It’s been 2 hours since the new Female attacked, all the heroes were rushed to hospitals. Deku and Kirishima suffered severe concussions, both are still asleep. Uraraka and Mount last both had their legs mostly healed, but had to be put in casts and braces while they recuperated before their next round of healing. Bakugou was rushed into surgery. Unfortunately, they weren’t able to find a way to reattach his arm and have it function correctly. A silver lining was, the break/tear was relatively clean, the doctors could, within reason, easily fix him up. Kaminari and Aizawa only suffered minor concussions. The doctors gave them some pain meds and told them to take it easy. Word of the attack spread like wildfire, though the details were sparse. Kaminari had a feeling not much information would get out, only major events like Bakugou losing his arm. Though he was sure there would be a cover up on how. The Hero’s Association probably doesn’t want the public knowing the number 2 hero got his arm bit off by some 14 meter woman who massacred 3 of the top 5 heroes and 5 of the top 15.

The blonde was laying in his bed, staring up at the ceiling. His hand moving on and off his left eye. He closed his left eye, seeing how everything was clear and normal. However when he switched, closing his right to look out of his left, everything was hazy. He could make out general shapes, but they were fuzzy, looking more like blobs of color. He let out a heavy sigh as he closed his eyes, his hand falling to his side on the hospital bed. “Well isn’t that just special…”

It was nice and quiet in his hospital room. He smiled to himself, maybe he could finally get some sleep. It’s been a long day, he needed some peace and quiet right now. He felt himself slowly relax, his eyelids getting heavy as his breathing slowed. He was on the verge of falling asleep when his hospital door slammed open loudly. His eyes shot open as he screamed, shooting up as his eyes darted to the door. He saw a distraught Momo standing in the doorway, tears falling down her cheeks. Shadowing behind her was Annie. Her hands were in her hoodie’s pockets. To anyone else, she looked like her normal bored, emotionless self. But Kaminari saw the hint of worry in her brow. She was someone who kept their emotions inside them.

The creator quickly ran over, throwing her arms around Kaminari. He paused for a second as he winced in pain. He was starting to realize he was a little more bruised than he thought. He slowly hugged them back, letting out a small laugh as he rubbed her head gently. “It’s ok Momo, I’m like, 90% fine. I just have a migraine and my left eye is messed up, but even so, the doctors say it’ll heal over time! Besides… I was one of the lucky ones…”. His tone went somber as his grip loosened slightly. The creator pulled away, slowly stepping back from the bed.

“What the hell happened, you were the only one they’d let us see… we bumped into Aizawa on the way in, but… he looked like he was still processing everything” Annie muttered out, her hands falling out of her hoodie’s pockets and to her sides.

Kaminari let out a shaky breath as he closed his eyes. He swallowed back whatever emotion was trying to force its way out of him as he started. “We… we were on our way back to the agency, we were just driving along, complaining about the rain, poking fun at each other, whatever. Then when we were stopped at a red light, someone shot a big bolt of electricity at the car, shorting it out and making it shut off. I managed to hotwire it as we drove off, whoever it was throwing more electricity at us. We turned a few sharp corners, thinking we lost them as we went down a straight shot of road. Then we looked behind us and they were flying around, using explosions. Like Bakugou”.

“Wait, they had 2 quirks? That’s not… a combination of 2 quirks sure, but those are 2 separate things”. Momo blinked a few times, trying to wrap her head around things.

“They shot several explosions at us, Bakugou managing to dodge them” he continued, his eyes opening wide as he stared at his hands. “Then they started climbing up into the air. At first we thought they were starting to peel off, or were trying to see what streets were coming up… but then…” he paused, shaking his head a little as he cleared his throat. “Then they swung themselves forward, pulling their hands in front of them. They cut open their hand, and just as I realized what was happening, that other Female titan was chasing us. We turned a corner thinking that could buy us a few more seconds. But it just killed people. She started tearing out chunks of buildings and throwing them. Some were just pieces of an office, some had people in them. When Midoriya started saying we should fight, she slammed her foot in front of the car and we crashed. When I came to, Midoriya and Bakugou were fighting her. So I just ran over. Soon followed by Kirishima and Uraraka.”

The blonde girl and the creator listened intently, doing their best to keep him calm. As he went.

“And then we started fighting as a group. And then we started winning. She was protecting her head with her arms, so Bakugou and Kirishima cut through the muscles on her shoulders, rendering her arms useless. She seemed like she was dazed, like we had the upper hand. We were winning… but then…”

“Then what?” Momo asked, her voice was hushed yet worried.

