happens to me lots of times. Iâm not as young as I used to be.â
Â
âNonsense, you barely look a day over 106,â Sirius jokes.Â
Â
Slughorn laughs, âA sense of humor and a good businessman, the world should fear you, Sirius Black.â
Â
âWell, under no circumstances I would be any greater than the big and successful Slughorn.â
Â
âI can add âcharmingâ to the list as well, apparently.â
Â
âWhat can I say, Iâm a man of many talents.â
Â
Slughorn laughs again. âYou never fail to amaze me, Sirius.â
Â
(When did he ever even amaze this man before?)
Â
âIâve heard many things about you already, I have to say,â the older man admits.
Â
âOnly good things I hope,â Sirius says while playfully lifting one eyebrow.Â
Â
âOf course, only good things can come out of the son of Orion and Walburga.â
Â
Sirius laughs politely, âTrue, true. So for what land do you work, Mister Slughorn?â
Â
âEngland. Your parents France, I suppose?â
Â
âIndeed. But sir, you have made me curious now, have you heard any other things about me?â Nothing is wrong with a little curiosity in a conversation, right? He has to be here for a trillion boring hours anyway, why not find out some secrets in the meantime?Â
Â
âI heard that you are accepted for multiple model jobs here in Spain. That must be very fun!â
Â
âYeah, Iâm really happy I get to do it. Makes you feel pretty, you know.â
Â
âYou tell me, son,â Slughorn laughs.Â
Â
âGot something else on me, sir?âÂ
Â
âI donât think Iâm supposed to tell you already, but your parents have a big surprise planned for you.â
Â
âAnd what is that surprise, I might ask.âÂ
Â
âIâve heard that your parents are going to pass the company to you very soon. Iâm very proud of you for that Sirius, at such a young age too, thatâs extremely impressive!â
Â
Sirius is sure his brain got an error. He is doing what now? He has never heard something about taking over the company before, no one has talked to him about anything.Â
Â
âOh, did they say that?â He asks. Behind his eyes anger is building up. He canât believe his parents. Only they would pull this shit. Well, if they can play this without following the rules, Sirius can too. He didnât wanna come anyways, and now he can make his parents regret ever taking him along.Â
Â
âThey look so proud of you, Sirius. You have to see their face when talking about it!â
Â
Sirius chuckles and says, âYeah well, being a good actor runs in the family.âÂ
Â
Slughornâs face changes and he looks shocked, âW-what did you say? Sorry, I think I misheard.â He gives an awkward chuckle.Â
Â
At that same moment Fleamont goes to sit down at the very big table and everyone follows.Â
Â
Sirius looks at the man with a grin, âYou heard me. No one is perfect and a good example is my parents,â he looks over at the table and then gives the man a pat on his shoulder, âI think the meeting is gonna start, au revoir monsieur. It was nice talking with you.â And he salutes the man like a sailor.Â
Â
Sirius smiles to himself when sitting in between his parents.Â
Â
âWhy that grin, put it away,â his father orders.
Â
âI think the lovely Slughorn over there would like to admire it just a little longer.âÂ
Â
His parents look at Slughorn and he is staring right back, shocked and confused.
Â
His father signs and his mother rolls her eyes at Sirius. Yeah the grin is definitely gonna stay.
Â
âGood afternoon folks,â Monty says, âI hope your trips went easy, no one lost his luggage right?â he says only half joking. âMy adorable wife Effie has baked some cookies for all of you and has put water for everyone since itâs very hot today.âÂ
Â
A round of thanks is said. Monty flashes that kind smile from before, âDonât thank me, thank Effie later when you see her.â Light laughs are heard. A few moments later he claps in his hands, âBut now the business stuff-âÂ
Â
Sirius tunes out everything that is being said after this. After a good hour of staring at the hair of a weird looking woman sitting in front of him, Siriusâ gaze slides over to the amazing smelling cookies. No one would mind if he would just take one, right? He slowly grabs one without making any sound. As he bites into it he hears his father say, â-My son will make the decision then.âÂ
Â
Sirius chokes on his cookie.
