It was several hours into the same day Sashi had swung off from Kaminari’s house. It was a pretty normal day for Tokyo, hot and humid. Though the people running around didn’t seem to mind. They all seemed to be having fun and laughing as they went about their days. They all seemed to have forgotten the overhanging threat of a villain attack. Though that was just the amount of trust they put into heroes.

Across the bridge on the other side of the bay, a thin man with long, blue hair sat at the edge of a dock. The long, dark jacket he had on pooled up behind him, like a waterfall falling into a lake. His feet hang off the edge, barely above the water. His crimson eyes locked on the Tokyo Tower that stood proud. His hand slowly reached up to his neck, dragging his nails up and down his skin as he scratched at the dryness. Looking at that tower both calmed him and disgusted him. It calmed him by being a beacon for him to look towards when he was feeling lost, or needed to cool his head. But it disgusted him because it’s constantly crawling with heroes. Always on patrol or doing photoshoots or other stupid things heroes do. And that disgusted him to no end. He needed to rid the world of heroes and their filth. Show the people they’re nothing, and don’t deserve to be worshipped like gods. He slowly turned behind him, hearing a door shut. His eyes fell onto a tall girl walking out of a large, abandoned warehouse. This area used to be bustling with business, but over time, the people moved over towards the city center, leaving everything here to rust away. With a quiet groan, he slowly stood up, glancing back to the water before turning to face the girl slowly walking towards him.

The girl had on a white button up shirt that was loosely buttoned together. She had on a dark navy skirt that fell down to her mid thighs, a knife holster hugging her thigh just a little too tight. Along with a long jacket much like Dabi’s only in a tan/sand color instead of black. Her ash blonde hair flowed over her shoulders and down to her bid back. A black bandana with a light gray stripe covered the top of her head, keeping her hair out of her face. Their black combat boots thud against the ground as she walked over, holding her hands behind her back. Her golden eyes were narrowed slightly as a sadistic grin spread across her lips. A soft giggle erupted out of her as she stopped near the beginning of the dock where the male had been sitting.

“Shiggy~ someone’s inside waiting for you~”. Her tone was borderline seductive as she spoke. However the blue haired male only rolled his eyes, slowly walking back towards the warehouse. His crimson orbs slowly followed the ash blonde girl before passing her. He licked his dry, cracked lips as he shook his head.

“I told you not to call me that, Toga”

The girl let out another giggle as she shrugged, following after them. Shigaraki only sighed, pulling a pair of gloves out of his coat, slipping them onto his hands. The gloves only covered the thumb, ring finger, and pinkie of both hands, leaving the index and middle fingers exposed. He had lost his hand covers in a large fight long ago, so his face was left exposed to the world. His crimson eyes narrowed as he slowly grabbed onto the door handle, hearing it creak as it turned, soon opening to a dimly lit section of the warehouse. Pipes constituted the ceiling as green tanks bordered the side walls, different types of Nomu in various stages of development floating inside. On the far side of the warehouse, the floors were the same type of tanks, only on a much larger scale. Crouched down looking into one of the massive tanks was a cloaked figure, Dabi and Spinner standing behind them slightly. In the dim light, Shigaraki could see the figure’s cloak to be a grayish color. He raised an eyebrow, glancing over towards Toga, the blonde only shrugging again in response. The blue haired villain rolled his eyes, looking back to the figure as he cleared his throat.

“The hell do you want? Why are you looking at our special… specimens…” he questioned, adjusting his gloves. He felt something was off, keeping his guard up as he walked over. He couldn’t figure out what their game was yet, though it seemed they waltzed on in, asking for him.

The figure paused, slowly standing as they adjusted their hood, making sure it was up as they turned. The cloak itself came down to their thighs, hiding their arms. They had what looked like jeans on along with some knee high boots with a little knee cover in the front. They had a black facemask on which hid their nose and mouth along with reflective sunglasses to cover their eyes. The hood covered their hair, also casting a shadow over the top part of their face. They obviously didn’t want anyone to know who they were, though Shigaraki had no clue on why.

“The heroes are calling you ‘the new league’, though I thought the Paranormal Liberation Front had a better ring to it”. The voice was feminine, which caught almost everyone off guard. The only one not surprised was Toga, though Shigaraki figured it was because they had spoken to the blood thirsty villain to get him. But suddenly the voice clicked in his head, he had heard it somewhere before. He narrowed his eyes, his crimson orbs glowing against the dim lighting as he racked his brain. It had to be somewhat recently, the sound of her voice was too fresh in his mind. He hadn’t met with anyone for a long time, at the very least anyone hiding themselves with a cloak. This was starting to irritate him, why the hell couldn’t he remember. He scratched at his throat trying to piece together what he had. He’s heard her voice somewhat recently, so that ruled out some older people he knew from back in the old PLF days. They also didn’t want to be known, given the extent they went to hide their face. They want to remain anonymous, and they sound familiar. He scratched at his throat, his fingers starting to leave marks as his brain worked. All of a sudden he froze, his eyes widening as they locked onto the cloaked woman. A large grin spread over his dry, cracked lips as he snickered.

