Enid was planning on sleeping in for once, not being woken by her army superiors for their daily morning routine. Unfortunately, it didn’t go as planned. It was 8:32am when her phone was ringing repeatedly. The blonde wanted to simply let it ring but once she saw that it was Yoko’s name on her screen, she grabbed it and picked up.

-Whaaaat?, asked the blonde, grumpy and sleepy.

-Enid, I need you to do me a huge favor., said the other girl.

-What is it?, sighed Enid, her brain barely awake.

-My current camera’s storage is full. Can you go to my room? You’ll see an SD card on my table. Could you bring that to me please? I do not want to get fired. Please?, pleaded Yoko, clearly worried for her career.

-Fine. You’re lucky I love you., replied Enid, getting up.

-Thank you so much. I owe you one., said Yoko relieved.

-Yes, you do. Now send me the address. I’ll be there as soon as possible., reassured the blonde as she grabbed her clothes.

-Yes. Thank you! I love you!, replied the younger girl.

-I love you too. Bye now., said Enid as she hung up.

The blonde quickly walked to the bathroom, getting dressed and ready, barely even touching her messy bed hair but also not really caring. She grabbed her keys and her phone, walking into Yoko’s bedroom. As the girl had described, there was indeed an SD card on her table. Enid grabbed it and put it in her front pocket, not wanting it to get lost. She made her way out of the apartment, making sure she locked the door before looking up the address that Yoko had sent her.

She was 26 minutes away by foot. Then she had an idea. She walked to Yoko’s basement, going to her storage. Enid pulled out an old bike and opened the garage before quickly riding out. She held her phone in her hand, needing to follow the directions, well aware that Yoko could see her live location. While Enid was riding, she saw some people under a bridge fighting and visibly not in their right mind. She assumed they were drug addicts out on the street, not giving it any other thought. As she pulled up to the compound building of Yoko’s work place, she made sure to put the lock on the bike. She glanced over, seeing a man leaning on the wall, clearly not feeling great.

-Sir? Are you okay?, frowned the blonde.

He mumbled something that Enid didn’t catch. She sighed and decided to go in and hand in the card and then come back to help him. And so she did. She walked into the building up to the reception, greeting the person working there.

-Good morning. I am looking for Yoko Tanaka., said Enid with a polite smile.

-Oh yes. She said someone would be bringing something in for her., nodded the receptionist as they got up.

But then there was a loud noise in their lunch area.

-Great. I’m gonna have to take care of whatever dishes were broken. Can you go bring her whatever it is you’ve brought? She’s upstairs, 3rd floor. Room 108., said the person as they walked out from behind their desk.

-Sure. Yeah., nodded Enid as she watched them walk into the lunch area.

Someone had fainted? Weird. Enid shook off the weird feeling and made her way to the elevator to go to the third floor. She got in, pressing the button. Yet a hand stopped the doors from closing. Enid looked up, recognizing the man from somewhere. Not sure where. Until it hit her. The airport. A second later, a familiar stranger stepped into the elevator. The girl from the plane.

-Are you stalking me or something?, scoffed Enid.

-You wish. I am here for work., replied the girl.

-Mhm. I’m sure you are., nodded the blonde.

The three of them went up the third floor, stepping out. Enid quickly passed them and made her way to the room 108. Once there, she knocked on the door. She didn’t have to wait long, her best friend was already opening the door and smiling in relief.

-You’re here before Miss Addams., sighed Yoko, clearly relieved.

-Mhm. Here., said Enid as she pulled out the card and handed it to her.

-Thank you. You’re a lifesaver., smiled the girl as she pulled Enid into a hug.

She then caught eye of a person.

-Shit, she’s here. Okay, Enid, just sit in a corner somewhere. Don’t say a word., said Yoko as she quickly pulled away and grabbed the card.

Enid looked at her confused but decided to not question it. She walked to a chair in the back of the room, sitting down in silence while Yoko rushed to her camera, putting in the empty card. That is when the stranger walked in. Enid couldn’t help but frown when she was welcomed and referred to as ‘Miss Addams’. Then it hit her. The blonde quickly got up and walked up to her best friend.

-That’s Wednesday Addams?, whisper-yelled Enid.

-Yes, why?, frowned Yoko, confused by her best friend’s reaction.

-I sat next to her on the plane. She was a bitch., stated Enid, lowering her voice.

-Wha- Enid, you can’t speak about a client like that. You’re gonna get me fired. Now shut up and sit down-, started Yoko but they heard someone clearing their throat.

Enid and Yoko looked up from where it came from, Wednesday looking back at the two.

-Yes, Miss Addams?, said Yoko in a small voice.

-Shall we begin? I don’t have all day., sighed the girl.

-Of course, Miss Addams. Everything is set. Please step in front of the white paper wall. Would you like for me to suggest poses or do you just wish to do whatever feels natural?, wondered Yoko politely.

-Well, none of this is natural to me. But I’ll improvise for now., nodded Wednesday as she walked to stand on her assigned spot.

-Very well. Whenever you’re ready., nodded Yoko, placing herself behind her professional camera.

Enid just stood there, being dumbfounded by this whole situation.

-Is it possible to make your assistant stop looking at me like they’ve just eaten some rotten food?, asked Wednesday, eyeing Enid.

Yoko raised her eyebrows and looked at her best friend.

-Enid. Go sit down. Now., repeated Yoko.

Enid rolled her eyes but nodded, not wanting her best friend to get in trouble because of her. She walked back to the chair she was sitting on, trying to distract herself by simply looking around the room. The first few flashes started as Yoko took pictures of Wednesday. The girl was just standing there, hands to her sides, no emotion on her face. It was like taking a picture of a corpse or a ghost. All of a sudden, they heard screaming. An hysterical scream.