Â
He goes into a coughing fit and his whole face is red. When he finally can breathe normally again he says, âIâm doing what?â He tuned out the whole conversation, he has absolutely no idea what he has to decide or what the meeting was even about. He looks around the table, begging for someone to explain, but he only catches Monty trying very hard not to laugh.
Â
A man, Dumbledore says the name tag, answers him calmly, âYou can make the decision about in what land we built the new companyâs building on.â
Â
Sirius' mouth falls open, âWhat?! Iâm 17, Iâm not even legally working here!â He says in total shock.Â
Â
His motherâs cold eyes land on him. âNobody cares about that. You just have to pick a land, not that hard.âÂ
Â
âNot that hard?! Iâm picking in what land the business continues and in what land it doesnât have a chance, I think thatâs rather a hard decision to make.âÂ
Â
Monty speaks up, âOrion, it is totally fine if Sirius doesnât want to-â
Â
His father cuts him off very arrogantly. âPotter, I do not care what my son wants, he has to do whatever orders that I give him.âÂ
Â
âHeâs 17, let him stay a kid if he wants-â
Â
âI told you that I donât care what he wants. If everybody did what they wanted we wouldnât be sitting here, would we?âÂ
Â
Montyâs smile isnât anywhere to be seen, and his face you can describe with 1 word. Pure disgust.Â
Â
Everyone in the meeting room is dead silent. It is well known that Fleamont and Orion canât get along, though no one knows why that is, but itâs still common sense that you stay out of their arguments and silent wars. The most wise choice is to not even look at them or breathe in their direction. Of course, Sirius has never made a wise choice in his life.
Â
âWell, Iâm not going to do that. You can look for another son to lead the company later.âÂ
Â
Walburgaâs mask of being the âperfect leaderâ drops for a single second before she acts like nothing is wrong. He laughs, âYeah not so good at keeping secrets are you, mother?â
Â
âHow dare you say that in front of everyone,â his mother hisses. She harshly grabs Siriusâ arm and her nails dig into his skin. âYou are going to regret ever being born when we are home-âÂ
Â
âAlright!â Monty is suddenly standing next to Sirius and pulls him back out of Walburgaâs reach. âLetâs take a 15 minute break.â He says kindly, though his eyes are filled with rage and fixed on Orion and Walburga.
Â
As everyone quietly leaves the room, Monty puts his hand on Siriusâ back and leads him out to the hall.Â
Â
Sirius looks down to the ground, a bit ashamed that an adult just saved him out of a conversation from his parents. But he is grateful anyway. âThank you. You didnât have to do that though, I could have handled it myself-âÂ
Â
âYou didnât have to.â
Â
Sirius looks up at him and is greeted with soft eyes and a friendly smile. To be honest, Sirius has never thought about it like that, having the opportunity to just not deal with it.Â
Â
âLook,â Monty places his hand on Siriusâ shoulder, âIâve known your parents for a very long time. Orion and I lived in the same town, went to the same middle school, the same highschool, and the same university. I know how he is and how he can be. Honestly, it surprises me that this is the first big meeting you're attending.âÂ
Â
âYou noticed that this was my first?â Sirius says, slightly panicking.Â
Â
âThe way you walked in my house said it all, but then in the room it was like you were the boss, your acting is very impressive I got to say.â
Â
Sirius smiles, âLearned from the best,â he says, obviously meaning Orion and Walburga with their fakeness.Â
Â
Monty laughs and shakes his head, âYou are so different from your parents, I like you.âÂ
Â
Sirius is sure his heart is glowing. He always gets the forced, âYou are so much like your parentsâ, and he hates every word of the sentence. But the new, âYou are so different from your parentsâ, has a lovely sound to it, Sirius wants to cherish that sound forever and have it engraved in his eardrums.