“I know you, you’re the one who told us where Deku was~ where to release the giant Nomu~ you’re the traitor that called us over the phone~ no wonder I couldn’t figure you out till you spoke”. He chided on. His hands fell to his sides, sliding into his pockets as he raised an eyebrow. “And aren’t you the one who went after the pro’s the yesterday after our attack? So wouldn’t you be the ‘new Female Titan’ the heroes are so on edge about~? So, wouldn’t this make you a traitor? Or at least a defector?” his eyes narrowed, seeing the cloaked woman in front of him shift slightly at his remarks.

“I just do what I need to survive in this world… no more, no less, if I have to sell out some people, oh well” her voice was monotone, yet serious at the same time. Shigaraki knew she wasn’t someone to mess with, especially with that quirk of hers. She went after several of the top heroes alone, she was either crazy or that confident in herself. But… she went after his prey, and while he was grateful for her help with indirectly making the Shibuya attack a success, she was a threat.

“It seems we have the same  way of thinking, and I never properly thanked you for Shibuya, while it wasn’t the best victory we had, it was still a victory” he spoke like he was making sure he carefully thought about the words he said. He slowly stepped forward, his hands remained in his pockets. His eyes slowly glanced over towards Dabi and Spinner, seeing them lock eyes with him, giving a small nod. He heard Toga walking up towards him from behind. His grin stayed spread across his face as he tilted his head to the side.

“Sure I guess, and like I said, I just do this to get by…”

“Makes sense, however… you went after the number 1, and we’re after the number 1, so~” his voice was starting to sound like a combination of irritated and serious. His eyes narrowed as he smirked softly, pulling one hand out of his jacket as he held it up limp for a second. “We can’t have others trying to go after our prey~”. He snickered as he waved his hand in the air. Not even a split second later, spinner almost instantly forced her onto her knees, pulling out one of his ragged, chipped katanas. Dabi’s hand went ablaze with a bright blue flame as he held his palm towards the cloaked female. Shigaraki only snickered as he pulled off one of the gloves. He was still slightly on edge, he had no idea what triggered the titan quirk. But he was sure if he killed her quick enough, then it wouldn’t matter.

An annoyed sigh came from the woman as her hands came up slowly in a surrender. Shigaraki paused for a second, soon starting to walk closer. He closed his hand into a tight fist a few times before opening his hand and turning his palm to her. However he froze when her own palms faced towards the ceiling. He was slightly confused, until he saw her palms start to glow. He remembered that sight all too well from that Bakugou kid.

Before he could warn the others, 2 massive explosions burst from her palms into the air. The force of the explosions knocked both Dabi and Spinner away. Shigaraki stumbled back, his crimson eyes glaring at the female as she slowly stood. Dabi let out an annoyed grunt as he unleashed a large plume of blue, hot flames from his arms. The woman burst up, using the explosions to propel her as she grabbed onto the pipes hanging from the ceiling. A thick layer of smoke clung between her and the villains. Spinner slowly got up, pulling out the other blade from his back as he glared up into the smokey cloud. Dabi narrowed his eyes, his hands staying ablaze as he tried to figure out if she moved. With a loud crack, a large bolt of yellow lightning burst from the cloud, slamming down onto the ground between the flame and lizard villains. Spinner’s eyes widen, quickly turning to Shigaraki, his eyes filling with worry.

“She has more than one quirk?! That’s not possible! We would know if All For One was passed-” he was cut off by the cloaked figure slamming her foot into his head as she fell from the ceiling. He fell to the ground as the woman quickly jumped off him, rushing towards the flame villain, her hands sparking and starting to glow. Dabi let a sadistic grin spread across his face as more of his arms burst into flames, shooting plumes at the woman charging at him. Parts of her cloak started to singe, the edges looking more burnt as she tried to dodge. She managed to dodge, slamming her hand onto his face, a blue spark coming off her hand as she pushed him back, She pelted massive explosions at him, the shockwaves blowing him back even farther. Groaning, Spinner pulled himself up as he charged at her. He swung his blades at her, causing her to bend backwards to try and dodge. On one of the swings, the edge of one of his jagged katanas caught the corner of her sunglasses as it grazed her cheek, pulling them off. 2 cold, sea blue eyes locked onto him, making him freeze in place as she shot towards him. She pelted a large explosion towards the villain, causing him to fly back, slamming into one of the Nomu tanks. She quickly spun around, her eyes glaring at Dabi. She started to rush towards him, only for a large plume of fire to erupt from his palm. The fire slammed into her shoulder, burning through her cloak and clothes and singeing her actual shoulder before she managed to get out of the way. She held her arm as she grit her teeth, lurching forward to attack the fire user again when she felt a thin arm snake around her waist in what felt like a weird hug. When she looked back, she saw Toga’s beady, golden eyes staring at her, a psychopathic smile spread across her face as she giggled. The woman was too late when she saw Toga’s other arm swing down, stabbing their knife deep into the woman’s thigh.

