A week later both families were in the windy city. They stayed in a hotel near the girl's apartment since it wasn't fair for either family to stay at the girls place. Dinner reservations where Friday night at 7pm in a fancy restaurant the girls loved.
JJ and Press were laying in bed enjoying the only time they would have alone this weekend since their families were in town. Julie got bored of watching Netflix and began to make her way to her girlfriend's neck leaving a trail of kisses along her collarbone. “Babe stop i'm watching something” Julie ignored it and kept making her way back up moving her hands over Press body. She found her girlfriend's lips Christen kissed her back having a hot steamy make out session when Christen gets on top of Julie and gets Julie to remove her shirt and begins to kiss her body getting down to her hips and leaves a trail of kisses has her hands begin to move down Julie in between a moan says "Babe ... don't... stop" just has Julie finishes what she try to say. Christen jumps up and says "Thats what you get for interrupting my show and hurry up and take a cold shower we have actual dinner in 2 hours". Julie was upset that her girlfriend played along but didn't end the game.
After showering , changing , hair and make up done. They both wore a dresses with wedges semi short dress they looked like they weren't dating. They were almost ready to go Christen just needed help putting her simple but elegant necklace she calls over Julie "Babe help me put my necklace on" has she put her girlfriends necklace she admires her view. A tall tan very fit frame with between hazel and green eyes an a million dollar smile. Julie was lost for words that all she could say was "woah .. babe" Christen say "Baby come on or we are going to be late" stealing a quick kiss and taking Julie's hand and interlocking them with hers going outside to into Julie's jeep.
The drive to the restaurant was too quiet for Christen Julie’s eyes where glued on the road head of her. They had never been out to their families and now they they just wouldn’t be coming out but also telling they have a girlfriend. Shortly they arrive to the restaurant out of no where “Do we really have to tell them?” Christen wasn’t surprised by Julie’s question since she was also thinking the same thing. “Well we can’t turn around now we got them out here and we both agreed to tell them together so have each others support in case anything went wrong.” she gives her girlfriend kiss on her forehead for reassurance for what they were about to do.
Since they didn’t want the whole world to find out they got a party room in the restaurant to have some privacy from fans or nosey customers. Their families where early to the dinner they had already taken their seat questioning each other if they knew what the girls needed to tell them that was so important.
As they walk into the room their families shout out by time you guys show up were thought you guys stood us up! they go around saying Hi to their families along with introducing them to each others. Everyone seemed to be getting along Christen’s mother “So when are you guys telling us that was so important we had to come?” they looked at each other and Christen says “Well lets first enjoy dinner and then after we can tell you guys”. The families agreed and began to order their dinners and eat.
The families had grown impatient they wanted to know what they had to say. “So we are all done can we know what was so important now?” said Julie’s mother. Julie began with “Well we wanted to see you guys its been a while since we have all been together and we didn’t want to tell you guys over the phone we wanted to say it face-to-face” when Christen interrupts with “That we have been dating of the pasted 6 months after the World Cup ended” reaching over to hold her girlfriends hand. their was a long silence they were all taken by surprise they never thought their daughters would be into girls specially their best friends.
~ A good 5 minutes pass ~
Finally someone spoke
“Well we are all surprised to hear this we would of never thought about it we give you guys props for being able to have this on the downlow we also appreciate you guys telling us before we found out from the media or social media posts” Julie’s family.
Press family took a turn to speak as well
“If this is who you are are and making you happy we will support you guys 110%”
At the same time other family members began to say we support you, we love you guys, last long. After all the tension they had left their was a huge weight off their chest that their families supported them. A even bigger surprise Christen’s dad “So shall we start planning the wedding?” the entire room bursted into laughter they girls quickly replied with “we want to take it slow and when the times right we can move to the next level but also wanted to asked if you guys could also keep it on the downlow for now”. The families agreed and decided they should head back to the hotel since they had had a long day they hugged and kissed the girls and headed out to catch a cab to the hotel.
Once they got home from the restaurant the girls just wanted to cuddle together nothing else for the moment since it felt like everything was going so well. Like usual in each others hoodies with JJ blanket and Press picking what they were going to watch. They fell asleep a couple episodes later on the couch cuddling pulling each other closer during the night.