“Then… Bakugou got cocky. He went for a headshot like usual. But it was then we realized, we weren’t winning. She was just letting us have our fun. She was so fast, we didn’t even realize what happened till it was over. She launched forward and bit Bakugou’s arm off in an instant. At first we thought it was his side she got till she spit his arm out. If he had been any more to the left… h-he… he’d be dead. He would be missing the top half of his fucking body…”.

His voice quivered, tears starting to well up in his eyes as he brought his hands up to his face. He slowly held his head in his hands, hearing Momo whimper quietly, knowing she was holding back tears. “That’s when everything went to shit… Uraraka ran over to Bakugou, the rest of us stayed. Then the steam stopped. Her shoulders were fine. By the time I realized it she had swatted Midoriya into the buildings across the street like a fly. Then she smacked me and Kirishima away. I think I hit a sewer grate weird or something, probably where I got this and messed up my eye”. He slowly pointed up to the left side of his head, a sizable cut running over his eye. “The doctor’s said there’d be no scar, so I'm lucky for that. Anyways… uhm… when I was able to stop the spinning in my head, She was walking over. Er, she was stepping over. She knelt down in front of Uraraka and grabbed her off the ground like some toy… then… then she gripped her leg with their fingers like you're holding the knob on a thermostat. Then she just... twisted…”.

Everyone's bodies shuddered at the image, Kaminari pulling the hair out of his face. “Her leg snapped like a toothpick.. There was no resistance. I honestly thought she was going to Kill Uraraka… she had that look in her eye. But then Mount Lady showed up and distracted them. After she tossed Uraraka to the side, the 2 fought for a while. It was like a boxing match from a Sci Fi movie. Mount Lady was actually doing damage, and not like what we were doing, she actually had a pained look in her eyes. Then she lunged at Mount Lady. At first it was fine, but then they yanked Mount Lady’s leg, causing them to fall.”

He slowly looked over towards the 2 women, his eyes wide as he was reliving every moment. “You remember the move the Female pulled on Sashi in Shibuya, the one that tore her arm off?”. The 2 nodded, slowly realizing what he was implying.

“She started doing the same move with Mount Lady’s leg… luckily, Aizawa distracted them enough for Mount Lady to get a kick in. Unluckily, it seemed to piss them off. They snapped Mount Lady’s knee the wrong way, but before they could do anything else, Aizawa started trying to tie them up, or at least distract them more. It worked for a little, though she seemed to know his quirk. She always kept her eyes shut. He was about to cut her eye open when she grabbed a clump of his scarf. She swung him around for a while, then she grabbed him. She was smart about it too, she made sure he was facing the other way so he couldn’t see her. Not that he had the function to use his quirk anyways… not after being thrown around like that.” he glanced to the ground, closing his eyes as he shook his head a little. His mind was starting to wander.

“She was about to grab his head, when out of nowhere, there was some bright flash. All of a sudden her fingers were sliced off. She dropped Aizawa as Sa… er… some cloaked figure flew around her before spiraling around their arm, slicing it up with 2 weird looking swords. Then they suddenly landed on her head. And I swear to god her face went white. I never saw who was in the cloak, they always kept their back to me and Kirishima. Though Uraraka saw them, they actually made a point of kneeling down in front of her. They were talking, but I couldn’t hear them. All I saw was Uraraka’s face go white, looking like she saw a ghost. Then they got up, put their heel in Uraraka’s broken knee, and ran off”. Kaminari was almost certain he knew who the person in the cloak was. There was no mistaking the equipment they used or how they moved around with it. It was Sashi that saved them, but he played ignorant, knowing Momo would lose her shit if she found out. He glanced over, seeing Momo deep in thought as Annie rubbed her arm, looking up at the ceiling, seeming to process things.

“Was there anything special about what they wore, like the cloak or something?” Momo piped up out of nowhere, tilting her head.

Kaminari blinked, soon trying to rack his mind for something. “Their cloak, it was like a dark blue. And it had a pentagon in the middle, kinda looking like a home plate from baseball pointing down. In the pentagon it had this flower, like a rose I think, with white and blue wings”.

Annie’s eyes widened slowly as she kept her gaze up at the ceiling. “Rose der Freiheit…”. The blonde mumbled out, drawing the attention of Kaminari and Momo.

“What does that mean? Is it something special?” Momo asked, raising an eyebrow as she slowly looked towards the blonde girl.