There was a long silence before Toga giggled, pushing the knife down harder into the woman’s leg. However the knife wielder froze, her expression turning from crazed pleasure to fear in under a second. Her golden eyes were locked onto the woman’s sea blue glare. “Idiot” the woman muttered.

Suddenly orange sparks and small bolts of lightning started coming from the woman as she elbowed Toga in the side, causing the villain to lose her grip on them. She took that to her advantage, grabbing Toga’s arm, pulling it over her shoulder then using all her strength to throw the ash blonde girl over her onto the ground. Her sea blue eyes glared at Shigaraki as more orange sparks flew off her.

“What must be done... Must be done. No matter what. Complete my mission. I was born into this world so that I could complete my mission, as a warrior” she muttered, soon an orange glow coming off her.

In an instant, a massive explosion blew the roof of the warehouse wide open, an orange glow filling the sky well into central Tokyo. People froze, staring up at the sky as the blue abyss turned a bright orange from the ground. People in Tokyo Tower watch from high up, seeing the large glow burst from the warehouse across the water. A massive bolt of orange lightning shoots down with a loud crack, reverberating through the city, enveloping the female as she continues to glare at Shigaraki. Soon steam bursts out of every opening in the warehouse, bellowing out the top as the Female Titan slowly stands up. She kicks her foot to the side, smashing the Nomu tanks along with the Nomu in them. There was a loud creaking as the Massive tank behind her opened up. Not even a second later, a massive, clawed hand swings out, slamming into the floor as one of the giant Nomus starts to crawl out, letting an ear splitting roar escape it’s jaws. The female’s ocean blue eyes narrowed as she raised her foot, slamming it down onto the Nomu’s head, her heel smashing into its exposed brains. The monster screeched in pain, being forced back into the tank as she let a low rumble escape her mouth. She tore her way out of the warehouse, turning to see Shigaraki glaring at her. Toga was pulling an unconscious Dabi out of the rubble, looking back presumably trying to find Spinner. The female slowly stepped forward, hearing the sound of news helicopters and the sound of cars screeching across the bridge, probably heroes. The whole city heard her transformation, those in high enough buildings probably saw it. She knelt down, her hand opening and moving forward to grab the villain. The sound of Toga screaming to Shigaraki However she paused when the blue haired man took a deep breath. Soon he lurched forward, letting a loud shout escape his lungs.

“Kurogiri! Get us out of here!”

In a split second, a purple mist started spiralling around the tanks filled with Nomu, then around the villains. It flooded the area, stopping just in front of the female’s face as 2 glowing eyes appeared level with her’s. Her own sea blue orbs narrowed as she quickly swung her right arm through the pair of misty eyes, trying to disperse them as she threw her hand forwards to grab Shigaraki. She felt her hand go through something cold, but she ignored it as she quickly closed her grip, feeling the villain in her grasp. However, before she was able to pull her hand out the mist, the same purple mist started swirling, causing her to pause, expecting an attack. But as she was waiting, she felt a sharp pain spread through her arm as she pulled her hand out. But when her arm left the thick mist, her right hand wasn’t there. Her hand was sliced clean off just above the wrist. Her eyes darted back to the misty eyes, swiping her other hand through them. But when she was about to go to grab the villain again, the mist dispersed. All it left was a destroyed warehouse with some broken tanks. The Nomu and the villains were all gone. She slowly stood, looking at her injured hand, seeing the steam pour out of it as she stepped back slightly.

“Don’t engage! She’s extremely dangerous! Remember Aizawa’s report from the attack yesterday! She took down almost all of the top 5 like they were nothing!”

The female snapped back to reality, slowly glancing over towards the heroes bunched up by the bridge near the warehouse. Her ocean blue eyes stared into them like a drill digging into stone, causing them all to freeze in fear. She slowly turned, her hand slowly growing back, becoming bones and tendons while she stepped forward. Her footsteps felt like Earthquakes to the heroes. Her cold, unnerving stare bearing down on them as she grew closer. Her gaze locked onto one hero in particular, the one in command of this unit while the others remained in the hospital or stuck at home. Momo Yaoyorozu.

One hero felt a tear roll down his cheek. He felt like he was looking into death itself as he trembled. He let out a terrified scream, the thruster packs on his legs roaring to life as he pulled some special rifle off his back. He launched forward, squeezing the trigger like it was his only purpose in life. Particle beams, much like Aoyama’s laser burst out of the barrel, slamming into the female over and over. However, they only succeed in pissing her off.

