Unwanted Attention
As expected from these two. Lucien sighed, already feeling exhausted. He could only hope they wouldn’t cause him trouble.
“Yes, guess who.” He forced a thin smile, keeping his voice neutral.
Liya crossed her arms, smirking. “Didn’t expect to see you here, cousin. Thought you’d stay locked up in that estate forever.”
Leo laughed. “Yeah, we were actually starting to think you were just a myth.”
Lucien’s eye twitched. Annoying as ever.
He glanced around. Students were already stealing glances their way, whispering among themselves. If they kept talking here, more unwanted attention would follow.
“Maybe another day to greet.” He straightened his glasses and adjusted the strap of his bag. “I still have classes, and I’d rather not be late.”
Liya pouted. “Tch. You’re no fun.”
Leo grinned but let him go. “Fine, fine. But don’t think we’ll let you off that easily, Lucien. We will catch up.”
Lucien only nodded and turned away, walking off before they could delay him further.
I have enough to deal with already.
just hope I don’t bump into someone—especially Vicente.
Lucien clenched his jaw. That guy was already getting on his nerves. He had been nothing but an annoyance since they first met, and Lucien had a feeling it wouldn’t stop anytime soon.
If only I had a gun, I would’ve shot half the people here by now.
He sighed, shaking his head. Calm down, Sunoo. You can’t just start a massacre. That’s not how you survive here.
Taking a deep breath, he focused on the path ahead. He just needed to get to class without any problems. No drama, no unnecessary interactions.
What could possibly go wrong?
And just as he finished that thought—
Thud!
Lucien collided with a firm chest, stumbling back.
“Watch where you’re going,” a familiar voice drawled.
Oh, for fuck’s sake.
Slowly looking up, he was met with Vicente’s smug smirk.
“You’re really everywhere, aren’t you, little Baldovery?”
Perfect. Just fucking perfect.
He massage his temple before glaring at him inside that thick glasses.
Vicente just stood there with creep watching him, an amused glint in his dark eyes.
Lucien shoved his glasses back on and shot him a glare. “You—shut the fuck up.”
Vicente raised a brow, lips twitching as if he was holding back a laugh.
Lucien gritted his teeth. “If I hear you running your mouth, I swear, I’ll kill you.”
And with that, he turned on his heel and stalked away, leaving Vicente standing there, chuckling to himself.
Damn bastard.