Annie glanced over, her eyes regaining their half lidded, bored look as she leaned forward to look at the creator. “It means ‘rose of freedom’. It’s a children's story back in Germany. The story goes like this: there's this evil king, forcing his subject to do whatever he bid whatever the cost. After just under a century of this king's rule, a single soldier rebelled, declaring that they’d free the kingdom from the king’s tyrannical rule. They were told to have fought the entirety of the king’s army with no armor. All they had was a sword and a cape with a winged rose, one white and one blue. The white wing represents strength and the blue bravery. Unless it’s a coincidence, your mystery hero probably knows about that story”.

Momo almost instantly burst into beams of hope. “Do you think it’s Sashi!? What if it’s Sashi! I remember her talking about that story once! She wanted to add that rose to her suit, or like a jacket or was it…”

“A cloak?” Annie looked at the creator, her expression taking on an annoyed hue as she crossed her arms. Momo nodded, rubbing the back of her head, embarrassed. Kaminari only sighed, shrugging as he laid back in his hospital bed.

“Eh, I doubt it. Sashi wouldn’t stomp someone’s broken leg. Let alone, her hero equipment doesn’t have swords or anything to hold them”. He needed to knock Momo off that pedestal. It hurt to do it, but Sashi has told him personally she didn’t want to talk to anyone yet. He was hoping he could keep the creator contained for a little while, at least to just stall for Sashi to get her head out of her ass.

Momo huffed, rolling her eyes “well, Uraraka was kinda being a bitch to her, so…”. Her words made both blondes pause, slowly looking at her. Kaminari blinked a few times while Annie had a confused look spread across her features. They kinda just shook it off, the 3 sitting and talking for a while before Kaminari was told he would be discharged in a little while. He was slightly relieved, though still worried about the others. Especially Bakugou, they had lost a lot of blood. The scene replayed in Kaminari’s mind on repeat, the sound of the Female’s teeth crushing and tearing through the explosive hero. The flash of her movements, the thud of him slamming into the ground. The careless look in her eyes. It just seemed like she finally dealt with some annoying distraction. Her eyes barely had any emotion in them as she stared at his cold, bleeding body. Kaminari shivered slightly, closing his eyes as Momo and Annie just watched, wishing they could help.

Several hours later, Kaminari finally was dropped off at home by Annie. He slowly got out of the car as he let out a heavy sigh. He slowly waved and thanked Annie, the blonde girl nodding and waving slightly before driving off, back to the agency he would assume. He slowly turned to face his house, slowly walking up the front steps. He gripped the door handle, turning it as he slowly stumbled in, throwing his sunglasses on a side table next to the door. He squinted as he saw some lights on down the hall near the living room and kitchen area. He narrowed his eyes, electric sparks quietly starting to pop off his fingertips as he headed towards the lights. He was certain he turned everything off when he left this morning, unless the concussion was messing with his brain. He heard someone rustling around in his fridge as he walked quickly down the hall, turning the corner, yelling as he swung his hand forward. Even though his head hurt like hell, no damn freeloader was gonna go through his stuff and freeshop. He would fight till he couldn't, this is his house for god's sake

Before he could even get his fist near whoever they were, the sound of metal grinding on metal filled the air. Soon a long, sharp blade was being pressed against the side of his throat. He took a baited breath as he froze in place. The fridge door slowly closed as his eyes were met with a set of glaring hazel ones. However both their expressions softened as they saw who was on the other end of each other’s attacks.

“The hell are you doing home?! You were in an attack! Shouldn’t you almost be dead or something?” Sashi chided on, quickly hugging onto the blonde as he quickly hugged back. He laughed, rolling his eyes before slowly pulling away from the hug. He poked at the left side of his face and smirked.

“Not quite, I got off easier than the others. Just a messed up eye and a mild concussion is all. I’m just on bed rest for a week and I have to wear an eyepatch like I'm some pirate or some battle hardened veteran hero~”. He laughed getting into a playful fighting pose when talking about the last part. But soon his smile faltered, his gaze dropping to the floor as his arms slowly lowered to his sides. He shouldn’t really be joking now, he just managed to get lucky. If he was hit as hard as Midoriya, he would have been toast. Sashi gently placed a hand on his shoulder, worry filling her eyes as she tilted her head.