Her ocean blue eyes dart to the hero as her bangs cast a shadow over her eye sockets, making the blue seem to glow in the shadows. His eyes only widened with fear, welling up with tears as he fired more. In the blink of an eye, her left arm stot forward, snatching him out of the air like he was some toy off a shelf. She held him in front of her, the hero squirming in her grasp. He was barely larger than her hand, his head was barely poking out and he could only move his feet. Her gaze moved from the hero in her hand to the ones on the ground. She slowly turned her head to face them. Her eyes locking onto Momo, her ocean blue hues looking directly into Momo’s jet black eyes. The hero squirmed in her hand, crying and pleading for her to let him go, apologizing for shooting her. Her eyes never left Momo’s, her arm moving forwards towards the heroes, seeming to be giving him back. Several of the heroes started to breath sighs of relief, even the one in her hand started to calm slightly. However, Momo’s eyes widened as she saw the female’s glare only strengthen, her eyes swelling with the intent to kill, exactly like Kaminari described. She was playing with them.

Before Momo could plead for the female to stop, a quick scream of pain shrieked from her hand before a loud combination of a pop and a crunch filled the air. The heroes all watched as they saw the man go limp in her hand, blood pouring out from between her fingers, dripping onto the cement in front of her. She slowly turned her hand so it faced the ground. She opened her hand, letting the hero’s crushed and mangled body fall 13 meters to the ground. As it hit the ground, blood splattered around it, causing some heroes to vomit, others to go into a panic. Momo just watched, her eyes filled with horror as the female picked guts and chunks of meat off her palm. Her ocean blue eyes glanced over towards the heroes before she started moving forward, her hands coming to her sides. She walked right through the heroes, all too scared they’d end up like their comrade if they tried to do anything.

She glanced back to the heroes before starting to run down the bridge, soon bursting into steam before her massive body disappears, the quirk user running off somewhere.

Momo slowly paused, turning back to face the others, seeing them all be visibly mortified. Some looking back at their dead friend, others trying to come to grips with what they just saw. The creator slowly looked back to the bridge, tears starting to fall down her cheeks slightly. “You guys… managed to fight that thing…?” she mumbled to herself, realizing this was nothing to what the others had to be feeling when they were being chased by this thing.

It wasn’t just the heroes that felt that fear though. People all over Tokyo and all over Japan watched that horror live. By the time the news companies were able to realize what was going on and cut the cameras, she had already squeezed the life out of the hero. The media went wild, normally when heroes die, it’s in some grandiose fashion. Some big fight with a villain, saving people from a fire, sacrificing themselves to save others. No one ever thought a highly trained hero could just… be crushed. Parents and kids watched in horror from their homes. The Heroes Association watched with fear from their headquarters. Irvin Schmidt watched from his office in terror. Kirishima and Midoriya watched from the number 1’s hospital room, fear filling their hearts as they watched helplessly. Uraraka and Mount Lady felt the color drain from their faces as they watched the hero’s blood splurt out from her hand. Kaminari watched with wide eyes as he felt himself start to tremble. Bakugou watched, his eyes wide, motionless as hoses and wires were hooked up to where his left arm should be. Heroes and civilians all over Japan watched in horror, only snapping back to reality when the news companies cut the cameras. Even the news anchors were speechless as they stared either at the cameras or their crew, some had tears streaming down their cheeks, others ran off set to presumably vomit.

The fact that this power existed and could be used this way shook the country to its very core. Sure, the public had a taste of it with Shibuya, however, they were only shown Sashi’s fight with the giant Nomu. the heroes made sure that the public never saw Sashi going berserk, or the other female tearing her apart. The only civilians to see it were the ones there at Shibuya. And the Heroes Association kept the latest attack that cripled most of the top 5 under heavy classification. Only those in the attack and the top people in the association are able to see those files. This was the first time this ‘titan’ power was on show for the world to see, and it horrified everyone who watched.

Japan now feared this power, now not only heroes waited for its next appearance. Now the whole of Japan waited, scared for what would happen next, what that person would do next.

Momo’s eyes were wide, staring straight ahead as she walked back into the agency building. The heroes that went with her had more or less the same look on their faces. They were all silent, staring straight ahead, though not really seeing anything. Other heroes and sidekicks walked up to them, trying to talk, however they only got some blank looks or a ‘mhm’. They were all still processing what had happened. Some had the hero’s blood on them, others had their cheeks stained with tears. Silent tears that barely stopped falling. The creator slowly started towards the elevators, bumping into people as she went. She gave what could be seen as mumbled apologies, though her eyes never really saw who she walked into. She felt a hand grab her wrist as she blinked a few times. Her gaze slowly fell onto a blur of pink, soon figuring out it was Mina.

“Hey, hey you ok? Momo? Can you hear me?” the pink hero quietly asked.

Momo looked behind them, seeing Jiro walking up, followed by a concerned Annie. However, Momo’s eyes only widened when she saw the blonde, tears welling up in her eyes. She pushed past Mina and Jiro, quickly grabbing the blonde girl by the shoulders. Annie’s eyes widened as she looked up at the creator who was almost a head taller than her.

