Divine and Devilry

"Your sword play is quite interesting, Izuku. Who taught you?" Fumikage watched the Tiefling go through swing stances with the silver longsword he could conjure.

"No one really taught me per se, I sort of got some techniques implanted in my mind when I made a Pact with The Black Razor." Izuku put Curse Bringer back into its intradimensional pocket.

"The Black Razor, that is your Patron is it not? What is it like?" Fumikage had grown rather curious in regards to this Patron, Izuku had mentioned this mysterious sword a few times but never gone into much details.

"I don't actually know The Black Razor all that well, I met it briefly when I made my Pact with it, it was an odd thing. Called itself a sword but it really was more of a dagger, black as pitch and cold as hell to the touch. It spoke psychically since you know; it's a sword. Its voice was something so deep and dark. After I made a pact with it, it disappeared and I was able to call Curse Bringer which helped me escape-" Izuku's got real quiet, his solid emerald eyes held such a look of pain and horror.

Fumikage got up from his seat on the back porch and drew the Tiefling into a hug which Izuku returned, he took shelter in the warm embrace of his friend which chased away the painful memories. "If you like I can show you some proper sword techniques, I am by no means a master in the way of the blade; but I have taken lessons. Let me get my sword and we can practice together."

"I'd like that, Fumichan."

The two of them practiced side-by-side, Izuku picking up Fumikage's teaching quickly. Shouto joined them in the backyard to watch them practice the door opened once more and Momo came out.

"Yaoyorozu would you care to join us in practice? If I recall you told me once that you had fencing lessons when you were younger." Fumikage spoke up addressing the black haired hero.

"I have had lessons, but I am not sure my fencing could keep up with your style, Tokoyami."

"Could you show me some fencing technique, Momochan?"

"I guess I can, but I am not sure how well it will work with your longsword." Momo lifted her shirt just enough to create a fencing foil for her and for Izuku.

"Oh that won't be a problem, I can do this." Izuku touched Cursebringer which glowed in a soft green light before it shifted from a longsword to a rapier.

"That's really impressive, Izuku. Can you change it to any weapon?" Shouto asked the Tiefling.

"I can, I just prefer to use a longsword."

"Is it because your dad used a longsword?" Shouto stood up walking over to Momo and taking the extra foil.

"Yeah, mom said he was amazing with it."

"You really admire your dad huh?" Shouto took position besides Izuku as Momo instructed them in the first stance.

"Yeah, I always want to be just like him. My mom told me all the stories of his adventures and how amazing he was, I wanted to be a Rogue like him." Izuku's solid emerald eyes shone brightly as he spoke of his dad, Shouto felt a tinge of envy as he heard the Tiefling speaking of his father like that.

"He must be an amazing dad." Shouto turned to Izuku so that they could practice the first few stances with one another.

"I never knew him, just the stories my mom told me. He disappeared before I was born, mom never said why he had to leave, just that it was something extremely important."

"I'm sorry to hear that, Izuku. So your dad is still out there?" The Tiefling paused mid stance his eyes growing comically wide.

"I never considered dad might still be out there." He put Cursebringer away before rushing to find the one person who he could ask about his dad.

"Where are you going, Izuku?" Momo asked after the Tiefling as he made his way to the front of the dorms.

"I need to speak with Principal Nezu."

----

"Well, Kurogiri?" Shigaraki looked at the fog villain who was polishing a whiskey glass with methodical care, the well dressed villain set the glass down before addressing his ward and the others in the new bar hide out.

"These sightings of people in armor with swords have sprung up more and more, they seem to be seeking some sort of power, a few of them have been arrested for attacking a few people with Heteromorphic quirks, specifically those with horns and tails."

"You want to recruit these people? Sounds like a bad idea, they might try an attack us." Dabi spoke up from his seat, he tapped his cigarette dropping the ashes into the crystal ashtray, Himiko stirred her drink with a finger grabbing an ice cube and popping it into her mouth; crunching it before speaking.

"I have to agree with Dabi, Shigichan, these wackos seem dangerous even by our standards."

"We should recruit them, nah we should ignore them!" Twice jumped up from his seat to strike a pose.

"We could use them to break into Tartarus and free Sensei." Shigaraki turned to the other villains pointing to the cork board with all kinds of diagrams and plans, many with big red X across them.

"But why would they help us?" Mr. Compress asked the leader of the League of Villains.

"Thanks to Kurogiri's network of informants we know that they have several of these sword wielding assholes in there. We pretend to be sympathetic to their cause, whatever it is, and offer to help them rescue their comrades, we use them as a distraction for the guards and rescue Sensei."

"What makes you think that would work? They take one look at Spinner or Kurogiri and they will swing at them, not to mention they're quirkless." Dabi blew out a stream of smoke before snubbing out the butt in the crystal ashtray.

"We just need to point them at the gates of Tartarus." Shigaraki made a hasty note among the many others that overran the bar countertop.

"Then we slip in the back; rescuing Sensei." Spinner got what Shigaraki was planning.

"But do we even know where they are keeping him?" Magne's question seemed to quiet the mood in the bar.

"I could get some blood from one of the guards, slip in, look around and get a location." Himiko casually stated downing her drink and tapping the glass with a painted nail, Kurogiri opened a small warp gate to allow him access to the glass, refreshing Himiko's drink.

"Tartarus has installed a new security measure, a pulse wave emitter that disrupts quirks, if you go in there your quirk would fail and you could be captured Ms. Toga."

"So we don't have any actual plan then." Dabi pulled out another cigarette lightning it with his fingertip.

"We have a plan!" Shigaraki yelled, slamming his fist on the countertop, scattering a few papers.

"We have a half-baked plan, you don't know how to contact these sword weirdos, or if you can get them to follow your plan. Even if they do storm the gate, we don't know where All for One is, we would just end up getting caught and locked up in Tartarus along with him, I say leave him in there and continue with our plan." As soon as Dabi finished Shigaraki was in his face snarling.

"I will not leave Sensei in there!!; How dare you even suggest something like that you burnt bastard!!" Dabi just sneered at the villain leader before blowing smoke into his face, a warp gate opened in front of Dabi's face saving him from getting all five fingers of Shigaraki's hand on it.

"I'm heading out for some air, call me when you have an actual plan." With that Dabi exited the bar, leaving Shigaraki to his note scribbling.