“Thanks… for saving us earlier. If you hadn’t shown up… Bakugou might have been the best case scenario…”. He mumbled, glancing towards the brunette as his voice quivered. “She looked like she was full on ready to… kill us all. Hell, if Bakugou was anymore to the left he would be dead! I just… I’ve been trying to wrap my head around her since she kicked your ass in Shibuya… but it doesn’t make sense. I don’t think she’s a villain, or at least, not with the league, because she always shows up after the attacks, or not during the attacks at all. If she was with the league, then she would be at the main attacks. Also, back in Shibuya, the few Nomu that were left, went after her like they did you. So why attack your own ally unless they aren’t your ally.” he rambled out, his thoughts just starting to flow.

Sashi paused, her eyes narrowing slightly as she turned to face the blonde. It was slowly starting to dawn on her what he was starting to imply. “Kaminari, what’re you-?”

“They aren’t with the league, but they went after heroes, and only specific heroes. Me, Kirishima, Aizawa, Mount Lady… we were all collateral damage. It was like she was targeting Uraraka, Deku, and Bakugou. They were the only ones she used excessive force on. She squeezed Uraraka and shattered her knee, she smacked Midoriya across a 4 way street and almost entirely through a concrete building, and she cripples Bakugou. But me and Kiri only get smacked away lightly, our landing on the street hurt more than her. Aizawa got swung around but, besides that he was fine. Mount Lady only has a broken knee. The only people who she actively went after, unprovoked, were the other 3”. His eyes narrowed, glancing down at his palms as he shook his head. What was her goal, the hell did she want with them. He paused when he felt Sashi’s presence slowly walk away. He cast his gaze up, glancing over to see her heading for his kitchen table. She sat down, letting out a soft sigh as she let out a strained, almost hysterical giggle.

“God damn… I guess I just prolonged the inevitable then” she pushed hair bangs back, glancing over to Kaminari. “Ya know, when I talked to Uraraka, she looked so horrified, like she saw some ghost. Then again, I'm assuming they all think I’m dead. And I actually threatened her too, which was new for me. Told her that if she told anyone i was anywhere near Tokyo, i’d do her a favor and slice her leg right off”. She let out an exasperated sigh, slowly pulling out one of the blades on her hips. “Though, I guess threats are meaningless when you have another ‘monster’ chasing you. Though, I doubt she’s grateful I even saved her, who would want the monster incarnate to save you from the jaws of death … uptight bitch”

Kaminari’s eyes widened slightly, stepping forwards. His mind was having a hard time wrapping around what she was saying. “But, you’re still a hero-”. He was almost instantly cut off by the brunette bursting into laughter. She kept laughing for a minute before she clutched her sides, wiping some tears from her eyes.

“Pfft, that’s funny Kaminari. Me? A hero? You saw how the agency, no, the Association, talked about me! I broke the machine, and engineers have no use for broken cogs. If they only see me as a threat, then I don't wanna be a slave to their system. Will I still save people? Yes. However, it will be on my own account. Just a lone soldier trying to fight against some unjust, shitty system of wanna be heroes that think just because they’re famous and get the label ‘hero’ they can do whatever they want. Makes me feel bad for the people who really work their asses off like you or Annie”. She crossed her legs, her demeanor had changed since the last time she had snuck into his house. Though it was still clearly Sashi, things really had changed. She held herself like she couldn’t care what people said to her.

“What about Momo, she’s worked really hard too hasn’t she?”. He tilted his head, hearing a stifled snicker come from her.

“Momo? Work? The ‘Prodigy Girl’ everyone loves? She has had the easy road through life since I've met her. She was always smart, she was always ‘destined’ to be an amazing hero. And given the stories I’ve heard from everyone, that carried through High school. She was literally asked to join UA, showered with affection. She dains to let you have her attention. But all she does is put on a facade. And once something happens, and the facade crumbles… you see the real her. The ruthless, cruel, her. That won’t hesitate to throw away countless years of trust and bonds because you fucked up once”. Her face contorted into some kind of mix between hurt and anger. She felt her heart crack as she closed her eyes, leaning her head back as she faced the ceiling.

The blonde slowly took a seat at the table. He raised an eyebrow, processing the brunette's response. “But she was defending you in the-” he was cut off by Sashi clicking her tongue.

“She was covering her bases. She’s just deflecting everything. She puts on a shield of ‘oh, i’m responsible, but you people also did blah blah blah’, and makes sure the blame isn’t on her. It makes everyone feel like shit so she doesn’t have to feel bad anymore, it’s pathetic. She’s been doing it since grade school. And all her ‘looking’ for me, probably just her making sure she doesn’t have to feel bad. If I’m not dead, she doesn’t have the weight of me killing myself on her. Thus, she can move on and not care about me, she would have successfully gotten me out of her life. If she knows she didn’t indirectly kill me, then who cares how I die, she certainly won’t”.