“M-Momo what’re you-?” She started, only to be cut off.

Tears rolled down Momo’s cheeks as she kept a tight grip on Annie’s shoulders. “Why… Why didn’t Sashi… why didn’t she save him?! Why didn’t she show up like last time! Was his life not worth what the other’s were? Did he deserve to die?! Why didn’t she come and tear her arm apart like last time?!”

Annie blinked a few times, looking up at the hero as she slowly closed her eyes. “His life meant something… his life was valuable. He didn’t deserve to die, he was just as valuable as Midoriya! He deserved to be here right now! He shouldn’t be dead! But, I don’t know where that hero or whoever that saved the other’s was! Maybe they couldn’t make it in time! I’m sure they wanted to save him! But they just couldn’t get there before it happened! Don’t blame Sashi for not saving someone! She tries her hardest! But everyone blaming her is the reason she ran away in the first place! Don’t you remember?! If that was Sashi that saved the others, she has a million obstacles to dodge and hoops to jump through to save people! Most of the people here want to catch her and throw her into the police, let alone all the other agencies all over Japan! For god’s sake! You need to realize, she can’t just walk down the street like before! She needs to take routs that heroes don’t go and pray she isn’t caught trying to sleep or something!”

Momo slowly took a step back, blinking a few times as her mind started to work into overdrive. She hadn’t given it much thought that Sashi had to hide. She had completely forgotten Sashi was wanted, she had been so preoccupied trying to find them for herself that she forgot others wanted her in jail or dead. She slowly looked around, her breath erratic as she saw the other heroes avoiding eye contact with her as she gripped her hands into tight fists. Damnit. Why did this have to hurt. She wanted to scream, tell everyone how stupid they were, convince them that Sashi wasn’t a monster. She was just some big, dumb, adorable, loving person that Momo wanted in her life more than anything. But everyone else would only see her for her quirk.

Annie raised a concerned eyebrow as she took a step forward. “Momo…?” her voice was quiet, back to its semi monotone normal.

Momo’s eyes darted back towards Annie, narrowing as she took a baited breath. She grabbed the blonde by her cream colored hoodie, pulling her close as she leaned in next to their ear. “If Sashi shows up, or heads to Kaminari’s house. You tell me. Understood? No one else, only me”. Though she whispered it, she sounded as serious as a commander sending their troops into war. Annie nodded, glancing up at the creator. Moments later, Momo let them go, walking off towards the elevators, leaving Jiro, Mina, Annie, and the other heroes and sidekicks in the lobby.

Later that night, Momo finally walked down the hall towards her apartment. It had been a long day, and she needed to be alone. She knew her friends worried, but the only people she wanted to see she couldn’t. One was stuck at his house nursing a concussion, and the other was missing, trying not to get caught by Momo’s own coworkers. Karma really was a bitch. She had been hearing rumors of people seeing someone flying through the city one wires, along with similar rumors of them being seen near Kaminari’s neighborhood. She really fucked this up didn’t she. She had to go and scream her head off at the one person that needed her most. While she believed she was right in being furious, her mother had just died, she felt like shit for how she said it. She didn’t want Sashi to disappear, she didn’t want them out of her life. She didn’t think they were some stupid monster, and she especially didn’t hate her. If anything, she missed her with every fiber of her being. But she knew she messed up, that she ruined any chance of her seeing the brunette again. Just when they were starting to figure everything out, she went and threw it all away with her stupid, big mouth. She let her emotions get the better of her. She was no different from Sashi, she let her emotions dictate her actions.

She felt tears starting to roll down her cheeks as she walked into her apartment. She glanced around, seeing the mess her home had become. Takeout boxes and wine glasses were spread all over her living room, her coffee table was littered with newspaper clippings and stories of a giant woman being seen carrying things for a village down south. Or of people seeing someone seeing a hooded figure swinging from the rooftops. She had started to go crazy, 5 months of searching for her, hoping she wasn’t dead. She needed to know, she wanted to make sure they were ok. She shook her head, trying to clear her head as she tossed her bag onto her couch, walking into her kitchen as she opened the fridge. A bunch of leftovers and takeout filled the shelves as she just grabbed something. Her eyes wander to her sink, pulling out a pair of chopsticks, rinsing them off before sitting at the island. She quietly starts to eat, reflecting on her past life that led to this point. She was always there for Sashi, as far back as she could remember.

