Love is the air, showering us with weddings.
It’s official dear readers!! Jin Zixuan aka the Peacock has proposed to Jiang Yanli. If you remember a few weeks ago we had reported that they had been spotted together at the Nie Zonghui welcome home party. Apparently, they have been together longer than thought of because of recent developing.
The groom to be had proposed in one of the gardens of Koi Towers. Ms. Jiang Yanli had arrived earlier than planned catching the young master red handed (or rather mud handed in this) planting lotus and water lilies for the pond he had created for her. Showing maturity he has gained, Jin Zixuan stepped out of the pond handing the lotus plant to the bride to be and propose. Rumors is that Jiang Yanli is to be given TWO RINGS. One that Jin Zixuan had picked himself and one that his mother insist he give her.
Looks like the wedding is to happen in the next two to three months with the location being in one of the hotels own by the Jin clan. Which hotel has be undetermined is there is slight disagreement of whether it should be held in Lanling or Yungmeng. So far, we haven’t gotten word on how the brothers of Jiang Yanli has reacted to this news.

Another surprise proposal that has happened involves the Qishan Clan, and thankfully it does not involve Wen Chao or his brother Wen Xu.
The lucky couple is one Wen Qing (age 25) and Luo Qingyang (age 23). Most will know Ms. Luo Qingyang better as Mianmian. Wen Qing has just finished her rotation at Dafan Medical, thus becoming a medical doctor. Luo Qingyang is considered to be a great asset to the Jin clan and is Jin Zixuan’s right hand. The couple have been dating three years where they meet on a hiking trip.
Sources says that on a recent return trip to this trail where they first meet, that Wen Qing proposed. Luo Qingyang ring is thought to be the engagement ring belonging to Wen Zhaoyang (great grandmother of Wen Chao and Wen Xu). While Wen Qing ring is to be her mother’s own engagement ring. The couple are planning next fall most likely in Nightless City.
Is the Nie Clan next to have one walk down the aisle?
Sources say that Nie Mingjue has made an appointment with Baoshan Sanren to do a compatible reading and picking auspicious date. Now is this reading for himself? Remember Jin Guangyao has been reported sneaking in and out of Nie residents for several months now. Maybe after losing him once Nie Mingjue has decided to lock it down?
Other theory is that this is for his brother Nie Huaisang. Now I know you’re thinking to yourself who would marry the little bird? * (a nickname for Nie Huaisang in non-cultivator world). Nie Zonghui not only has resumed is role of being second in command but also been seen around the city with Nie Huaisang. And not just doing business either. They have been seen at the Mo Manor Gallery (an eclectic art gallery), and several clubs at Lanling and Nightless City. If he is getting ready to propose marriage to the youngest Nie brother, one can’t help think is this for love or for power? Only time will answer this question.
One last theory is that the appointment is for both Nie brothers. A witness said they heard Nie Minjue arguing about the price and timing of doing charts. The witness would have gotten closer but with Nie Mingjue bellowing and Baoshan Sanren yelling right back on the phone, they lose their nerves. (One does not blame them, that is like getting in between two bulls ready to charge.)
We did try to in get contact with Baoshan Sanren by sending one of interns to her office. Apparently, her wife was not there because our intern came back to us in tears. All we could make out with the sniffling they were doing was something about client privacy. We wait with bated breath on the news like the rest of our readers.

On unrelated wedding news we have heard that two visits have been made to the BaoshanLan compound in Celestial Mountain #. The first is with the Lan Clan. The party seems to be only Lan Qiren, Lan Wanji and Lan Xichen. Not sure what it was about but we are working on it as we speak. The second meeting seems to be a bit more promising as it was Xiao Xingchen bringing along Song Zichen. We are hoping to have results of that meeting by the end of the week.
