Who needs bail money?
Apparently, there was a lot of bad blood spilling all over today because the cops were busy this week. We got a lot to cover so we will get started.
In our last issue we announced the engagement of Jiang Yanli and Jin Zixuan. With that article we had commented on how Ms. Jiang Yanli brother would take the news. It seems that day we published that article the newly engaged couple were hosting a brunch at The Lily Pond Café. Th party included Wei Wuxian, Jiang Cheng, Lan Wanji and Lan Xichen. For those unaware Lan Xichen and Jiang Yanli are really good friends, having saving their respective brothers from each other.
Turns out the news was not taking well with Jiang Yanli’s brothers. Customers say that Jiang Cheng started cursing up a storm that would make sailor blush. Wei Wuxian actually got on the table and started going after the groom to be. Wisely Jin Zixuan started backing away and was heading towards the door as soon as Jiang Cheng started yelling. Wei Wuxian was threatening to finish the job he started almost two years ago. This time it wouldn’t just be Jin Zixuan nose that would be broken. There were also creative ways on where his dizi going into Jin Zixuan’s body.
Jiang Yanli usually can calm the tempest that are her brothers but they were not listening to her today. To prevent the cops from being call or at least arriving because there were some calls already made. Lan Wanji picked Wei Wuxian like a sack of potatoes over his shoulder and took him out of the café. Wei Wuxian was still yelling threats out as he was being carried. Sources claim they heard Lan Wanji call him Wei Ying.
Jiang Cheng started to go for Jin Zixuan when his brother was carried away but Lan Xichen grabbed him by the scruff of his collar. Smiling Lan Xichen congratulated the couple and escorted Jiang Cheng. The young master of Yungmeng was still cursing up a storm and demanded to be put down but the First Jade did no such thing. It seems Jiang Cheng angry of this carried over into what happened later that night but we will get to that further down in the article dear readers.
We received word that there had been noise complaint over at Nie Manor. Now one is use to it being quite loud at that residence. With the saber training, Nie Minjue yelling at his brother for avoiding the saber training and Nie Minjue just yelling in general. This man wouldn’t know how to be quiet if his life depended on it. This afternoon seemed exceptional loud, with not one voice but two voices yelling and screaming at each other.
Noted was the sound of possible glass breaking as well. A neighbor has been quoted “It was like World War 3 was going on. One moment there is this loud bang followed by a screeching sound then silence.” Neighbors worried that someone had been hurt or worse murder they call the police. Once summoned the police tried knocking on the front door but no one came to open it.
Remembering that the side gate usually was unlocked the police decided to enter the home this way. A few minutes later the two policemen could be seen scurrying their way out the side gate. Looking very red and couldn’t look anyone in the eye. Stating that everyone was alright and that people should could to their homes.
A bystander overheard one of the policemen talking to his colleague. Apparently Nie Mingjue and Jin Guangyao had been fighting (nothing earth shattering about this). Well, the police caught the two at the making up portion of the fight. A braver policeman recommend that perhaps the couple keep the fighting and making up portion inside the house to prevent further calls. Only time will tell if they heed this advice (the office has a betting pool going on right now on how long it will be before the cops are called again.)
And the night continued to be exciting for our police department with not one but FOUR arrest from two different fights. The first set of arrest occurred at Lan Yi’s home in Caiyi Town (it is rumored that between Lan Yi and her wife they own at least 6 homes.). Source says that Xiao Xingchen had brought Song Zichen home to meet the family, possible to apologize calling the later a boy toy (this editor thinks this is unlikely). Also in attendance was Lan Qiren, Lan, Xichen and Lan Wangji. For some reason Wei Wuxian was also there. Possible there to visit his grandmothers that happen to coincide. More likely is that Wei Wuxian was brought in to help rein Baoshan Sanren (more like adding fuel to fire).
Now we are still working out the details by somehow, someway Xue Yang got into the house. Some of the workers in the house think he jumped over the fence which is 20 feet high, other say that he had been invited. As mentioned, details are scarce and conflicting but the gist is Xue Yang insulted Song Zichen, a punch was thrown by one of them, which then just turned into the two trying to beat the crap out each other. One of the workers called the police, who came and was getting statements. Apparently between everyone they were able to break the two up before the cops came.
Typical procedure is to run for outstanding warrants. No surprise here Xue Yang had two of these. One for assault and another for suspected arson. The shocker was Song Zichen also had one standing from his time at Baixue Temple.** Because of this both were arrested and taking to jail. Now at the time of the printing both men bail had been paid. Xue Yang’s paid by a Su She and Song Zichen was paid by a young woman named A-Qing. Both are awaiting separate trial dates for these warrants and no charges were pressed for the fight.
** Baixue Temple is an extreme environmental group. Song Zichen warrants were for releasing animals at a zoo and lab. Trespassing a development of the Yangtze River dam. Destruction of private property in Lanling. **
We move to the final fight of this exciting night. At Mo Manor in which Mo Xuanyu was showing off his newest art pieces. Here Jiang Cheng was still in a foul mood from earlier but seemed to have somewhat calmed down in the presence of Nie Huaisang. While the second young master was conveying with Mo Xuanyu, Nie Zonghui had approached Jiang Cheng. It may have started civil but as the conversation continued Jiang Cheng face started to turn an almost purple shade. Bystanders claim that the two men were discussion who should be courting young master Nie Huaisang. Each claiming why they were the best candidate. In some many words Jiang Cheng accused Nie Zonghui just wanting Nie Huaisang to cement his career in Qignhe company. Nie Zonghi supposedly responded to this by stating why would Nie Huaisang want a man whose own father chose a bastard** over his only legitimate son. This is where Jiang threw a punch at Nie Zonghi, according to the guests they heard the sound of his nose being broke. And hell broke loose with several art pieces being broken, along with a table.
No one sure who called the police but by this they were quite fed up and just arrested the both of them. No charges were pressed by Mo Xuanyu or Nie Zonghui ( so far at this time.) There was a bail set before things were settled that both men have to pay Mo Manor for the damages. A woman named Sisi came with the money for Nie Zonghui. And by all surprise Jin Zixuan came with the money to bail Jiang Cheng (we think hell froze over.) We will dispel the one rumor that Zidian was used, just for the fact that Nie Zonghui was not treated for burns.
We will keep updated on all the legal actions that may happen between theses all these cases. Also one last thing dear readers, Sisi is a family friend of Jin Guangyao along with Su She. And A- Qing is a friend of Xue Yang and Xiao Xingchen ( yes we were shocked about that too.)
** Last editors note Wei Wuxian has been speculated that is father is Jiang Fengmian not Wei Changze. There is no proof proving this, trust we have tried. One suggested had the nerve to ask Baoshan Sanren it did not end well for them.**