Â
Monty looks around to see if anyone is listening and then asks, âDo you know your way to your house from here?âÂ
Â
âYeah, why?â
Â
Montly leans closer and whispers, âGo to the bathroom on the second floor and open the third door to the right, I think the window there is big enough for you to climb through and leave this boring meeting. The front door is packed with people, you can never escape from there without someone seeing you.â
Â
He sees the mischief in the older manâs eyes, and Sirius is living for it.Â
Â
Sirius laughs brightly, âMy parents were so wrong about you,â
Â
âYeah well, they are wrong about a lot of things,â Monty says, giving Sirius a grin. âNow go and do something now that you're still young and not stuck at a desk.â
Â
âThank you, I owe you, Monty!â Sirius says while running to the stairs for the second floor. He is Monty so grateful because if heâs honest, escaping this shit was already on his mind in the car on the way here.Â
Â
Heâs on the second floor now and sees the door that Monty meant. He opens it and sees that the window is smaller than he imagined, but it has to work. Sirius goes to stand on the closed toilet seat and opens the window. He looks down and realizes that the small window isnât the only thing that he had imagined wrong. This is very high, higher than he was at his motherâs birthday party, and that says a lot.Â
Â
He closes his eyes for a second and takes a deep breath.Â
Â
Sirius opens his eyes again, he swings one leg out the window and holds onto the wall with one hand, the other still clinging hard to the side of the toilet. Just as his other leg is outside of the bathroom his phone rings. The sound surprises him and he loses grip from his hands, and his feet slide off the little brick they stood on.
Â
He falls right out the second story window and lands face first in the bushes of the driveway.Â
Â
âFuck,â He groans in pain. Of course falling out of the window would happen to him. If this is Godâs way of showing karma for escaping his parents, Sirius is gonna become an atheist.
Â
He groans while standing up and brushes the dirt off of his fancy clothes he was forced to wear. When he looks up to start walking away and gaslight himself this never happened, Sirius is facing the most handsome man he has ever met.
Â
The man is staring right back, but probably not for the same reasons.
Â
Sirius looks at the window he just fell out of, then the flat piece of bushes that he ruined by landing in, and then back at the boy.
Â
âYeah uhm, itâs a long story.â
Â
The boy just keeps staring. After a few seconds he says, âDid you just literally fall out of a bathroom window? You know there is something called a door, right?â
Â
Sirius rolls his eyes, âI had to escape my parents and the boring meeting, so the bathroom window was the best option.âÂ
Â
âYour parents are part of the meeting? Why did you escape them?â
Â
âWhy donât you tell me your name first before I trauma dump on you, pretty boy?âÂ
Â
The boy looks down and smiles, âItâs Remus. Whatâs yours?â
Â
âSirius.â
Â
âDoes Sirius have a last name?â
Â
âBlack. Sirius Black.â
Â
âThat explains a lot,â Remus says while smiling like he knows something Sirius doesnât.
Â
âWhat does that mean?â
Â
âI know Monty very well and he was talking about how much he dreads that Orion and Walburga Black were coming. I guess you wanted to be away from them too.â
Â
âOkay, true I have nothing to say about that-â
Â
âYour lip is bleeding, Siriusâ Remus says out of nowhere.
Â
Siriusâ fingers touch his lip and blood is on them. He supposes it isnât that crazy that something is bleeding when he just fell two floors down.
Â
Remus just grabs his lower arm and says, âIâll fix it, come back inside, Sirius.âÂ
Â
Sirius has a billion reasons to say no. Remus is a stranger. His parents who he ran away from are inside. So many people who are inside know who he is and he could get in trouble.Â
Â
But he still follows the gorgeous boy inside through the back door.