Her eyes were half lidded as she stared at the ceiling. Her tone was monotone, but Kaminari could feel the hurt bubbling up inside her. His own eyes were wide as he stared at the brunette across the table from him. He was astounded. He never thought in a million years he’d hear anything remotely like that fall out of Sashi’s face. About Momo of all people.

His voice trembled as he looked at her. His eyes slightly welled up with tears as he stood up, his hands slam against the table slightly. “Is that… How lowly you think of her? She has been a trainwreck since you ran away! She is constantly blaming herself for you running away! And sure, she partly is, but holy crap Sashi! She misses you! She friggin loves you! She is in so much pain because you aren’t with her, and you sit here thinking she couldn’t care less whether you live or die?! That’s just insulting to her! I know I don’t know exactly what happened between you 2, I only got bits when I saw her when you ran out. I know you killed her mom, but you weren’t you, and she knows that! Sashi, she has been dragging Annie, Kirishima, and me out on our days off to look for you! And i have to sit there pretending that you don’t do… this all the time! She wants you back in her life, and she wants to apologize for whatever she said! She really misses you! She isn’t putting on some act when she talks about you! She never has, once! Even in High school! She’d always mention you fondly, especially around the competition between our 2 schools! She was constantly telling everyone we’d love you! And sure, that didn’t exactly end up tobe a great day, but even after you were stopped, she literally screamed at people who were calling you a monster! In our whole 3 years at UA, that was the first time we’ve ever heard her scream! She cares about you! Why can’t you open your goddamn eyes?!”.

It was silent for a while. Kaminari caught his breath as he watched the brunette. All she did was glance at him out of the corner of her eyes. Her face was still pointed at the ceiling, her eyes still half lidded as they looked at the blonde. “Hard to have sympathy for the person you loved more than anything after you hear them scream at the top of their lungs that they hate you with every fiber of their being. That you’re some dumb monster that needs to leave”. Her hazel eyes narrowed, watching Kaminari. She watched as he tried to protest, only taking her gaze back up to the ceiling. “I believe her exact words were I HATE you! With every fiber of my being! I hate you so goddamn much! I want you to get the hell out of my life! You’re just a fucking monster that needs to leave this world! Now get out of my life forever you dumb fucking monster’. But ya know. 'She could still care about me’”. Her tone was dripping with sarcasm as she said the last part. She was holding back so many tears as she repeated what Momo had said. She remembered it word for word. Something that would hurt you that badly, isn’t something you tend to forget. Those words would probably stick with her for the rest of her life. If they came from anyone else, she’d probably be sad for a while, but eventually get over it. But… they came from the one person she always thought she could trust, through thick and thin. But… she was wrong. That would be too perfect, and this world is too cruel. There was no way something so good would ever last. She has a knack for messing up good things, often making her wonder if shitty karma was really her quirk.

She wouldn’t lie, she still loved Momo. She’d probably never stop loving Momo, but she knew the second the creator saw her again, she’d immediately hate Sashi. The memories of what Sashi did would flood back in like a broken dam and she’d just scream her head off again. It was probably just best if she stayed hidden. She knew Momo would find someone else, she’s cute, smart, amazing… an amazing hero. She could have had, like, 14 girlfriends if she wanted, she didn’t need Sashi. It wasn’t like she had a shot anyways. She was just some girl from Berlin, who is now a wanted fugitive. If anything, Momo would act all happy then push her off to the police, or other heroes. Few people actually care about her. And even then, she was probably on thin ice given the face she just… exists.

She let out a heavy sigh. She looked over towards the blonde, seeing him look like he was having a mental breakdown from hearing what she said. She slowly got up, walking past him as she put a hand on his shoulder. “It’s late. Go to bed. I’m gonna crash on your couch, I’ll leave tomorrow morning”. And with that, she unhooked her gear, setting it on his coffee table as she pulled one of the blankets off the back and grabbed a throw pillow from one of his chairs and laid down. She heard a muffled ‘g’night’ come from the blonde as he walked away, shutting off the lights. And then she was alone in the darkness. Her thoughts ran wild as she kept coming back to one thing, and one thing only.