Back in 3rd grade, when she transformed for the first time. Sure, she was scared, but she saw the other kids picking on her. For some reason that pissed her off, she wound up feeling protective of the brunette. Then in middle school, the same kids were spreading rumors, and when Sashi and some idiot got into a fight, he said she was gonna eat him. That spread through the school like wildfire. Suddenly Sashi was alone again. At first Momo wanted to help, but her current friends at the time kept pulling her away. Then when she was at one of her friends' homes studying in a group, one made an offhand comment about Sashi. Saying something like “I wonder what that monster Sashi is doing? You think we should mess with her?”. For the first time ever, Momo snapped. She started yelling at the girls, saying how Sashi wasn’t a monster, how she was a normal person who deserved respect. After that, Momo started staying with Sashi during lunch and during the weekend. Even learning basic German, since that’s what Sashi spoke at home. High school was rough. Sure, Momo had a lot of friends, she was one of the most popular girls at the school, but in the back of her mind she worried about Sashi. They started out talking every night, Sashi spam calling the creator whenever there was a villain attack, hoping she was ok. But after the beginning of second year, they started to drift apart. Momo started dating a girl from 2-B, telling Sashi about how great she was. The brunette seemed supportive, but there was always something tugging at their voice on the 2’s calls. By the end of 2nd year, the 2 barely texted. They only wished each other the best on holidays, but besides that, they went silent. Then at the beginning of 3rd year, Momo broke up with her girlfriend. She found out later in the year they’d be having a competition with Shiketsu. She was ecstatic, she knew Sashi went there, so she started telling all of class 3-A all about them. When the competition rolled around, she knew she’d be busy, so she told Sashi to come to the dorms to meet everyone afterwards. However, it didn’t go as planned.

She remembered watching as Sashi’s titan form was stomping down on the helpless Kirishima. She heard the horrified roar that came from the brunette, remembering that sound from the 3rd grade. It was the same roar that came from her when the teachers all pushed her into a corner of the field, trying to calm her down. She watched helplessly as Sashi climbed out of the stadium, hearing the people’s screams. She just sat there, hearing heroes and students horrified cries. She heard loud bangs come from outside the stadium followed by more of Sashi’s scared roars. Soon it went silent. Evidently, Aizawa and Mount Lady managed to stop her. A day after the incident, she heard kids calling her a terrifying monster in the cafeteria. And for the second time in her life, she snapped. She slammed her tray down, stomping over towards the group, grabbing the one who’d started the conversation. Everyone fell silent as she started screaming and shouting. Sounding almost like Bakugou as she went off on them, saying how Sashi wasn’t some monster, how they had no idea what she went through growing up. How she never meant to kill anyone. After that, all the talk about Sashi stopped whenever Momo was present. She later found out Sashi had finished school from home, under house arrest. Years later, Momo saw Sashi’s application to join the Uravity agency, accepting it immediately. Then they soon started working together, growing closer. She introduced them to her friends, all forgiving what happened back in 3rd year. 3 years later, they had grown inseparable. If Sashi wasn’t with Kaminari, she was with Momo. Then Shibuya happened, and everything shot to hell.

______________________________________________________________________________

Momo’s eyes shot open as she heard a loud crash followed by groaning coming from her balcony. She seemed to have fallen asleep, slowly getting up. Her gaze fell to her back door, slowly walking over as she created a large staff, pulling it from her palm. She saw the outline of a hunched over figure against the city lights. Her grip on the staff tightened, taking a deep breath as she flicked her balcony light on, quickly unlocking and opening the door. She took a quick step out, pointing the staff at the figure. “I don’t know how you got up here but so help me god-”. She immediately froze, her eyes growing wide as they stared at the person hunched over gripping their leg.

A brunette ponytail slowly slid off their back, revealing a rose with wings on a dark blue cloak. Their head slowly turned, their eyes widening as hazel irises slowly locked with Momo’s black ones. The look on their face looked like a mixture of surprise and fear, staying frozen. Momo looked to their side, a bunch of flowers lay on the balcony floor with an envelope that had the creator’s name on it.

Sashi slowly stood up, wincing a little at her shin, but standing. Her eyes never left Momo as she turned to face them. Her mind was racing at a million miles per hour as she felt her heart race. But this time, it wasn’t just because it was Momo. No, she was also waiting for Momo to start screaming. She never meant to have Momo see her, she was just going to put the flowers and letter on her counter. But she’d grown so used to Kaminari’s unlocked doors that she forgot other people kept their doors locked at night. So now she was standing there, looking at Momo as she anticipated the worst, thinking any second, the creator would start to scream at how much she hated them.

“U-Uhm… I… just wanted to give… but the door was… I…” incoherent phrases started falling out of her face. She was having a really hard time trying to speak. She knew it was meaningless in the end, that she’d be told to leave. Her hazel eyes glanced up towards the creator’s. She felt her heart shatter when she saw tears starting to well up and fall down Momo’s cheeks. The hero looked like she was breaking all over again, just like she was when she screamed at Sashi to get out of her life. Sashi slowly stepped back, knowing she probably just re-broke something inside Momo. Turning to leave, she pulled the handles off her belt muttering. “I-I shouldn’t have come here… this was a bad idea… this was a really bad idea…”.