Â
âMonty couldnât suggest this way instead of the window?â
Â
Remus chuckles, âHe likes to mess with everyone, but Iâm sure that this time he just wanted to be part of a failed James Bond mission.âÂ
Â
Sirius gasps dramatically, âYou think it failed?!â
Â
âWas falling out the window a part of the plan?â
Â
ââŚNo. But the mission technically didnât fail because my side quest for my vacation was meeting a pretty Spanish guy and that definitely didnât go wrong.â
Â
âIâve known you for less than two minutes, and yet you've flirted with me more than you've shown any embarrassment about me seeing everything that has happened,â Remus says while he keeps walking and leading Sirius to somewhere. Sirius looks over at his face and sees that Remusâ cheeks are slightly red.Â
Â
They stop walking and end up in a bathroom, (another one then the one Sirius fell out of) and Remus is grabbing things and opening cabinets. âHere Iâll clean the wound.â
Â
âYou live here?â Sirius asks, unable to shove his curiosity down.
Â
âSort of. James lives here, but Iâm here everyday.â
Â
âWhoâs James?â
Â
âThe son of Effie and Monty. Heâs really nice, I bet youâll like him.â Remus comes closer and sprays something on a little cloth. His right hand is cupping Siriusâ jaw and with his other hand he is gently swiping the blood away with the cloth from Siriusâ lips.Â
Â
Sirius is watching Remus, if you look closely he has freckles under his eyes and on his nose. Remusâ eyes are beautiful brown, they make Sirius think of hazel nuts.Â
Â
Remus looks up and locks eyes with him. Sirius feels his cheeks go red at the intense staring.
Â
âHey Remus, do you know where-â
Â
They both look at the doorway where a boy with blond hair is standing. Remus drops his hands from Siriusâ face fast and Sirius takes a step backwards.Â
Â
The boy looks at the two of them and yells, âJames! Remus has found another stray for your parents to take in!â
Â
Remus is smiling at the boy, âNo Pete, this is just Sirius.â
Â
Pete walks into the room, âWelcome to your new home âjust Siriusâ, you are gonna love it here!â
Â
Remus laughs and another boy walks into the room too. âOh! Youâre Sirius! Donât worry Peter, he is already adopted by my dad.â
Â
Sirius is extremely confused. âIâm what now?â
Â
âYou're my brother now, hi! Iâm James!â
Â
âNice to meet you?â Sirius says back unsure.
Â
âCome, let me show you your new room,â James says and he is already walking. Sirius looks around and sees that everyone is following.Â
Â
He ends up walks next to Peter and whispers, âIs he serious?â
Â
âNo, you are.âÂ
Â
Sirius isnât sure in what insane situation he landed in, but everything is better than his parents so he just doesnât think much about it.Â
Â
They go inside a big room. There is a bed in the middle with football posters on the walls. On the ground are laying 2 extra mattresses. Sirius guesses that those are for Remus and Peter to sleep there.Â
Â
James sits on his bed and smiles, âOkay donât look so panicked Sirius, I was joking. But my dad really did tell me about you, he told me you are a really nice person.â
Â
âThank you. Iâm sorry, what am I doing here?â Sirius says, totally confused.
Â
Peter says, âBecoming our friend. If you want to, of course.â
Â
Sirius just looks at the 3 boys staring at him. They look really kind, and they have good humor. Plus he wouldnât mind getting to know Remus more. Sirius knows heâs a big flirt, but heâs also not blind. Remus is absolutely stunning, and Sirius likes to mess a bit with people. Itâs just a very big win for him that that person is incredibly handsome. Sure, he is a bit attracted to Remus, and he is totally his type, but itâs just for fun the flirting.Â
Â
âYeah, I would love to, you all seem very cool.â
Â
Remus chuckles, âI would want to say the same for you but the way you introduced yourself took away those privileges.â
Â
âOmg Remus tell us!â James says excitedly.
