Note
Hey y'all! This is going to be a side fic for the time being. I've been working on another fic for quite some time so this one won't be updated as regularly as my 'Leaving Home (My Heart Never Left You)' fic..for now atleast.Anyways, hope you like what I have so far. Enjoy! And sorry for any mistakes.Oh and btw, when Clarke is singing in the flashback, she's singing Gasoline by Halsey. Just wanted to get that out there, so nobody thinks I created those lyrics.

Lexa has been pacing back and forth for the last few hours ever since she got that text from Clarke earlier this morning. Lexa looks back down at her phone, nervously fumbling to her messages to reread Clarke's text.

From Clarke [8:15 A.M.] We need to talk. I'm coming over in a few hours.

Clarke is coming over here in a few hours? As excited as Lexa is to see Clarke, she's not sure if she's ready for another emotionally exhausting screaming match. Lexa still can't believe that she had Clarke in her arms two nights ago. Even if it was only for comfort on Clarke's part, Lexa felt like she was reunited with a part of herself that she was missing for much too long. The green eyed girl curses herself for thinking this way. She knows her and Clarke are over. She betrayed Clarke's trust. She cheated on her. And she knows for Clarke (as for many people in a committed relationships) cheating is the worst possible betrayal. Lexa includes herself in this group of people, which is another reason why she still can't fathom why she did what she did. No matter how many therapy sessions, talks with Anya or days of self reflection, she just can't wrap her head around it fully. Lexa hangs her head in shame and shakes herself from these thoughts. She has to stop going in circles about this. It's driving her mad. This past year has been the worst of her life and it's not just because she lost Clarke. It's also because she lost herself along the way too.

All of a sudden, Lexa hears a confident knock at her door and hurries over to the front hallway. She quickly pulls open the door with a gentle smile and kind eyes, awaiting to see her beautiful ex girlfriend. Lexa's features immediately morph to those of disgust and anger.

"Costia.." Lexa grits out, becoming more and more enraged by the second. "What the hell are you doing here?!"

"I don't know Clarke. Are you sure this is a good idea?" Luna gently says as they pull out of the driveway. Luna honks the horn at the swarm of paparazzi, signaling for them to disperse before she runs them over. Clarke puts her sunglasses on and chuckles slightly at how annoyed Luna gets at the paparazzi. Don't get Clarke wrong, she hates the never ending photography guard just waiting for her to slip up (which she does quite often these days), but Luna is a whole other level with it. Clarke usually just ignores them, but Luna on the other hand, has no problem with confrontation.

"Yes." Clarke says softly. "I just..I can never get the right words out with her anymore." Clarke shakes her head and looks out the window, the paparazzi long gone. "We used to have such good communication. I'm just so angry now, all my words end up coming out so aggressive and loud."

"You mean yelling?" Luna smirks and Clarke rolls her eyes.

"Yes, yelling okay. The other night I rampaged into Lexa's house like a crazy person, you should have seen me." Clarke mumbles. "This isn't me, Lun."

At the next red light, Luna looks over at her empathetically and reaches over to squeeze Clarke's hand. "I know Clarke. That's why I'm coming with you to talk to her..although, I'm not sure how receptive Lexa will be of my presence." Luna mutters.

"Yeah me either." Clarke mumbles quietly. She knows Lexa isn't Luna's biggest fan but she feels like Luna could explain Clarke's headspace on the tour and show just how non romantic things are between the pair. Plus, after two nights ago, Clarke doesn't trust herself to be in the same room with Lexa. She feels like her emotions toward Lexa are just so intense right now that she is either going to scream at her or kiss her so hard and drown herself in all that is Lexa Woods once more.

"What the hell are you doing here?!"

"I came to talk, Lexa. God you're so dramatic." Costia puts out her cigarette right on Lexa's front porch mat and steps on it with the back of her razor thin heel. "Well...aren't you going to invite me in?"

"Get the fuck off my property." Lexa growls out. "Are you insane? I bet you just showed up here so paparazzi could catch wind of this. Yeah, you're milking this little publicity stunt for all you can to save your dying career." Lexa says in harsh whispers. She usually is not so cruel but Costia is intentionally throwing the affair in Clarke's face and is makes Lexa's blood boil.

"Oh America's Sweetheart has quite the mean streak doesn't she?" Costia coos out in a sickeningly sweet voice, dripping with the utmost patronizing insincerity.

Lexa squints and sees a paparazzi van pulling up outside. The last thing she needs is for Costia's little stunt to appear in the gossip rags again and hurt Clarke even more. Shit, that reminds her that Clarke could be showing up at literally any minute. Lexa starts to feel faint and sweaty. This is an absolute worst case scenario for her.

"Jesus, just get inside before the paparazzi sees." Lexa growls out. She's almost positive that Costia probably called that paparazzi van to get some pictures of this and Lexa wants absolutely no part of it. She will just hurry Costia out the back entrance that leads out on the other street, far away from any prying eyes.

"Will you relax? I came to talk about some exciting news." Costia chirped. "Well, I suppose you might have a heart attack over the news actually."

"Just spit it out. The quicker you say whatever you have to, the quicker you can leave." Lexa mumbles, rubbing her temples. She has the the worst tension headache of her life.

"I'm surprised Titus hasn't called you with the news yet. I'm sure he's probably a little scared of your reaction." Costia laughs and Lexa looks at her with an angry, yet confused look on her face so she continues. "Well, all this publicity has done wonders for the Grounders movie and they decided to do that sequel after all.

No no no no no no no. This can't be happening. Lexa feels like she's about the pass out. The film was low budget and the only reason Lexa said yes to it was because she believed in the script, but never in a million years did she think they would actually do a sequel.

"I won't do it." Lexa blankly stares at Costia, trying to mask her reaction. Costia looks at her empathetically, strangely enough.

"Look Lexa, I'm actually genuinely sorry for the shit storm my interview is causing for you, but this is Hollywood and honestly? I only said things that were true. I get that you think it might hurt Clarke to film another Grounders and be on set with me all the time, but it doesn't have to be awkward. We had sex...well very brief sex, but that's it. I know this whole thing has been stretched out and I'm undoubtedly the villain in you and Clarke's story, but don't let any of that shit affect your career. I don't know anything about the contract that you signed for Grounders but my contract explicitly stated that I would have to return should they do a sequel so I'm assuming it's the same for you." Costia says truthfully.

"Fuck..." Lexa clenches her firsts. Her contract did include that. Trying to get out of that will burn bridges and significantly hurt her career and that's even if she could get out of the contract. Usually those contracts are iron clad. Before she could say anything else, she hears another knock at the door. The color from Lexa's face completely drains and she goes absolutely pale like a ghost. Costia peers at her curiously, a glint of amusement in her eyes.

"Expecting anyone?" Costia asks simply.

Another knock. The only thing standing between Clarke and Luna and Costia and Lexa is a very thin door, a door that Lexa realizes is unlocked at this very moment. Right before her eyes, before she can do or say anything, Lexa sees the doorknob begin to turn and the door swing open to reveal Clarke, her beautiful Clarke...and Luna? What the hell is going on?