“Don’t you fucking dare leave. Don’t you dare run away from me ever again you fucking idiot”

Sashi froze, slowly turning to face the creator, noticing she had dropped the staff. Her eyes widened, seeing her have a tight grip on the flowers and the envelope. Momo took a few steps back, giving her space to come inside. Sashi silently nodded, walking into the apartment, pausing as she saw the state. She glanced back to Momo, seeing them close the back door as she walked past. Sashi’s mind started to race, barely noticing Momo dump out a tall glass, filling it with water as she carefully put the flowers in. What was happening? This wasn’t what she had expected. Why was Momo telling her not to leave, why wasn’t Momo screaming at her?

“She cares about you! Why can’t you open your goddamn eyes?!”

Her eyes slowly grew wide, Kaminari’s words ringing through her head as she watched the creator sit at her island. Could she actually still care? Why should she care? Sashi was the one who killed her mother, she was some stupid monster. She couldn’t care, and yet…

“Sit” Momo said so blankly. She didn’t even look to the brunette, carefully opening the envelope.

Sashi slowly walked over to the seat next to her, gently sitting down as she stared at her hands. She had been so caught up telling herself the worst. She kept beating herself up, telling herself that Momo didn’t care. That Momo was only playing a part from the beginning, waiting for the right moment to cut ties. She had gotten so caught up in telling herself the worst that she never even considered the possibility that maybe, just maybe, it wasn’t some lie. She kept looking at her hands, hearing the creator unfold the paper she had shoved in. Her hazel eyes glance over, seeing Momo skimming over the letter written on the paper before letting out a heavy sigh. Sashi felt her heart crack, hearing Momo clear her throat. She closed her eyes tightly, slowly waiting for her to start telling her some horrible thing.

“Ahem.. ‘Dear Momo, I’m not the best at expressing my feelings, but here’s my attempt at hoping I can write them out” she started. Sashi’s eyes shot open, quickly turning to face her. She was reading it out loud? Why was she…? Oh god, what was she doing?!

“‘I want to start off by apologizing for… well everything. I know being my friend isn’t easy, especially now. You don’t have to defend me for my actions just because you feel you have to. You have more of a right to hate me than anyone, I did kill your mother. By the way, I visited her grave the other day. The headstone is really pretty, and I gave her a bunch of her favorite flowers (Yes I remember what they were). I also told her I was sorry over a million times while bawling my eyes out. I’m really sorry for what I’ve done, if i could switch places with her I would… honest to god I would. She deserves to be here more than me”...”. Momo’s voice trembled slightly. Sashi could tell they were holding back so many emotions, but she was sure they were for her mom. Though she could understand, she wouldn’t know what to do if her mom died.

With a shaky breath, Momo started again. “ ‘I also wanted to apologize for… probably messing up your whole life. I admit I'm pretty dense at times, and I let my emotions drive me. That is never easy for anyone involved, so I’m sorry. I’m also sorry I let you down. I trained so hard to master my quirk, and just when I was figuring it out, Shibuya happened. I have no excuses. I just saw you injured on TV, then I lost it. I wanted to make them pay for hurting you… then one thing led to another. So I’m sorry. And I know, you probably hate me, but there’s something I’ve been meaning to get off my chest for a while. I’ve meant to tell you this for a really long time, I’ve just been too scared of your reaction or messing things up… not that it matters anymore though’ ”.

The creator took a baited breath, tears streaming down her cheeks as she hiccuped slightly. “ ‘since middle school, I always knew you were the one. But I couldn’t do anything about it. I didn’t want to bring you down. You were the queen of our grade, and I was the worst hated kid in the school. I always told myself tomorrow I’ll tell her how I feel. Then tomorrow turned into the next day, then next week, then over break, then when we got back from summer break. Next thing I knew we were going to different high schools. You went to UA, I went to Shiketsu. We were about as far apart as we could be then. I kept promising myself, I’ll tell her next time we called. But I never did. Then we slowly started drifting apart. Then out of the blue you sent a text saying you had a girlfriend, talking about how great she was. I won’t lie, my heart broke. I waited too long to tell you, and I missed my chance. But I put on a brave face, trying to be supportive. ‘If she’s happy, then it’s fine’ I kept telling myself. She’s happy, so that’s fine. But then I grew into a combination of depression and burying myself in school to try and cover the crack in my heart. That’s when we really stopped talking. I couldn’t bare to talk to you, not because you were dating someone else, no. it was because I didn’t trust myself enough to not say something stupid that would piss you off. Then the competition came, and you said you wanted to introduce me to your friends. But then I went and fucked everything up…’ “.

She paused for a second, slowly looking over at the brunette. Sashi looked down at the floor, her bangs shadowing her eyes. Momo opened her mouth, letting out a soft gasp “did… did me dating that other girl really hurt that much…?”. Sashi nodded faintly, slowly looking up, tears falling down her own cheeks as she put on a pained smile.

“But it didn’t matter, you were happy with her… so that’s all that counts…”. The brunette sniffled, doing her best to not start sobbing. She poured her heart into that letter, but she thought she could escape this emotional pain by leaving it and running.

