Heiwa sat near the grand window of the royal nursery, her gaze soft as she watched her children sleep. The boy, Syaoran, carried the essence of Terra’s power, while his twin sister, Reiko, bore the soul of the ancient entity. “You’re awake again,” Tlahuicole’s deep voice rumbled as he approached, wrapping a warm cloak around her shoulders. He stood beside her, his gaze shifting between their children and his wife. “You haven’t slept much lately.”
Heiwa leaned against him slightly, drawing comfort from his presence. “I keep thinking about their future. About the dangers that await them. They deserve a childhood free of burdens.”