Momo

She felt her lip quiver slightly as she closed her eyes, curling op on the couch as she muttered to herself. She somehow hoped by some miracle this was all some horrible nightmare, and that she’ll wake up in bed, to her real life. Her real, honest life where she was a normal hero with the love of her life.

“I love you… Momo…”.

Not long after, she slowly falls asleep, lulling off to the land of dreams.

________________________________________________________________________________

Sashi groaned slightly, her eyes as light poured in through her window. Wait, was this her window? She slowly glanced around, there was a lot of white and light gray around the room. She glanced down to the bed, seeing a white comforter and gray sheets. Her gaze trailed to her left hand, noticing something shiny. She raised her hand up slowly, seeing a ring on her finger. Soon the door opened to the room. She looked over to see Momo peeking her head in, smiling softly as she saw the brunette awake. The creator soon walked over to the bed, climbing on as she proceeded to sit on Sashi’s lap, wrapping her arms around their shoulders. Sashi wasn’t even thinking as her arms slowly went around the creator’s waist.

“Morning sleepyhead~” Momo teased, her face inching closer to Sashi’s. The brunette only let out a small snicker as she leaned in as well. How could she forget, this was her and Momo’s apartment in downtown Tokyo. They’ve been married for 2 years by now, and have been together since 2nd year of high school. Somehow they managed to work it out even though they went to different schools. This was the woman Sashi loved more than anything, and there was no way in hell she could mess anything up. Her life was perfect.

“Morning~” Sashi teased back, pressing her lips to Momo’s in a soft kiss, keeping them close in her arms. Life really was fine, nothing bad ever happened. Not at all.

The 2 walked out into the kitchen area, sitting down at the counter where Momo had made breakfast. Sashi started eating immediately, smiling brightly as she hummed. Momo’s phone rang, causing her to get up and answer it in their room. Suddenly there was something thick swarming the air, causing Sashi to feel anxious. What was happening? Why did she feel like that? Was something wrong? There was no way anything could go wrong, right?

Sashi kept eating, tapping her foot on the ground as she enjoyed the warm sunlight pouring into the apartment. However, it soon was blocked by something, causing the warmth to be replaced by the cold shadows. She slowly looked towards the windows on the far side of the apartment. Her hazel eyes widened, her hands starting to feel all clammy as she slowly stood. Her heart started to race out of fear when she took a step back, trying to process what she was seeing.

Outside her window was a massive eyeball. It’s blue iris seemed to glow against the shadows as it stared directly at her. She saw strands of creamy blonde hair fall in front of the eye as it pulled back, showing part of a face. She saw sunlight start to pour in, though she saw the dark outline of a large hand balling into a tight fist. In an instant, the fist rams through the windows and the wall, crashing into Sashi. She felt something hard hit her back as she yelped in pain. Only it took her a second she didn’t yelp, she roared.

When she opened her eyes, she was surrounded by a city in flames. People screaming and running, heroes trying to help and trying to fight. She glanced down at herself, noticing she was in her titan mode. Blood covered her feet and hands, as well as some splattered all over her. Her eyes looked over towards the cream haired female, seeing her swat away heroes like they were bugs as she walked towards the brunette. Sashi felt something start to burn inside her, growling slightly as she forced herself up. As she stood, she noticed the other female get into a boxing stance. Sashi’s eyes narrowed slightly, letting out a loud roar as she charged towards the cream haired female. The cream haired female only twisted her body to the side, her leg swinging up as her shin slammed into Sashi’s throat. The sound of bones cracking and flesh tearing filled the air as Sashi’s head flew off her torso. Her head slammed into a building, soon falling to the ground as rubble fell around her. Her body spewed blood as her fists kept swinging for a while before being easily torn apart by the other female. Sashi just watched, soon her eyes slowly moved to look at the pile of rubble in front of her head. She felt tears start to well up at what she saw.

Laid out before her, was a headless Kaminari stuck under hunks of cement. Kirishima crushed under a large piece of rebar and metal. Annie skewered with large metal poles and shards of glass, her right arm only being held on by some tendons, dangling freely. And lastly, Momo. Missing a leg, looking at Sashi’s disembodied head in horror. Her breathing was ragged and terrified as she quickly shrieked.”Fuckng monster! I married a fucking monster from hell! Why the fuck did i ever love you?! How could I ever love you?! You just need to disappear from this world and di-”.

