Chapter 6
Elphaba eventually finished helping Glinda with the glass.
"I'm so sorry Glinda, did i startle you...?" Elphaba said nervously, as if she said or did something entirely wrong.
"N-No... Uhh... Yes? I don't know! Erm..." Glinda's face was still red as she put the glass in the garbage. They both eventually made it back to the couch, faces flushing, heads reeling, Ect...
"Okay, shall we play a movie now that that's over?" Tibbett said, grabbing the TV remote.
"Oh yeah. That'll be amazing for us." Fiyero said.
"How about a rom com?" Crope asked. Everyone had mostly agreed, so it was settled they were watching a romance movie.
Everyone was eventually put into groups for when they would go to sleep, and of course... Elphaba was paired with Glinda, and they both were sharing the couch, and a blanket. Both of the girls knew what they were doing, but didn't know the other did Aswell.
"Elphie, can i lay my head in your lap so I can get more comfortable...?" Glinda asked nervously, and smiled when Elphaba agreed, laying her head on Elphaba's lap and looking at the Tv.
"mhm... Yup, this is my life now..." Elphaba muttered quietly, putting her arm on the armrest and tried avoiding touching Glinda on accident. Eventually, as the movie went on, Elphaba and Glinda were both more comfortable than they had originally thought, and soon after...
"Elphie, everyone else is asleep..." Glinda muttered, she could also feel herself feeling tired as well, but when she looked up at Elphaba, she was looking longingly at her, deep in thought.
"Elphie?" Glinda said, and was cut off by a hug.
"Er... We should go to bed now, Glinda." Elphaba said, her voice scratchy from exhaustion.
"Mhm. Yeah..." Glinda replied, and yawned.
Both of them eventually fall asleep a few minutes later. But they didn't know, Boq was listening, and was at the kitchen drinking water. He was thinking about what had just happened, and smiled looking at all of his happy friends. Afterword, he got in his shared sleeping bag with Fiyero and also drifted to sleep.
When they all woke up, they were surprised to see Elphaba cooking. She was cooking some fried rice, making it the same as she did the other day in her house. She was humming to a tune playing on her phone.
"Oh yeah... She's finally cooking for us!" Fiyero yelled, startling everyone else awake.
"Hmmrrnn..." Boq mumbled, rubbing his eyes and groaning in frustration.
"I don't want to wake up, my head is splitting..." Boq complained, sitting up and rubbing his eyes while he was adjusting.
"As long as the food is free, I'm up for anything." Crope said and abandoned Tibbett under the blanket they shared.
"Noo... Come back, Cropee... I need warmth..." Tibbett complained and hugged his pillow instead.
Elphaba just ignored them and started plating the food. All of them eventually made it to the counter, except for Glinda. Glinda was still asleep, knocked fully out on the couch. Elphaba had taken a notice to that, and walked over to her, and nudged her gently.
"Glinda, it's time to get up and eat." Elphaba said, shaking Glinda softly. Glinda didn't really care, just grumbled and turned around, and tried to wrap her arms around an imaginary peson before waking up out of disappointment.
"Urgh... I wanna sleep foreverr... Do i really have to go and teach todayy...?" Glinda mumbles, almost crying while burying her face in her couch cushions.
"Yes, Glinda. You still have to teach, but it's a Saturday. Calm down." Elphaba said with a chuckle and stood up to supervise their friends.
"Okay, Boq. Would you rather... Drink a whole 4 cans of beer or fall down a flight of stairs." Fiyero said, his voice muffled by the rice.
"I'm falling down that flight of stairs, I have the worst hangover because i forgot to drink water... Fiyero, how do you do it..." Boq said, rubbing his head, and stuffing rice in his mouth.
"Elphaba, did you spike this? Or has it always been good." Crope asked, pointing the fork at Elphaba.
"I'm just good at cooking, Dumbass..." Elphaba yelled back, walking back over to them.
"She actually cooks well..." Tibbett muttered and stuffed his whole plate in his mouth before abandoning the plate, and sitting on the floor in front of the tv.
Glinda was now sitting up on the couch, her curly hair less than perfect, and everywhere around her. She got up and grabbed a popsicle from her freezer while starting up her coffee maker.
"You doing alright for yourself?" Elphaba asked, just starting to eat the fried rice, and slid Glinda a plate.
"Mnn... Sure, whatever... It just got cold." Glinda said, her face slightly flushed as she talked.
"Yeah, okay. You alright? No hangover?" Elphaba asked, tilting her head. Elphaba seemed to have no recollection of what she'd said.
"Nope, for some reason... Well, are you ready to teach in two days?" Glinda asked, smiling.
"Err... no." Elphaba said, and they both laughed.
Eventually, everyone was going, and so was Elphaba.
"Uhm, Bye Elphie... Make sure to talk to me more next time, okay? I missed you..." Glinda says while taking one of Elphaba's hands.
"We didn't talk for only a few hours, Glinda." Elphaba said, looking contently at Glinda.
"Felt like a million years, Elphie." Glinda pouted, hugging Elphaba.
"Yeah, yeah. See you Monday?" Elphaba asked.
"Yeah, I'll see you on Monday, Elphie. Drive safe!" Glinda said, and let go of Elphaba's hand
Elphaba closed the door behind her, and sighed. All of her energy seemed to drain, and she was more exhausted, and got in her car. She just mindlessly drove, and smiled to herself thinking about all she could remember from last ni-....
She pulled over as fast as possible when she remembered what she said.
"So you would date her?"
"Yeah, she's nice."
Elphaba put her face in her hands, her face was flushed as she got back on the road and eventually made it to her house. she couldn't actually believe that she had said that, so stupid of her in general. By the time she made it in her house, she was ready to collapse and forget about whatever the hell she's done.
She just took a shower, buried her head in a pillow, and knocked out at 2PM.