Â
Sirius covers his face with his hands, âNo! This is the worst first impression Iâve ever made! Iâm not normally like that- okay no thatâs a lie, but I swear Iâm not proud of it!â
Â
Remus sits down on his mattress, âHe tried to escape the meeting of your parents by climbing through your bathroom window on the second floor, James. And then he fell out of it and landed face first into the bushes. In that same minute he called me pretty, flirted his ass off, trauma dumped on me, and bled on the ground.â
Â
âWow Sirius, how charming," Peter says.
Â
âA real gentleman,â James adds while laughing.
Â
âNo, wait I can explain. I tried to escape because-â
Â
And Sirius explains the whole story. There were many laughs exchanged between the young boys, and also a few sorry looking faces. Sirius and the boys talked all night long about everything and nothing at all. Sirius had friends in France, but never like this. He knows Peter, James and Remus for like 4 hours and he feels more home then he ever has in his own house. Everything feels so much easier with them, so much more comfortable. He doesnât feel like heâs being weird or that secretly everyone hates him here.
Â
He has learned that Peter is the funny friend, the one to make everyone laugh with his little comments.
Â
James is the kind, caring, âmomâ friend. He was saying sweet things to Sirius about the parent situation, Sirius was actually really touched by this. He didnât know he needed to hear those things, and James said them anyway.Â
Â
Remus is the sarcastic one, he looks very put together, but Sirius can see that thatâs just an act. If he looks very good he can see Remusâ lips curl up when James compliments his hair, or when Peter made a joke about Siriusâ confused face when they all walked in.Â
Â
Sirius likes looking at Remus, he is like a puzzle that Sirius is eager to solve, the urge tingling under his fingertips like fireworks. He wants to know what Remus thinks, wants to know what Remus his secrets are.
Â
They are all laying on Jamesâ bed, Peter his head laying on Siriusâ knees. Remus his head is resting on Jamesâ chest.
Â
Sirius lets out a little laugh, âI started this day by thinking about how horrible it will be today, and here I am in the bedroom of my parents enemyâs son having the time of my life.â
Â
âIf this is your version of time of your life, youâve clearly never experienced a game night at the Potters,â Remus says.Â
Â
James gasps very loudly and abruptly sits up, almost making Remus fall out of bed. âSirius, you should join the game night! Itâs in 3 days, you have to come!â
Â
Sirius sits up too, very slowly so that he doesnât hurt Peter. âI would love it too! But are your parents okay with that, though?â
Â
âIf I asked my parents to adopt you right now, they would totally say yes without hesitation.â
Â
âYour mom hasnât even met me yet?â
Â
âExactly,â James says. Sirius can hear the grin James has on his face. "Sirius, if you want you can stay over tonight too, itâs already very late. You can sleep in my bed if you donât mind.â
Â
Sirius smiles very brightly. He loves James so much already and he doesnât even know that much about him. He just feels right with him. Itâs different then with Remus. With him Sirius wants to know every single detail about Remus, every inch of him and every cell of his skin. But with James he feels like he already knows enough. Sirius loves James already before knowing everything, and heâs sure that knowing everything will make that love even more stronger.Â
Â
âI donât mind at all. Thanks James!â
Â
âNo problem, mate!â James says while smiling back with equal brightness.
Â
As they all lay in their beds, (Remus and Peter on their mattresses), James and Peter fall asleep very quickly. Sirius notices that James snores in his sleep, it makes him smile. James is such a comfortable person to be around, he canât really explain it but James makes him feel safe.Â
Â
Sirius goes to lay down at the foot end of the bed, giving James more space since his arm was laying on Siriusâ chest.
Â
âRemus? Are you awake?âÂ
Â
âYeah,â he whispers back.
Â
âI canât sleep either, Iâm way too hyper.â
Â
âI can do something about that,â Remus tells him slowly.
