Prologue
Author's Note: Been reading a lot of Harry Potter fics recently and I have been working on this old fic of mine originally written for Fanfiction.net back in 2016 (Almost 10 years ago, Yikes XD) But my writing has imporived and my original plan fo it has changed so here is the prolouge I plan to update a few chapters a bit later once I have editted them
Two sisters were in a room, the oldest Lily Evans was packing things into a large trunk, her young sister sat on her bed, watching with a small frown. They were identical in a few ways, but Violet had blazing red hair whilst Lily’s was like a soft autumn leaf, and Violet had soft turquoise eyes whilst Lily had brilliant emerald.
“Don’t worry Violet, it’s just like a boarding school, I’ll be back for Christmas, and then I’ll be home over the summer too.” Lily told her.
“Yeah, but you won’t be here in the morning, and I won’t see you in school now. And your gonna learn magic! Do you know how cool that is? I wanna learn it too.” Vi pouted. Lily chuckled lightly.
“Oh Vi, I’ll send you letters weekly, and when I am back at Christmas, I will teach you everything I’ve learnt.” Lily told her, before holding out her little finger. “Pinkie promise.” Vi giggled as she linked her little finger with her sister.
“You can’t break it now.” Vi told her proudly. Lily just laughed with her sister; she really was going to miss her whilst she was at Hogwarts.