Her screams were cut short by the other female’s foot slamming down onto the creator, crushing her instantly. Sashi couldn’t scream, she couldn’t cry. All she could do was look up at the woman towering over her as they slowly raised her foot. The bloody splatter of Momo dripped off as a smirk grew across the other female’s lips. The next thing she knew, the cream haired female slammed her foot down on her head, the last thing she heard was her skull cracking.

Sashi’s eyes fluttered open as she felt sunlight pouring onto her face. However it was soon blocked by something. Her groggy gaze glanced at what was causing the shadow. She looked up, seeing a female figure towering over her. Her mind started to race as she quickly tried to figure out what was going on. The figure held themselves like the other titan, their hair almost looked the same color as her mind went into overdrive. Nononono, this can’t be happening. She was awake! This isn't another nightmare! She was in Kaminari’s apartment!

She sat up quickly, rubbing the sleep from her eyes, letting her eyes adjust to the light as she looked at the female in front of her. As her vision corrected, she slowly saw the face of a concerned Annie. Their sea blue eyes filled with worry as they looked over at her, causing Sashi to breathe a sigh of relief. Though in the back of her mind something was still bugging her, but she just pushed it back. She heard an angry Kaminari walking down the hall, hearing him let out an aggravated breath as he glared at the blonde girl.

“God damnit Annie, i’ve told you before you can’t just barge into my house because you think Sashi is here. Just because you were right this time doesn’t mean you can continue to do it!” he crossed his arms over his chest. His blonde hair all messy from just waking up as he walked over towards the 2 women. “Why do you even wanna see her anyways?”

“I just wanted to see how she was doing. You’re the only one she’s shown herself to, so I just assumed you would be sheltering her”. Her eyes looked at Kaminari, their usual bord look filled up her expression. She took her gaze off the male, looking to Sashi as she tilted her head to the side. “So. Are you doing ok? I heard you actually saved those assholes yesterday, surprised you didn’t just let ‘em die, they deserve it”.

Kaminari only glared at her more. He rolled his eyes, shaking his head as he threw his hands in the air. “I’m friends with a psychopath and a fugitive. I couldn’t make this up if I tried”. The 2 women slowly look over, their eyes narrowing.

Sashi just shook her head before pulling her hair back into a ponytail. Her eyes slowly fell down to the blanket covering her legs, trying to remember why she saved them. To a certain degree Annie was right. They got their karma for the shit they pulled on her. But she didn’t think they deserved to die, maybe the attack would have made them realize that their power wasn’t some great thing? She was really grasping at straws. She tried to think of some reason she saved them, but in the end she couldn’t. All that came to her mind was how it was… the right thing to do. Her gaze slowly looked up at Annie, seeing the blonde raise an eyebrow, waiting for her response. “I considered it. Letting her kill them. I was sitting on the rooftops watching when they started spinning around her. It was a good plan, not letting her attack, wearing her down till she transformed”.

Her gaze shifted to Kaminari, seeing his eyes widen slightly. The male stepped forwards, his voice starting to tremble. “Wait, so you saw all that play out, and you didn’t try and help?”

Sashi’s eyes narrowed, soon looking away from the blonde male. She took a deep breath as she looked out the window, seeing the Tokyo skyline in the distance. “Well, in all honesty, I thought it was going to work. When her arms fell, I started to leave. Then I heard Bakugou’s explosions get erratic, then I heard his signature laugh. That’s when I knew it was going to shit”. She turned from the window, looking at both Kaminari and Annie. “Yes, I sat back and watched as Bakugou lost his arm, as Deku was smacked away like a bug, when Uraraka got her knee snapped like a twig. I watched, and I enjoyed it. Watching those asshats get hurt. What would have made it better was if Mina and Jiro were there too. Seeing those bitches get hurt would have made it even better. Those 5, they deserved what they had coming to them. If they looked at me and saw a monster, someone who lost control once, who never meant to hurt anyone. Then it’s only fitting they get hurt by someone who was actually trying to hurt them. I only got involved because if it didn’t, you, Kirishima, Aizawa, and Mount Lady would wind up more hurt than you already are. I wish I was faster so Mount Lady would only have a few bruises instead of a broken knee, but my equipment jammed for a second”.

The electric hero slowly trembled. He was having a hard time processing what he was hearing. “So. you, only saved us because Kirishima, Me, Aizawa, and Mount Lady were hurt. You didn’t care about… anyone else? Deku had a severe concussion from being shot through a building! Uraraka almost lost her fucking leg! Bakugou will probably never be a hero again! I get they treated you like shit, but what the hell Sashi! What was going through your head that let you just sit back and watch as they got massacred?!”