Â
Sirius turns to Remus fast with big eyes. âYou- what?â
Â
Remus rolls his eyes playfully, âYou have such a dirty mind. No, I meant that we could smoke outside. Like, doing something to drop the energy you still have lingering.â
Â
Sirius laughs and says jokingly, âAre you sure? Because that other offer I also wouldnât have declined.â
Â
âAlright take it slow sweetheart, letâs not forget the intro you made, no flirting can fix that red flag.â Remus says back with the same tone Sirius had while talking to him.Â
Â
âAh, you fucker!â Sirius laughs and slaps him on the chest with the back of his hand softly.Â
Â
âWell, this fucker is sharing his cigarets with you, so you better be nice.â
Â
They laugh and walk out the room into the pitch-black hall. âItâs very dark here,â Sirius says. Out of habit he immediately tries to hold on to something. He finds Remusâ arm and just clings to that.
Â
âWhat are you doing?â he whispers.
Â
âHolding on to something, of course.â
Â
âWhy?â
Â
âBecause it's dark.âÂ
Â
âYeah I know, but why hold on to me? Why not on the wall?â
Â
âCan the wall lead me outside?â
Â
âOh just say you are scared of the dark, Sirius.â He can practically hear Remus rolling his eyes playfully.
Â
âIâm not! I just⌠donât like it.â
Â
âYouâre scared.â
Â
âNo, Iâm not!â
Â
Remus is laughing, "Yeah, you are.âÂ
Â
âNo thatâs not true-â
Â
âShh, keep your mouth shut, I hear something,â Remus says, suddenly standing still.
Â
âOr what? You arenât gonna give me a cig-â Siriusâ voice gets cut off by Remusâ warm hand on his mouth. This actually makes Sirius shut it, in some miraculous way.
Â
Sirius looks intensely at Remus, the only light that invades the hall now is the sudden moonlight that falls through the window. It makes Remusâ eyes sparkle in a beautiful way, like moondust is dancing in his irises.
Â
After a while Remus signs in relief and drops his hand, meeting Siriusâ eyes. He looks a bit confused, âWhat are you looking at?â He asks.
Â
Sirius was never the one to control his feelings or thoughts. He always says whatever he thinks, without hesitating. Itâs a curse and a gift at the same time. The gift is that his brain works faster than his mouth, when he needs to lie his brain already has a lie ready for his mouth to tell. The curse, well, it is this.
Â
âIt looks like your eyes have moondust in them, and your freckles are the craters of the moon.â
Â
It looks like Remus' brain is having an error. Sirius can see at least 6 different emotions passing on his face.Â
Â
âI- Sirius, what?â
Â
âActually, you in general make me think of the moon,â Sirius continues his line of thought, âWould you mind being called Moony? I think the nickname really fits you.â
Â
âOkay Sirius, how do I even react to that?â
Â
A smile grows on his face, âYou donât have to, Iâll just call you Moony and steal all your cigarettes and see how youâll react to that.â
Â
Remus laughs quietly and shakes his head while looking down. âYou really are a unique person, has anyone told you that before?â
Â
âNot in the way you just did, and I wouldnât mind if you keep being the only one,â He responds while holding the eye contact, and his tone being flirty.
Â
âAlright, letâs go outside before Monty catches us, sweetheart,â Remus says joking along with Sirius, his voice also flirty, but itâs different. Itâs lower, itâs charming, itâs addicting.Â
Â
Sweetheart, Sweetheart, Sweetheart.
Â
Sirius loves the ring of that in his ears.Â
Â
He follows Remus outside and accepts the cigarette that he offers.Â
Â
âThank you, Moony.â Sirius looks at Remus for an annoyed sign or an eyeroll for the nickname. Instead he gets a generous smile. Remus thinks Sirius canât see it, it is very tiny, just the corners of his lips turn up.Â
Â
Siriusâ heart flutters a bit, and he feels happy. He is very fucking happy that he fell out of the window and followed the pretty boy inside. Never has he ever been more thankful for the fact that his actions have consequences.