Momo’s eyes grew wide as she looked back at the letter, taking a shaky breath as she continued. “ ‘I found out recently, that after the competition, you went around, screaming at people who called me a monster, which was also the first time the people at UA heard you scream in anger before. Anyways, then high school ended, and I thought you had moved on from me, so I started to do the same. I applied for agencies, went on dates, lived life. Though i could never really get past the first date. At the time, I chalked it up to me winding up only becoming friends with them. But in hindsight, it’s because they weren’t you. So I dedicated my time to work, and then I got into the Uravity agency. And the first face I saw when I walked through the door was yours, beaming at me like a million suns. And then we started working together, and all the feelings came rushing back. And then it started all over again. I kept telling myself ‘today is the day I confess’ and I kept that on repeat for the next year. But then Shibuya happened, and then I realized when I was in your office that day, listening to you scream your head off at me. I did it again. I did the same thing again. I waited too long, it was too late. There was no coming back from this. You hated me, you probably still hate me. But I can’t help it. So I’m telling you this now’ “. Momo’s breath hitched as she put her hand over her mouth, gripping the letter tightly. Tears poured down her cheeks as she read.

“ ‘No matter how much you hate me, no matter what you may think of me. That won’t stop me from feeling how I feel about you Momo. I love you, Momo Yaoyorozu’ “.

Sashi felt her heart slowly start to both crack and come together as she heard those words. She glanced up to the creator, waiting for their reaction.

Momo was just staring at the paper, tears streaming down her cheeks. Her grip on the paper only grew tight as she slammed it down onto the counter. “You idiot…” she mumbled, causing Sashi to frown slightly. The brunette cast her gaze down a little, knowing she should probably be leaving soon.

“You big, huge, fucking idiot!” Momo sobbed. “Do you know how scared I was?! You had me worried sick! I was so scared and worried about you! Yes I was mad about my mother! Shit, I still am! But to tell you to get out of my life… That’s not possible! I can’t live in a world without you! You aren’t a monster! You’re a human being! You’re a human being that I want by my side till I grow old and die! A human being that I want to spend my life with! I could never hate you, I would never hate you! Sure, you drive me crazy sometimes, but that’s what makes you amazing! Since we were little kids, the very first time I stood up for you, the way you looked up at me like I was amazing! It made me feel like I was on top of the world! Throughout middle school, I always wanted to tell you how I felt as well, I didn’t give a shit what the other kids thought! And high school… fuck! It was hell! That girl was nice, but the whole time I was with her, in the back of my mind I felt like I was betraying you…! And it turns out I was! I went and broke your fucking heart and it makes me want to tear mine out to fix yours! When I screamed at you in my office, the instant those words left my mouth, the instant I saw how much I hurt you, it made me want to die! I wanted to chase after you, I wanted to apologize, I wanted to fix everything I had just shattered! I felt so fucking bad! I’m so so so sorry! I don’t care if you’re wanted, I don’t care what the public thinks of you! Please don’t leave again! I can’t take you running away for a second time”

Sashi’s eyes were as wide as saucers. Her brain was working in overdrive trying to process everything she heard. Tears spilled out of her eyes as she looked at the sobbing Momo before her. “M-Momo… w-what’re you saying…?”

Momo quickly turned to face Sashi, sobbing harder. “I’m telling you that I love you, you big, stupid idiot! I love you! I love you so damn much!”

Sashi let out a half cry, half laugh as she smiled as best she could, wiping some of the tears away as she closed her eyes. “I love you too. I love you too, so damn much!”.

Momo couldn’t speak. She wanted to cry out, but her voice wouldn’t let her. So she went with actions instead, doing what felt the most natural. She pushed herself off her seat, her arms wrapping around Sashi’s neck as she pulled the brunette as close as possible. She felt their arms wrap around her midsection as she leaned in quickly. Her mind went blank as she let her body take control.

Their lips crashed together as they embraced, trying to make sure the other never left their arms. Both their minds went blank as they could only think of each other. Sashi’s grip only tightened, not wanting to let go. This was a dream come true, a dream that she thought would never happen for as long as she lived. But here she was, kissing the girl of her dreams. Her lips felt soft and warm, it was amazing, she felt like she was getting addicted to Momo. Her hands slowly gripped onto the back of Momo’s shirt, balling up in her fists.

The 2 held the kiss for a little, starting to make the kiss more passionate before Momo pulled away slowly. She smiled as bright as she could, cupping Sashi’s cheeks in her hands as she let out a faint giggle. “You’re not going anywhere… you’re staying right here with me. I’m not letting you run away again, I love you too damn much…”.

Sashi only nodded, wiping the tears from her eyes. She laughed quietly, a small smile pulling at her lips as she pressed her head to the creator’s. She pushed her face into the crook of their neck, blushing softly as she wrapped her arms around Momo. “I’m not going anytime soon… I love you too much to run away now…”