“‘Why didn’t Mount Lady and Aizawa let that other thing kill you’ is what one of those notes on the boxes for me to pack my things in said. That was from Bakugou. ‘I’m disgusted we called you a hero’, that was from Uraraka. ‘Murderer’ and that was from the new, shining Symbol of Peace”. Her eyes were dull, lifeless as she looked directly into Kaminari. Her expression was a mix of rage and pain. “Those are what kept me from helping. Those are what made me enjoy watching them get beaten. Everytime i see their faces on a billboard, or in an interview where they talk about current events, or tell stories. All I see, all I hear, are those comments they said about me, all their hopes and dreams of the gruesome ways I could die. That’s what’s going through my head when I see them. They aren’t heroes to me anymore. They’re just morons who only think of themselves and how their fans see them. If anyone threatens them in any way, they outcast that person. Case and point me. Bakugou has let his anger control him countless times and he’s number 2. I lost control once, and I had a public trial and lost almost all the people I thought I could lean on. This damn world isn’t fair. I used to only think that meant only some people get promotions or whatever, but now I realize, if you seem like a threat to anyone, you don’t matter”.

Annie slowly stepped back, glancing towards Kaminari. The male was frozen, watching as he slowly closed his fists.

“When I was helping out in that village before I came back here. Some of the kids were watching an interview between some news outlet and Uraraka along with Bakugou. And when they were asked about the attack on Shibuya and about me… they had the audacity to act...concerned for me. They said they hoped that I was safe and that they were doing their best to try and find me. Which, as you know, was bullshit. The ironic part was, 2 days later, that video of Momo going off on everyone for calling me some monster went viral. They’re just a bunch of frauds trying to protect their public image”.

Sashi watched as the 2 tried to find something to say, seeing them run through what she could only assume was countless responses. She only shook her head, tossing the blanket off her as she got up. She didn’t have any time to waste here. She still acted like a hero, even if her licence meant nothing anymore. She started strapping on her gear, starting with the fuel tanks on her thighs. They were on a pivot now to hold onto the blades that were slotted in on top of them. Since her time away, she has modified her equipment. She moved the thruster from her back to the back of her belt to accommodate her new cloak. She adjusted the small boxes on either hip to make sure they were positioned right. After she made sure everything was aligned, she started attaching the fuel cables to make sure everything worked. She then grabbed her cloak, swinging it over and onto her. She clipped it shut in front, soon pulling her hood up over her head. Her eyes glanced to the others, pushing past them as she headed towards Kaminari’s back door. She paused when she heard the electric hero take a sharp breath.

“What the hell are you gonna do? Are you just some vigilante now? Are you just going around saving people by whatever means necessary? If one of the heroes from any agency catches you-” he started, getting cut off from her opening the door.

She looked back, her hazel eyes staring at him. She slowly pulled the handles off her belt, holding onto them tightly. “I’m saving people. If villains get hurt, oh well. I don’t have an agency or some set of rules holding me back from saving lives”. Her tone was serious, her eyes swelling with determination as she turned to face the 2 blondes. “And if anyone gets in my way or tries to catch me… I won’t hesitate to fight. Especially those 5 asshats. Er… now 4, given Bakugou’s condition, so I suggest, telling them to stay out of my way”.

“So you’re just gonna be some damn soldier, fighting against some system you can’t even fight? Sashi. Being in a story and the real world are 2 different things. One person can’t just single handedly beat every hero and every villain! That rose on your back won’t mean shit if you’re thrown in jail or if some Nomu eats you!”

“Watch me”

And with that, she turned around, making her hood up as she pulled the triggers. The harpoons shot out of the boxes, the sound of metal cables screeching on the wheels on her hips filled the air. The harpoons dug into neighboring houses as she was yanked forward. She reeled back one as she swung through the neighborhood. She was headed towards the city, hoping not to run into any other heroes besides the ones she was just talking to. Like she said earlier, she wouldn’t hesitate to fight any if they got in her way. She knew there’d be no reasoning with any of them, she was just some deadly monster. When she first arrived, she ran into some from Todoroki’s agency. She had to threaten to bite her hand, which caused them to freeze long enough for her to get away. Though that trick probably won’t work again. She glanced at her legs, seeing the blades glisten in the sunlight as she swung through the air towards the city. She needed to be ready. If needs be, she needed to be ready to use those blades against heroes to get out of a tight situation.

She needed the conviction to kill if she wanted to stay free.
