"Hey Ro."
"Hey Miko. Why're you calling?" the boy on the other end of the phone asked. Izuku sweatdropped and subconsciously started rubbing the back of his neck.
"Welllll, I wanted to congratulate you on your two flawless wins but I'm pretty sure that if I were to try and find you I'd just get lost in the maze of hallways again." Izuku admitted a bit sheepishly.
"Don't worry about it Miko. And thank you for the congratulations. Maybe I'll make it three wins."
Izuku couldn't help but smile at his friends confidence. Although it was more likely to be Izuku's sense of humor rubbing off on Todoroki.
"Well, maybe, if you make it three first place wins I might just have to take you to dinner Ro." Izuku hummed, picking at one of his fingernails.
"....Like a date?" Todoroki asked hesitantly, afraid of something by the tone of his voice. Izuku just relaxed with a grin and a slight blush.
"Sure, it can be a date if you want it to be one. I won't being any of the kids. It would just be you and me Ro." Izuku was slightly mortified at how forward he was being with his friend.
Especially since he hadn't given his very minuscule crush on his best friend much thought before this very conversation. But, he really didn't hate the idea of going on a date with Todoroki.
"I would like that Miko. And all I have to do is get first in this last challenge right?" Todoroki confirmed.
"Right. All you have to do is win the Sports Festival and I'll take you on a kid-free date together." Izuku was probably as red as a strawberry. Was he actually negotiating a date with Todoroki right now?
"Well then, Good luck Ro. I'll see you after the last event."
"Thanks Miko. See you later."
As soon as Todoroki said goodbye Izuku hung up the phone And slid pitifully down the wall he had been leaning on. Holy shit. He really just made a move on his best friend.
Thankfully Izuku didn't have too much time to lament over the fact because he heard Mic's announcement.
"Woah ladies and gentlemen what are the girls of 1A wearing?"
That piqued Izuku's interest so he looked at the TV down the hall that was broadcasting the Sports Festival. Izuku almost actually choked when he saw the girls standing uncomfortably on the field in UA cheerleading uniforms.
Izuku quickly made a plan that would take a matter of two minutes to carry out with his quirk.
He stood up and went back into viewing booth and leaned on the railing so that his phone screen was out of sight of the cameras. He grinned as he hacked remotely into UA's servers and looped the footage together of him on the phone with Todoroki.
He made it look like he was still on the phone but with someone else. When he started playing the loop he shadow travelled to a bathroom stall, changed into some of his Rogue gear before he travelled to the girls lockers and found a spare cheerleading uniform.
It was incredibly embarrassing to be in the girls lockers without permission but Izuku had a mission so he put the uniform on over his gear before he took a deep breath and shadow travelled to the field where the girls were.
He was met with surprised shouts and some squeaks from the 1A girls.
"Rogue? What are you doing here?" Uraraka asked, tugging on the cropped top of the uniform.
"You ladies looked uncomfortable so it's the least I could do to join you all. And maybe if you point me in the right direction I can punch whoever made you do this."
"Hell yeah!" Ashido cheered. "Let's show them that the girls of class 1A are made of. Plus our vigilante bro Rogue of course." She tacked on at the end as more of an afterthought.
Izuku grinned none the less and pumped his fist in the air. "Let's do this ladies!"
"WHAT'S HAPPENING DOWN THERE?! IS THAT THE INFAMOUS VIGILANTE ROGUE CHEERLEADING WITH THE UA GIRLS?!" Mic yelled and Izuku smiled wolfishly, infamous huh? He could work with that.
"I need I new job"

Within a few minutes #ROGUE was trending on Twitter as people tweeted and retweeted gifs of Rogue dancing around in the cheerleaders uniform and then using cheerleading moves to knock out the pros that tried to foolishly apprehend him.
And then the people who had been saved by Rogue's vigilante activities started sharing the short versions of their stories and showering the vigilante with thanks and praise.
But none of that measured up to what Hawks tweeted.

The comments were a mess of pro heroes and fans freaking out over the implication that Hawks knew and was in contact with the vigilante. His PR team was having an aneurysm.

Needless to say that gave #ROGUE a giant signal boost and soon everyone who was even remotely interested in heroes was tweeting about Hawks and Rogue. Artists were already having a field day with it.
It took ten minutes for the vigilante Rogue to become internet famous and after that there was no going back.

Izuku had no idea why the crowd was suddenly going wild around the time the break between events was ending but he really didn't mind since it gave him more than enough of a window to slip away back to the bathroom after he gave the extra uniform to Yaomomo as she asked him to call her.
Izuku changed back into his civilian clothes and tied up all the loose ends with the security tapes so Nedzu wouldn't even have a chance to link Momiko Hisashi to the vigilante Rogue.
Damn that whole cheerleading thing had been a whole workout, not to mention he had to knock out and Pro's who felt cocky enough to attempt a capture. It was a godsend that Endeavor decided to stay in the stands.
Izuku settled back into his seat with his kids and Mahoro immediately handed him his vigilante phone.
"Uhhh Sashi-nii? Your phone has been blowing up with notifications."
Izuku cocked his head to the side and made the transition between his two phones as smooth as he could before he opened his phone and saw he had texts and notifications from....Twitter?
Within seconds Izuku was livid enough to make a new Twitter account.

The internet went wild. And Izuku knew that he had just made a huge mistake in helping the 1A girls. Instead of thinking about that for too long he decided to reply to his missed messages.
DetectiveDad: Hawks you idiot.

Izuku laughed cruelly as Hawks continued to beg him to not post the pictures that he had taken during their shared patrols. Mahoro and Eri had looked curiously over to his phone screen before they were giggling as well.
Finally the end of the break and the in-between games was announced and all the first years were called back to the field so the third and final round could start.
